This is the paper trail that led me to Tony at AP Electric. The friendly and very helpful Kali at Turner Florida Insurance referred me highly to an honest and friendly Jimmy Bennett, at Bennett Inspections, who inspected my home. Mr. Bennett referred me very highly to Tony at AP Electric . I called Tony and was given a noon appointment for the next day. Aware that I needed his services as soon as possible, Tony called at about 8am the next day saying that he had a cancellation and could be at my house in 15 minutes. Tony arrived on time and introduced himself, saying that he had talked to Mr. Bennett and was informed about my problem. Tony and his crew wasted no time and went to work. Well-within the hour, they corrected the problem. I asked what it would cost to restore the bathroom wall switch and overhead fan/light switch, as I am on a tight and very narrow U.S. Navy retirement pension and Social Security budget. Tony said that the cost is within the one hour "Service Trip," so there is no added cost (that is honesty!). Furthermore, Tony told me that he was giving me a veteran's discount, which greatly reduced my cost. This was a very generous act of kindness for which I thanked him. I think that Tony is truthful, of strong character, sincere, and gifted in his education of the electrical discipline of his craft. I think that his desire to be a leader and perform at his occupation to his very highest level is what drove him to study for and achieve his Master Electrician license. Tony is very friendly, easy for me to understand, and to believe his diagnosis of the problem, because he projects honesty in his words and demeanor. Irma took out our weather head. Tony not only got me rebuilt, ready to hook back up quickly (for a great hurricane discount), But stuck by my side until FPL got their poop in a group and got me back on the grid. FPL continually dropped the ball claiming I needed an inspection. Tony called me everyday to see if my power restored or not. This went on for about 5 days longer than necessary, due to the fact the permit and inspection were done and called in on Monday 9/18/17. I think by Friday the 22nd he was just as upset if not more about this than I was. Tony called me from the airport and said, I'll call Dennis (lead inspector for Rockledge), who called in the clearance of the inspection on the 18th, and FPL myself, AGAIN. Soon after there was a convoy of FPL bucket trucks in my street for a simple service hook up. Tony, Nathan and the guys at AP Electricians really give a S#!T. Tony emailed me less than an hour after I requested information from AP asking me to call him in order for him to get more information. I called and described my problem and he told me what he thought it was and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Greg and his helper arrived on time and found that Tony had made the right diagnosis on what the problem was. He went right to work and had it fixed in less than an hour. He also upgraded the light bulb after telling me about the new LED bulb. Greg was very personable and the charges were reasonable, including the military discount that Tony told me about and promised. The company CERTAINLY earned the 5 star review. We purchased an older home which needed extensive electrical work. Tony and his crew came to our rescue. They replaced much of the wiring in our home that needed replacement while working around a plumbing contractor and other work crews. While reviewing what work needed to be done, Tony made excellent suggestions as to the placement of new ceiling fixtures, fans, electrical switches that we had not thought about. They did an outstanding job and worked with us throughout the entire project. Very timely, professional, and courteous. Cannot say enough good things about Tony and his crew. AP was my second call after another highly rated electrician said they were booked for 2 weeks. Tony responded within the hour and sent his technician, Greg, out that same afternoon! I needed an outlet added in my bathroom and Greg finished it in less than an hour. He also left zero mess. I am very impressed!! I called late on a Monday to see if I could be seen in the next week or two. When I told them that one of my light switches would get really hot when turned on, they told me they'd be there at 8:30 the next morning. Despite a wild fire and the worst traffic in our area in 10 years, they still managed to make it 5 minutes early. I've been working on projects around the house here and there and came to some electrical work (in-wall audio, an ethernet drop, and a new outlet needed up high) that required to be fished through attic crawl space with little room to maneuver. The team was able to understand what I wanted and did a phenomenal job by identifying better routes and installation places that I had planned. BUT- Tony had guys out THREE times to fix the problem and was determined to get it done right. He DID NOT charge me for the additional visits.
