They give veterans discount A big clean laundry room (didn't use) It is close to interstate, so easy pull in then get back on road. Gas station across the street also with a subway. Sites are well taken care of & clean. We didn't really notice the interstate noise, but one of the local military jets few over rocked our world. No cable, but we knew that from the start. Office closes at 5 but she takes calls until 10. I called her at 9 pm with a WiFi issue and she promptly took care of it. The cabins i…read morebelieve are relatively new & they have full kitchens, full size refrigerators, 2 TV's, a small loft for the kids, large decks & a pull out sofa sleeper as well as a free shuttle service to the Big Texan Steakhouse on the hour starting at 4pm. Our Cabin had a great view of the Slug Bug Ranch right outside our rear windows which was an added bonus. The staff was quite friendly & the manager even gave us a tour of one of the Chuckwagons for rent for our next stay. All in all we couldn't have been happier with our 2 night stay & I guarantee next time we find ourselves in Amarillo we will gladly book the Chuckwagon or the Cabins again!

By far the worst RV park I have ever been to!…read more Our RV was overheating so we decided to park in the vacant lot across the street from the park to allow the engine/transmission to cool. (There was zero signage in the lot. Only exposed power wires). I was then subsequently illegally blocked into the parking lot by a gentleman who claimed to be the owner of "Big Texan RV Ranch" Andy. The individual refused to identify himself further and repeatedly demanded money from me in the form of cash. Andy then phoned for a worker from the park to block me into the spot. The worker from "Big Texan RV Ranch" then parked his truck on my front bumper damaging it. I had my wife and two kids in the RV at the time. The police were called and the individuals were told to leave by the police or face legal consequences. If I could give less than one star I would. Horrible place, nasty owner who likes to commit felonies. Stay far away from here! I am 100% DAV. This was my mistake because I did not read on the website that they are two separate businesses. This is about 90% full timers. Right when we drove in, I had regrets of making the reservation. Very dumpy residential RV park. The only bright spot was Annie the host. She was so sweet. I asked if there were any overnight guests and she said "a couple." The only reason we stayed is because first, we were already there and it was getting late and second, because Annie said she and her husband lived there 22 years and there are no problems. I would absolutely not stay here again but thank you to Annie for your kindness.

They are constantly walking through other peoples rented spaces day and night, not peaceful camping when your dog is constantly barking in your rv letting you know people are in the "rented space" like it's their yard too, Full timers let their dogs run free ALL the time to URINATE on everyone's camping stuff,(bbqs, chairs,hoses, landing legs,tires on trailer and vehicles, other peoples personal pet enclosures ) This is more work (now cleaning all dog urine off of everything) when getting packed up to leave .- Full timers find this amusing. The owners were very nice and accommodating, but the full timers running the "park" ruin this place. If rules are written for the RV PARK- EVERYONE should be expected to follow them. No exceptions!!!
