Schedule my appt online wks in advance for Saturday @ 10, July 27. Not knowing where it was I got to the mall at 940 and after 10 minutes found them. Made sure I came with freshly clean wet hair. 0950 employee arrived & immediately was preparing for the day. Greeted her and informed her I have appt.. She said nothing and had this look like she was not happy to be at work. Pray she was not going to braid my hair. 1010 another employee arrived & she was helping to get the stand ready for the day. Internet not working. Luckily for me I print my proof of my appt and had picture of how I wanted my hair done. By 1020 braiding started. Thank goodness it was not the lady whom was opening the stand attending to me. While employee attending to me the phone kept on ringing so she stop to answer by the 4th time the employee attending to me asked her coworker to answer since she was wrapping up & she ignored her. She didn't talk to just completely ignored her. I commend the person braiding my hair she balanced answering phone, customer service, braiding my hair & dealing with her coworker ignorance. Finished close to 12 would have been done sooner but late start mixed with answering phone. I was pleased. Braids lasted me from July 27 until Aug 5th. Received plenty of compliments & referred people. Highly recommend. Wish I got employees names. 4 star because of the employee who opened the stand appear bother she had to work and no sense of team ignoring her coworker & never answering the phone. read more

I requested an appointment a week in advance for Armina at 10am for these pancake braids I saw from a reference picture. I was really glad that she was able to accommodate for me by coming in on a Saturday morning! She is such sweet and easy person to talk to. I also really appreciated that she took her time to make my parting and braids look super clean! The time went by so fast, I didn't realize 30 mins had already passed. I had a baby shower and a concert to go to in the same day and my braids stayed in place the whole day! Not even a fly away from my braid was out of place! My braid also felt super light weight. This place is good for the value. I got the "boxer braids with extension" which are also known as kanekalon braids. I was able to get 2 colors for $52 and it only took one hour to complete. I have had kanekalon braids done before that came out better than these, but they also cost $85 and took 2.5 hours to do. These were good enough for me to save money. They didn't dip them in boiling water at the end which makes them less stiff and less likely to fray, so I ended up dipping them myself when I got home. You can look up how on YouTube. read more

Got some braids done for a campout music festival and they held up great through the dancing, humidity and sleeping on them. They started to loosen and frizz up on day 3, but I popped in a couple bobby pins in, and they were good to go. I definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to keep their hair out of their face and have a fun look for a few days. Came to Anya Braid Bar to get braids for Coachelllyyaaaaaaaa.. I wish I could remember which lady did my hair because it came out so nice! She was so super sweet and patient. I did a dutch braid and added extensions for thickness/length. I got compliments all weekend long and didn't have the hassle of fixing my hair when I woke up. I must say though, if you're planning on keeping your braids for more than 2 days, goodluck! They got annoying after a while and they started to open up (the extensions are not real hair).
