I've been a Lab Corp patient for years, but this was my first visit to this location…read more I had a blood draw nearly a month ago for routine bloodwork and still don't have results because of employee error. The woman doing my draw struggled a lot with the computer and trying to get everything right before taking me back on the day of the draw. Her dismissive coworker ignored her questions and instead was focused on her personal cell phone. Where is the management and coaching? I then got an email stating my insurance wasn't connected to my sample (despite giving the card and registering on the day of draw). I could not connect it online because the sample number is not connected to my name and existing Lab Corp account. I've called and left FOUR voicemails. NO call back. My doctor's office says the order is still "awaiting sample". The website has a specific page to give feedback on your visit, but this location's zip is too long so it throws an error message. I'm leaving a review here to warn others- It's been a month and I still have no results. I have to leave work today to drive over and hopefully get this fixed face to face, but I would have been better off going anywhere but to this Labcorp location for my bloodwork.

There is one specifically who does a lot of the computer stuff and takes the patients back she is so so so sweet and gentle when taking blood. I appreciate her a bunch. I really hope that the management that staffs this building can see that they need to add just one more person. Maybe a constant person who does the paperwork. Because there is no way these women can do it all and have speedy service every single time. I had difficulties with my paperwork and if there was a consistent person at the desk it would help with communication amongst the staff and keep the patients in an organized order. There was also a couple who waited for about an hour when other walks in's were taken before them, and I 100% believe one extra person would help this. I want to emphasize that I think the current staff is doing the best they can with their resources, hence the 5 stars but as far as management is concerned you guys need to do better with staffing.

Very user friendly operation if you're tech savvy. Almost everything is done online; no phone calls…read more or receptionists. They'll text you, send QRC's and you use a kiosk to check in. They're quick, usually pretty friendly and they do a very brisk business, as one would expect for a huge lab company. I've always gotten results in 24 hours or less. This place is on Belcher in a medical plaza just south of Sunset Point. It's kinda secluded and hidden from the road behind a row of big trees, so go slowly as you get near. Very barren, sterile waiting area, which no longer has a receptionist ever since the Rona came and went. Go to the kiosk, scan the QC code (they email it with a reminder), your ID, your insurance card. They'll also send texts and notifications to your phone if U enable them. As I said, if you're not tech savvy then you may be at a handicap. A lot of the older generation that comes here seems to get stumped at the kiosk, so bring your patience or just allow 'em to text you; EZ as anything that way!

After checking in, I just had to take a seat and wait to be called in order of appointment times. Fortunately, a few patients didn't show up, so the phlebotomist was able to call me back about 20 minutes ahead of schedule. She was thorough in reviewing the type of testing I was having done and even informed me about the expected lab turnaround time. Despite usually being a difficult stick, the blood draw went much smoother than I anticipated. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the quality of care provided was solid.

Sonia represents the best of professional healthcare service. She is incredibly skilled, efficient, and clearly takes pride in her work. If you are someone who gets nervous about blood draws, I strongly encourage you to ask for her. She was quick, ensuring the process was virtually painless, and had a wonderfully calming and kind demeanor throughout. It's rare to encounter someone who is both technically proficient and genuinely patient and friendly. She made what is often a stressful appointment quick and easy. The worst lab at Mease countryside. The phlebotomists weren't competent in doing there jobs…read more Treated me awful. Took three people to stick me and I never had problems with anybody sticking me ever. One of the phlebotomist pulled the needle without putting any gauze over the needle. I told the third one to go in my hand because I was tired of being stuck and he got it. It's pretty bad you gotta tell a phlebotomist where to stick you at ! My arm is very sore and black and blue. The phlebotomists need to go back into training and learn to treat patients with care !

It is very easy to obtain a date and time to schedule an appointment via the BayCare portal. Walk-in clients can also avail themselves to their services. Reminders are sent by the staff as well. Copies of the lab reports are sent to the requesting physician, and copies can be obtained on your own BayCare portal. The quality of care is awesome! I highly recommend BayCare Laboratories.

My husband went here for a CT scan. We usually do not have an issue. He requested a copy of the…read moredisc. They told him that they could not give him the disc as it is not burned at this site. He was fine with this and would come back as he needed it for an appointment coming up. When he took it to the appointment he found that the disc was blank only had the prescription and the report no film. He called BayCare and they said that this may of happened but it could have been the doctor's fault if he did not know how to get into the disc. They told him he has to wait 3 business days and has to drive and pick up another disc. Definitely need to work toward ensuring discs work before giving them to patients as this is a large inconvenient for patients who live 30 minutes plus to pick them up again.
