The nail tech was rude. When the drill caught my skin, I reacted and he laughed and told me it was his finger not mine. He was very rough and my nails are still sore after almost a week. My nails are very thick and have rough surfaces. read more

This review is not for others at AP nails but for the guy (Mr. C) who did my nails today. For pedicure, first half of the time he was holding his phone and talking so was just pretending that he is massaging my foot with just one hand. Later, I told him not to cut my nails instead just file them for the shape. He only filed nails on the left foot, I told him to file nails on the right foot as well but he ignored. Later for manicure, he shaped my nails unevenly, applied patchy nail paint and hardly removed any dry skin around cuticles. Last step is to apply cream on the hands once nail paint is dried up but this guy ran away to attend other client. He should have completed his work or at least informed his co-worker to finish up my service instead he chose to ran away without speaking a word. I had to tell Hellen that he did not finish his work and later Hellen had to do the remaining service for me. On the other side, Hellen did mani and pedi both for my mom and as always she did an absolutely amazing job. read more

The Regular pedicure has very little massage, like 30 seconds of lotion spreading. I was so disappointed after a long day at work on my feet. The tech kept trying to have me upgrade because the regular pedicure apparently also didn't include callus removal. Every pedicure should include a decent massage at least. Not cool. Honestly super disappointed in this place. We had made a reservation for 3 the day before our friends wedding and had heard good things about this place. I had the younger man cut my toe nails way too short to the point of them actually causing me pain and some bleeding around my cuticles. If that wasnt bad enough he had piled all of my cuticles and nails on the top of my foot and then nugged his coworker and they both laughed at the apparent grossness of my cuticle pile. I have pincer nails which cause me a lot of pain and cause my cuticles to grow quickly so yes... I'm already aware and sensitive to this problem, however I take very very good care of my feet and hygiene. I almost walked out crying because of the embarrassment. They then proceeded to rush through my entire appointment because it started to get busy. I was asked to walk barefoot from the nail chair to wash my hands and then back to the manicure station without being offered flip flops or putting my sandals back on which just felt super gross. I dont suggest going here. Terrible terrible service. read more

Went here with my friends to get our nails done and the guy who did my friends told her she couldn't do long nails like she wanted and then did a terrible job on her set. They offered to redo it for her and were very rude during the process, to the point where the lady redoing them was giving us attitude and basically yelling at my friend for their mistakes. Even the redo wasn't great and they sent her home bleeding after the nicked her. They actually made my friend cry with how rude they were. I wish I could give a 0 out of 5 stars. read more

Went here for a shellac fill and pedi. Very friendly staff, everyone laughing and telling jokes. The pedi is so nice, they scrub you and actually message your legs and feet. I'm really picky about my nails but they got the shape down no problem. Prices are reasonable. Parking gets pretty packed since it has a strip mall location. I advise making an appointment as it gets pretty busy. read more

First time trying this salon as I love out of town and was visiting my boyfriend. This place is conveniently 5 minutes away from his home. The gentleman who did my nails was fantastic! Loved the color and the job he did on my gel manicure. The salon is super cute and very clean. The only down side is my gel polish started to rise and peel off a few days later. I got my nails done last Saturday and by yesterday almost all the gel polish is off. So sad because I had such a great experience here. read more

I have been going to AP nails in Bothell for 6 months. Tonight I had the worst pedicure in my life and I am in my 50's. I literally cried in the chair. The young man that did my pedicure cut my nails down past the nail bed and then cut them deep into the sides. My toes starting hurting and I was surprised they were not bleeding. Went he went to file them I told him to stop as it hurt so bad. Needless to say I walked out without the color as I felt if he painted them it would look hideous they way they were cut. I went to pay and the owner took $5 off. REALLY, I cried in the chair! I will NEVER go back. read more

Started coming here at the beginning of June 2021, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. I've tried the regular manicure and pedicure a few times, as well as gel manicure and pedicure, and I have had a fabulous experience every time! Clean, bright, and friendly, this spot is very inviting and the staff is always extremely friendly. I brought my mom with me as a walk in appointment on a busy Saturday and we had no wait, however I typically call to make an appointment as I like to always know exactly when my appointment will be to schedule it into my busy week. AP Nails also has a fantastic and extensive selection of nail colors to choose from, which is something I've felt was lacking with other nail spots in the area. Lastly, I have to comment on the menu of services which is really quite wonderful. I chose to do a silver pedicure with all the works when I had some more time in my day, and have opted for more basic treatments when I have been limited on time and also saved a bit on my treatments there. This is a first for me as I try not to give negative reviews but I think this one is warranted. Our first experience was good but it was due to one nice woman in the salon who appears to be a supervisor. We went three times. The second time she wasn't there and it was merely ok. I bring my 20 year old daughter who has high functioning autism. It's our Saturday ritual. Our second manicures were messy. The third time the supervisor wasn't there. There was no friendly treating and the woman filing my daughter was super rough and staring at the tv and cut my daughter fairly bad. My person who must not be trained proceeded to cut the sides of my big toe before I could say NO! I proceed to get ingrown toe nails on both sides with an infection over the next couple weeks. I'm very concerned after that experience if these people are licensed and trained properly. We won't be back but did find another salon in Bothell downtown that we like very much. A bit more expensive but no injuries. read more
