Danielle Keith, who left a glowing comment about this facility's cleanliness, is actually the area manager, not a client. That seems suspicious. As many are aware, this company has a history of credibility issues and deceptive business practices. We informed them in February that my son wouldn't be renewing his membership. The Forney GM assured my son that she had removed him from auto-renewal and he was all set. However, after numerous voicemails and a frustrating wait for a callback, she told me that she never said that and would have required a form to be filled out. Despite attempts to contact the GM and Dani Keith on May 6th, May 20th, June 3rd, June 17th, and today, July 1st, his account is still being charged five months later. The GM claimed she has been unavailable for the past month, leaving no one to cancel memberships. It's no surprise that BANDON HOLDINGS, LLC, located at 750 N SAINT PAUL ST STE 250 C/O PMB 59843, DALLAS, TX 75201, has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Jeff Kiecke, a founding member and CEO, should be aware of this issue. When I asked the GM for Dani Keith's phone number, only her email address, Daniel.keith@anytimefitness.com. Don't trust them. To join is a breeze-to cancel is an act of Congress. This is true even if you are month-to-month. I'm so upset with the run around I have received with the biller-ABC Fitness and their vendor-Anytime Fitness. I will spare you the poor customer service from both ends. I will share that I spoke to the manager at the Forney location about canceling my membership over the phone. He gave me their hours which on Friday is 5:00 pm. I spoke to him at 4:30 pm. I arrive at 4:42 to see a gentlemen (him) get into his yellow Dodge (I will spare the other color) with gym bag in hand. He looked right at me. I did not appear to be going to workout nor did I have a bag in my hand. When I looked at him, he appeared to be walking back to the building. I didn't pay it much. I thought to myself, "Surely there is someone who can help me inside." That would be a no. After waiting ten minutes outside his office, I learned from the trainer he should be around. He looked for him and of course he was not there. He left early and did not even communicate it to the trainer. The manager left before 5:00 after telling me how long they would be open. I will make an attempt to try this again. I advise to stay away from fitness centers who use the trick of inconvenience to keep you locked in a membership. It's a shame with the use of technology that fitness centers are requiring people to come in to cancel. Only to arrive and "Management" leaves before the communicated time. This is the second fitness center I have used that uses this type of trickery to lock-in clients. It is a poor practice for professionals. Moved to Forney, I went to this gym ONE time, tried to cancel my membership on the 4th day. Told me they couldn't do it. That I had to pay my entire year contract. Been trying to pay my entire years contract for about 2 weeks now. Have yet to be able to do that. Manager sends me to an 800 number, 800 number sends me back to the manager. TERRIBLE service. So frustrating for companies to TRAP clients into contracts. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I've been a member here for 10 years. It's been a great gym. I've moved and I continue to train at this specific gym because of the multifunctional room with free weights in the back. Everyone has always been extremely friendly and welcoming until recently. There is a new trainer who is extremely unprofessional and rude. I've had multiple issues with this new female trainer. First instance I was jump roping with headphones on 14 minutes into my jump roping. She stands in front of me and is talking. I can't hear with my headphones and clearly I'm jump roping. I had to stop and ask what she wanted. She said we have a group training so you need to move. I look around and they have ran everyone out of the room. There was equipment everywhere for a class of 7 people including the trainer. A free 30 minute class at that. I've been training for 45 minutes. I replied okay, I'm just right here. With a box and a bench. She said no you need to move. I've NEVER been to a gym where trainers and members can't work around each other. I've trained with trainers in groups at this gym for years. We are all courteous and helpful. That is how real gym culture is, not rude and an attempt to be intimidating. I am not the only one who has had this issue. Another member she told him before you get warmed up (he was on a squat rack) you need to scoot it on down, we need this space. I understand training in groups, this isn't new. This particular trainer is new and refuses to be considerate towards members training. I have spoke to Chase about this but this is happening on Saturday when Management isn't there. Today, she continued to ramble on about how entitled some people feel etc etc. Anytime has always been a welcoming place. This is not welcoming and disappointing after being a member for 10 years. terrible gym, would say terrible customer service but there would have to actually be customer service for it to be bad this place have absolutely none. walked into cancel my membership the white lady who's been running the front told me she would take me off auto renewal. 2 months and about 20 left messages later i've been billed almost $100 in membership fees. after finally getting ahold of the office the mgr told me she would have never said that and would've made me fill out a form which is a complete lie. read more

