But still it was like taking a shot in the dark but boy let me tell you I hit the Bulls Eye when I hired Miss Shannon and her crew to do a Friday night low country boil for a bunch of out of town guest. I wanted them to have a taste of the low country while visiting Savannah. I also just wanted to enjoy my guest and not have to worry about a thing. The pastries were fresh, moist and memorable. Of course I had to ask the service desk who supplies them. I found out they were from The Sugaree, so I had to stop by on my way home to see what else they had on the menu. So I walk into The Sugaree and not only do they have pastries, there's a whole dining room, a full menu with breakfast bite, specialty sandwiches, fresh bread, and so much more. I ordered a cinnamon roll to go. It was so delicious. The Sugaree is a hidden gem, tucked away, serving up deliciousness.

I am a big fan of their crab cakes and their ribs. They have a pretty good smorgasbord of food, plenty of salads and meats and seafood selections. There's really no dining in, you either get catering or get food to go. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I never have to wait in line either, and they have really great lunch and dinner specials. I'd much rather get a meal from Steve Brown's than go through a drive through fast food place. His food will keep you full for hours.
