When a friend recently asked me if I knew of any good movers I could recommend, I immediately thought of Full House Moving! So I went back through my records and receipts to find their name and number. Then I rejoined Yelp because I realized you never know when you're gonna need some old info like I just did for my friend. So, I'm now making it a habit to stay active on here, tag places I've been to and write reviews. These guys were very careful with my stuff, arrived on time and they worked quickly and efficiently. Due to closing issues, I had to push my move date Back 2 days. He said he'd be able to do it in the afternoon and that he would be there between 2:00 and 3:00pm depending on how the job before mine went. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, and they didn't get to me until 6:00pm. They wanted to push it to the next day but I insisted we had to do it that day because literally all of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I ordered one truck and two movers for our two bedroom, one bath duplex. My fiance and I did a lot of moving before they even arrived, essentially just leaving the furniture for them and some boxes. Their attitude seemed Brusque but it was probably because they were just tired from however many moves they had that day. They wrapped most of my furniture carefully with blankets, but I must say I was not pleased with the way that they moved my grandfather clock. The second mover, Alex, said "well this is fragile" when looking at my clock. I was like yes that's why I hired Movers. They didn't even know you had to take the pendulum out of the clock when moving it. They refused to take my very small TV off of the wall, and told me they would have to charge extra for that which I have never heard before. That was frustrating. They made a dent in my baseboard and scratched a lot of paint in my newly painted residence, and then gave me attitude when I asked when they were going to fix it. He then begrudgingly said that he would send somebody over Saturday to fix it. That guy was nice and did an okay job. They worked very hard but I think it would have gone faster with three movers. It would have been nice to have a discount since they were over 3 hours late also. I'm not sure if I would use them again, but I'm glad that we are finally in our new place with the damage fixed (aside from the clock).

It was not submitted for the delivery building, despite the fact that we reminded you about it twice before the move. When we arrived, management confirmed they had never received it. We even tried to negotiate with management to see whether they would allow the move without the COI, but they understandably refused. Second, your movers arrived approximately 40 minutes late, not 15 minutes late. Their arrival time is documented by photographs as well as timestamped messages sent at the time. There was also no construction-related delay as described in your response. The primary issue at the delivery building was that the required COI had not been submitted, which prevented us from bringing our belongings into the building. Your description of what happened afterward is also inaccurate. No crew returned the next day. You told us that you had no movers available next day. The following days were the weekend. Your crew was then supposed to return on Monday but no one showed up. We were communicating directly with your movers, who told us they could not come because they did not have a truck. No crew came to the storage facility and no one was waiting there for an access code as you now claim. In fact, after all of this happened, you stopped responding to our messages entirely. What is most disappointing is not only the way this move was handled, but that instead of acknowledging what went wrong, your response attempts to shift responsibility to the customer and presents a version of events that directly contradicts the documented communications. He then claimed the damage could not have been caused by tape because they "don't use tape," which is completely untrue. The evidence is obvious: they did use tape, and when it was removed, it peeled the paint off my furniture and left sticky residue all over the metal parts of my bed and my modern furniture. I hired this company based on their positive reviews, but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Poor handling of furniture and even worse customer service.

We were moving out of a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in FL into a another 2BR 2BA in TX and he routinely followed up with us to make sure everything was on schedule. Quotation process was fair and fast. No issues with the time. He quoted us for 3 hours and it literally was only a 3 hour move. There'a a mandatory truck fee that we had to pay even though we didn't need it, but that's standard for quotes we saw from other movers in the area. As for the moving guys we had, Ken and Marvin, they were great! We moved in the middle of the pandemic and I didn't have to ask them to wear masks. I also wore a mask during the entire day for everyone's safety. No one wants to move with the current pandemic but we made the most of it! They offered to pack boxes for us but we had already packed them. We did need help in deassembling a platform storage bed with hydraulic pumps. We had to get creative to ensure it was properly tied down when loading into the POD container otherwise the hydraulic pumps would spring open. They also offered moving blankets but we had bought our own considering they were going into the POD which would then be transported from West Palm Beach, FL to Houston. Ken is very good organizationally and could have been a master tetris player. He was able to consolidate everything nearly into one POD container so we almost didn't even need additional half sized one we ordered. Ken and Marvin listened to me and obliged my requests to move furniture pieces around inside the POD and were very considerate and understanding of the delicate family antique furniture. I would highly recommend them. They got the job done and did it well!