Love this gym. I followed my trainer Lana over here from my previous gym and ive enjoyed it very much.The equipment is replaced when needed and its usually pretty clean.I would recommend this location and especially Lana if you want an awesome trainer who dedicates herself to your fitness goals. In 2008 i weighed 230 lbs and took 11 medications including insulin.Today im 160 and take no meds at all. read more

sSince the new manager Mary has started things have changed for the better. First time I've ever seen a manager holding any kind of tool and fixing machines. All of the machines have been fixed since she started, the atmosphere is friendly, and she is hilarious. People who have signed up in the beginning of the year have continued to come regularly as she makes everyone feel welcome. The gym is always spotless--I've even seen her coming in on the weekends to clean. Everyone is in a good mood and thankfully things have changed for the better. I have never felt this comfortable at a gym before. If you have gym anxiety like I do this is the place to go. She has introduced me to other new members so we can meet each other and continue to work at our goals. read more

It use to be top notch now there's days it extremely hot. But it has good machines that's the reason I still go from time to time.

This gym is disgusting. They don't clean anything at all so there's old sweat and dirt building up everywhere on machines. There's actually an employee that sweats heavily on the stair masters and leave it dripping sweat. No one wants to use that machine after that. I don't plan on renewing my membership. read more

What I do like about this place was that it was small and not crowded. I found it funny there was no flat bench available. They did have dumbbells up to 125lbs and in the 2nd half of the gym there looks like a cross fit area, filled with Olympic rings, monster truck tires, resistance training area and a step climber. I liked the bathrooms slot, pays respect to privacy and one even had a shower. I would visit again. I also liked TV's on the treadmills and ellipticals They are open 247. read more

Don't do it whatever you do run, the lady told me I didn't have to sign a contract and that it was month to month, after informing her we were getting married in 5 months we went the first 2 days and received emails about a 2 year contract and kept trying to call even went up there to cancel and could never get intouch with her! So we dropped the key fob off and never looked making! And with the death of my daughter and a wedding I didn't think to much about it! Now I have a collection on my credit for over $1,300 and when speaking to the collection agency they dont want to hear it they just want a payment biggest regret was trusting that lady when all she cared about was faking a contract for us! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! ANYTIME FITNESS at any location is the worst gym to sign a member ship with. There are no cancellation policies once a person signs a two-year agreement/contract. The only way to end your contract is to pay the remainder of the two-year contract. The Anytime Fitness in Forney is not kept clean, and the facility is not well maintained. I would not recommend this place to others. I would not recommend Anytime Fitness to anyone. read more

They have machines as well as free weights. So far the same as any other gym. This location differs since they have various types of cardio options, battle ropes, trax system, medicine balls, showers, etc. The management is responsive to suggestions from the members. The staff is friendly and helpful with any questions you might have regarding the use of any of the equipment. It is a nice place to get fit. read more

This Anytime is ran very poorly! Great big gym, but has been under bad management for years now! The current manager, plus the others previously, have all been very lazy and can't seem to get anything done. They sit around in the office playing on their phones or the computer, knowing that the gym needs to be picked up. They will sit and watch and wait for the cleaning lady to come and take care of it everything. All in all the whole staff is very lazy and will only clean if deemed absolutely necessary! There is one thing to "overlook" some stuff, but this is like the blind leading the blind! The trash cans are always full, the wipe dispensers to wipe down equipment are always empty, or not accessible, there's weights that have been broken for years now that would need only the simplest of adjustments and tacky signs up everywhere. I'm all for promoting from within, but it's going to take a whole restructuring if you ever want this location to stay ahead of its competition, like it once did! read more

I have been a member for quite some time now. I fell in love with this gym. Its spacious, great people, was kept clean, and now sadly to say it has just gone downhill the last year. You now walk into a gym that doesn't stay clean, trash cans always full, dust balls everywhere, takes forever for equipment to be prepared, weights everywhere, and so many kids join now and let's just say going into the bathroom once they have walked out is disgusting. Pee is always on the toilets. The only time that gym is spotless is when the cleaning crew comes. They're so friendly and do a great job. However the actual staff they have in the office isn't the same. I think the staff should take more pride in their job and take care of the gym. It can be dirty and the girl in the office just sits on her phone and never bother straightening anything up yet alone picking up a broom. Members are no longer greeted anymore, or they don't make themselves known to the members. It is definitely a completely different gym. Brian the manager has always been friendly and nice and as he comes to visit and most of the time ends up cleaning himself. All around customer service at this location just isn't what it should be. We either drive to heath (staff is great and super clean) or we don't go. We are now looking into more gyms close to us. I feel like if the staff took more pride in the gym so would the members as well. read more

