10/10! Just book…read morethem. Great guy. Great work. Always love supporting a family business. Very clear he takes pride in his job. Very fair price as well. Had the absolute pleasure of working with Drew. We moved in to a house with...let's say interesting...work done. We had a gas leak upon move in and a faulty gas fireplace that was not to code. The fireplace is double sided and the focal point as soon as you walk in. The main source of the leak was fixed but we were at a loss trying to get fireplace companies to help us remediate the lines to the fireplace. One of them recommended Hamblen & Sons and we couldn't be happier. He didn't tell us no or insist we decommission our fireplace. He was up to the challenge! He completely re-did the work all without the need for massive destruction to our walls or floor implied by another company. He was very communicative and let us know his thoughts on how to approach the tricky job, options as to what we could/should do, and recommendations for maintaining code/troubleshooting in the future. We no longer have to fear the seized valve or improper gas line PLUS our feature fireplace is now working!!!

After two of my next door neighbors had them replace their 30 year old furnaces I got to watch them in action. So I knew that I had to have them replace mine. They went above and beyond by putting a small door in the front to more easily access the filter. They also were considerably less expensive than other company's prices. And I learned a lot about how my furnace works. On top of that they installed and programmed a new thermostat. Friendly and knowledgeable! It was great experience!

He is knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issue and the repair process properly. Even after the job was done, they provided excellent post-installation support over the phone to answer a few follow-up questions I had. I will definitely work with them again!

CM Heating Review…read more We decided to go with CM Heating for several reasons. Their reviews online were very good. I talked to my neighbors to hear what their experience was and CM Heating name was brought up a couple times as a stand out company. The sales person Amber was very professional and gave us a ton of information. She was instantly responsive when I had questions. We got 3 bids for this job. I took all the information and used AI to compare the mountain of info to get its take in the bids. Cm Heating consistently had the edge over the others. The main reason was the warranty. If you are spending a fair amount of money, you need a good warranty. All said and done CM Heating was the winner Getting an install date was a breeze. All the detail work was handled by them. The office sent me the permits to print and post. Install Day I was notified of the time they would arrive and the guys were right on time Tim and Melvin sized up the job and jumped in at full speed. Melvin worked on the furnace Tim on the Heat Pump. These guys never stopped the entire time except when my wife brought them some home made chocolate chip cookies. I was very impressed with their performance. We had questions along the way and they provided answers immediately. Great trustworthy people. By the time they were done all the areas were spotless. Obviously I made the correct decision going with CM Heating and I would highly recommend them

When it stopped heating in Winter (thankfully, we have back-up propane), CM quoted us $3,200 for a thermal expansion valve (TXV) replacement. They explicitly said that while the parts were covered under warranty, the labor was not. We got a second opinion -- and while the part failed, the second company pointed out that we had a 10 year parts and labor warranty (he was easily able to get to this info, which means CM should have, too -- especially since they sold it to me). I've now called CM several times to inform them that they need to cover the repair, but I've been ghosted. I assume this is likely because they can charge a higher rate for labor on a customer-pay job than they can be paid by the warranty company and are hoping I'll go to another company, but I have no proof of that. As far as I'm concerned, they sold me the unit and the warranty -- and they can do the repair. Once the warranty is over? I'll never deal with CM again.
