They're quick, usually pretty friendly and they do a very brisk business, as one would expect for a huge lab company. I've always gotten results in 24 hours or less. This place is on Belcher in a medical plaza just south of Sunset Point. It's kinda secluded and hidden from the road behind a row of big trees, so go slowly as you get near. Very barren, sterile waiting area, which no longer has a receptionist ever since the Rona came and went. Go to the kiosk, scan the QC code (they email it with a reminder), your ID, your insurance card. They'll also send texts and notifications to your phone if U enable them. As I said, if you're not tech savvy then you may be at a handicap. A lot of the older generation that comes here seems to get stumped at the kiosk, so bring your patience or just allow 'em to text you; EZ as anything that way!

It's not as busy as most, so it's really a pleasure to go there. If you wish you can make an appointment at your convenience, so you won't have any waiting. I just walked in around 10 o'clock on a Wednesday morning for fasting blood work and waited 15 minutes until my blood was drawn. The phlebotomists at this location have a lot of experience, and have a great touch. The location of this PSC, or draw station, is at the very end of Jeffords Street in Clearwater. Past the hospital and all the other buildings at the Morton Plant campus. Last building on the right, before the intercoastal waterway. Pro Tip: When having fasting blood drawn anywhere, try not to go on a Monday or Tuesday morning at 7:00 or 8:00 am. No matter where you go you'll have a long wait. Also for any blood that's not fasting, try to go in the afternoon, you'll have much shorter wait times.

They answered all my questions and got me on the way to healing! I recieved a follow up call the next day which was very reassuring. When my study report was available the next day, I received a call from the same practitioner who walked through the results and confirmed the treatment plan from my visit. So, I took my disabled son to this LabCorp location today for some routine bloodwork (2 different orders) and the two ladies were phenomenal. His veins are ALWAYS hiding and uncooperative, and with sensory processing and anxiety it can always be a big challenge. Giedre took her time and was very patient, and when she didn't easily find his vein, she went ahead and got the smaller butterfly needle to assist. She was able to get it on the first try, and we are so grateful! Helita was the other lady there at the time and was extremely welcoming and helpful in striking up a conversation with my son to take his mind off of getting the blood draw. There is one specifically who does a lot of the computer stuff and takes the patients back she is so so so sweet and gentle when taking blood. I appreciate her a bunch. I really hope that the management that staffs this building can see that they need to add just one more person. Maybe a constant person who does the paperwork. Because there is no way these women can do it all and have speedy service every single time. I had difficulties with my paperwork and if there was a consistent person at the desk it would help with communication amongst the staff and keep the patients in an organized order. There was also a couple who waited for about an hour when other walks in's were taken before them, and I 100% believe one extra person would help this. I want to emphasize that I think the current staff is doing the best they can with their resources, hence the 5 stars but as far as management is concerned you guys need to do better with staffing.

I've been a Lab Corp patient for years, but this was my first visit to this location…read more I had a blood draw nearly a month ago for routine bloodwork and still don't have results because of employee error. The woman doing my draw struggled a lot with the computer and trying to get everything right before taking me back on the day of the draw. Her dismissive coworker ignored her questions and instead was focused on her personal cell phone. Where is the management and coaching? I then got an email stating my insurance wasn't connected to my sample (despite giving the card and registering on the day of draw). I could not connect it online because the sample number is not connected to my name and existing Lab Corp account. I've called and left FOUR voicemails. NO call back. My doctor's office says the order is still "awaiting sample". The website has a specific page to give feedback on your visit, but this location's zip is too long so it throws an error message. I'm leaving a review here to warn others- It's been a month and I still have no results. I have to leave work today to drive over and hopefully get this fixed face to face, but I would have been better off going anywhere but to this Labcorp location for my bloodwork.

I had seen well over 30 different doctors and expressed to several of them that I'd felt like part of my health issues was my thyroid and I'd been exhibiting all the symptoms of hypothyroidism. None of them listened. They'd run tests and tell me that I'm fine. Even the Chief of Endocrinology at USF, a Harvard grad, told me I was a medical anomaly, that he couldn't do anything more to help me and sent me on my way. Dr. Barzey was the first doctor that made me like my complaints weren't being views as complaining and actually listened to me. After one visit and some testing, BOOM. Diagnosed with primary hypothyroid disease. And ironically enough, I've since gone back and looked through all my labs from 2017 up until I was diagnosed, and my thyroid labs had been consistently tanked. T4, T3 and TSH were all "normal" but only barely. I feel like any doctor who saw that all my labs were crazy low-normal should've done something to help me. The whole way lab testing is done where they take the lowest of the low and the highest of the high and if you're somewhere in between, you're normal.. that's gotta go in my opinion. It's keep so many chronically ill people undiagnosed and hopeless. I'd previously rated this clinic at 3 stars because while Dr. Barzey is phenomenal, the front desk staff was always extremely rude and treated me as if I were inconveniencing them when calling in or checking in and out for appointments. Their behavior was so bad that mid last year, I actually started having the nurse practitioner who I see for my hormones at a different clinic take over my thyroid maintenance since she did both. I was recently diagnosed with low blood pressure and the cardiologist that diagnosed me referred me to an endocrinologist. My hormone NP was honest in that she had no clue. So I thought about my amazing experience with Dr. Barzey and knew that if anyone can diagnose what's going on, it's her.. so I had my first appointment with her in over a year just recently. And I've gotta say, I was REALLY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. All the front desk staff are the same, but they're all so nice, helpful and well, enjoyable. So I'll definitely continue coming back now. I'm really glad that issue was fixed cause Dr. Barzey is so amazing. And I never wanted to stop seeing her. I just felt so awful already with my health, that the frustration I was experiencing with the front desk previously wasn't worth it to me then. But even if they were still rude, Dr. Barzey is definitely worth dealing with this or that in order to see. Thank you SO MUCH DR. BARZEY.
