What a Find! What a…read morepleasant surprise! My wife and I were driving from Hilton Head to catch an early flight to Aruba and decided to spend the night at an airport hotel. We went looking for a casual place to grab dinner--and what a find! We split the whole fried flounder and a half-pound of hot steamed shrimp, and both were fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely top notch. The atmosphere is low-key and casual, which made the experience even better. Sometimes the best meals are the ones you stumble upon when you're not really looking--and this was definitely one of those! We'll definitely remember this place the next time we're in the area.

The televisions were on and a few people dining at the bar. I ordered the crab cake croissant with pimento cheese grits, a first for me and 6 charbroiled oysters on the half shell with grated Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. The crab cake was cooked well and a bit under seasoned. The grits were not as creamy as I'm accustomed and requested some butter that seems to've been forgotten. I added hot sauce, I bring my own, which kicked it up a bit... the oysters were on a bed of greens. All in all, the meal was underwhelming, the space a little small for the 3rd group that dined in, but kind staff.

Once seated everything went awesome, thanks to our server. I am so sorry I didn't get her name but she was truly what I expect of good staff. She sat us, provided menus , asked about drinks and the. Came back to see if we were ready to order. My friend had many questions, as did I, and she was spot on with her recommendations and providing her take on the different levels of spicy. I ordered the dungeness crab boil and my friend ordered the lunch menu fried shrimp with Cajun fries and coke slaw. The servings were huge for a lunch plate and my picky eater friend enjoyed everything! That's a big deal because she's really picky. I actually got a lot in my crab boil too! Two crab legs with lots of shrimp and sausage plus potatoes, a half ear of corn and 3 hard boiled eggs. Now the eggs were new to me, never had them in a seafood boil before. I got the mild original and it was delicious. It was so much I had to get a to go bag. I later ate a bit for dinner and with more of the seasoning soaked through it was even better! The restaurant is at the market place with plenty of parking and nice big booths. It even has a bar. We didn't get drinks but I could so see hanging out in the evening with a nice cool drink too. My only recommendation is for them to get a bell for the door so they know when guest arrive. We saw people enter and wait for someone to acknowledge them but after 5 minutes they left because I believe only one staff was there and they didn't know someone else arrived.
