This is a phenomenally well-designed network with 10+ miles of fast, flowing, and technical singletrack that never feels repetitive. Photos don't come close to capturing how good this place really is, you have to ride it to believe it. I've mountain biked all over the western U.S., and Fantasy Island genuinely stands out. This trail system alone makes Tucson a true mountain bike destination.

I am claustrophobic and let Adam know and he was very understanding and encouraging. He definitely helped me feel at ease and I was able to finish the entire tour. Adam is very passionate about caving and it really shows. We've been in multiple caves and on tours so I wasn't sure if this would be anything special. It absolutely was and I was pleasantly surprised. There were a few activities we got to do that I haven't ever experienced before like playing "drums" on stalactites and "painting" on the wall with a flashlight. We learned a lot about the history of the cave and heard some interesting and fun stories. We also got to explore a little bit on our own here and there off to the sides of the path which my husband really enjoyed. The ladder part is at the end and it was a lot of fun and almost like an obstacle course. We had a great time here and I'm really glad we came!

The only thing I didn't like was there was no way to get all the way around it unless you could crawl up the flood control part, which was too steep for us.

It's too bad that the walk runs so close to Valencia Road, because -- and it's true even when you are standing within about 10 yards or so of the bank -- it's hard to hear the rushing water. Still, it is quite the beautiful sight when the water is flowing well. Great for a walk. For some quiet time. Or a quick meditation.

As always, in Arizona, you have to be aware of your surroundings. I imagine when it gets warmer, maybe snakes..... If you stay in the park proper, there's not as much risk for kids wander around.....also Some interesting sculptures are nearby The restrooms were clean and there were some nice picnic areas. Plus basketball courts. The parking area was clean and well appointed. I've seen the police and city park personnel on.golf carts every time i've been there.