A good gym that I just started going to. Sometimes cleaning towels are left in the cup holders by other gym goers but hardly the fault of the gym itself. Selina, one of the personal trainers, is very delightful and willing to help and work around your schedule--and an excellent personal trainer at that. I keep at it and go here because of her. Honestly not even deserving of 1 star. To start out I never signed a membership agreement with this place. But somehow I got past due notices in the mail from them? Then I try to get someone on the phone to talk to someone about removing my name and membership account out of their system and probably called 100+ times with no answer. I work in customer service so this is a big slap in the face to me. So I wrote a letter,email,and called. explaining my situation and my notice to cancel this membership in fear that if I didn't it would be added to my credit report negatively. I then called multiple times again and finally got a female manager on the phone who told me she would be removing my membership from their system and she would take the past due amount off she just had to get it approved. Two days later she calls me to tell me it's taken care of. Then yesterday I take a look at my credit report and there it is a 1,000 derogatory mark on my credit report. Don't even bother getting a membership at this place. I'm hoping that whoever sees this can actually do the right thing and help me out. I have a very sour taste in my mouth. read more

I wouldn't go here if I were you, and DEFINITELY don't sign a contract. It is a huge pain to cancel if you need to. I had to have an unforeseen surgery in March and moved in June so I've been paying for a membership that I haven't used recently. When I tried to cancel, no one would pick up my phone calls. Finally, I sent an E-mail and got a response saying I can't live within 25 miles of any of these gyms, I have to pay $50, and I have to submit numerous documents to cancel. I've been a member at Gold's Gym, LA Fitness, and even Lifetime Fitness, and I have NEVER had this much trouble cancelling. Plus, they overcharge big time here. There's a huge lack of amenities as compared to other gyms, and they charge the same or more. Keep your options open, look around, and find a staff that cares. Don't waste your time and money. read more

It is a great place to work out. This gym has everything you need to work out every part of your body. The only thing I have noticed is how crowded the treadmills can be at times. I know there's not much they can do about that, but it would be nice to have some more. The staff is great and this gym will be my home for a while! read more

I love being able to go to gym at any hour! The gym is a tad small, but it's not overwhelming even during busy hours. Staff are great!

The gym is large enough you will not feel crowded, I usually go around mid afternoon, always clean, the staff takes good care of the equipment and keep them in top shape. Also I love the sanitary wipes posted around to clean up before/after using machines. Great place, good price. read more

I loved the gym and the people and used it regularly for over a year but when I tried to cancel they made me jump through a bunch of hoops. First they said just freeze it for ninety days and then call back. I did that, but apparently that was not enough. They started charging me again and then said I had to come in and fill out paperwork, but it was a 30 day cancellation fee. I wish they had been up front with me, they have ruined a good experience and I can no longer trust sending my friends there. read more

This gym is small, I cant imagine how crowded it gets during prime time. I used to go to this gym everyday from around 8pm-2am and it was GREAT becaue no one was ever there. I dont really like that anyone can get in with a key tag and there isnt staff during the laste hours to keep watch of whats going on. I am still fairly new to this gym but I am really liking it so far. I typically go early in the morning or after dinner. I would say it is medium in size so they have a little bit of everything but much more intimate than say a 24 Hour Fitness. Overall, the gym is easy to navigate in and around when doing weights, etc. The showers/rest rooms are clean as well. They have two tanning rooms although I have not seen anyone using them as of yet but it isn't summer so maybe that is why. I've noticed a lot of "regulars" and there is a good mix of young, old, couples, singles of all fitness levels working out there. My limited interaction with the staff has been all good although I typically don't see them during the times I go. I love that there is 24 hour access making it easy to get a work out in during what ever time is convenient for me. The location is good. I can make a run to Chick-Fil-A or Kroger/Aldi for a quick meal or grocery pick up after a work out. Great value for the monthly membership fee of less than $50.00. read more
