Unbelievable work he has done to my Range Rover's headliner! It was the best I've seen; he made my car looked so new inside! What an amazing transformation! Juan was such a very pleasant, nice guy, he was very kind to me. I was looking for a reasonable rate & he was very open to negotiation. Lowest rate I've encountered! Great work! read more

I got 3 quotes to reupholster our couch. Decided the 30 year old couch was higher quality than new ones that are imported. Juan provided a reasonable price and offered free pick up and delivery, and to repair one of the seat supports. He has many books of fabrics to choose from and after an hour of searching i picked a fabric. The couch was ready days before it was expected. What a difference! Juan did a perfect job! We look forward to 30 more years with this piece of furniture! Thank you Juan! read more

After 20 years of daily use my Morris chair's seat cushion broke. As I later discovered, the seat cushion covers heavy-duty steel springs that are attached to a narrow wooden frame that finally cracked. Stickley offers replacement cushions that have to be special ordered as a set, and they're pretty pricey. Luckily, I saw the great reviews for Antunez Upholstery on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Juan did a great job matching the original as much as possible and the chair looks great again. I highly recommend them! read more

I am grateful for Atunez Upholstery for their incredible work on repairing our very old double Bob stroller. This stroller holds so much sentimental value to our family, and we were worried it would be too difficult to fix. I took it to two other tailors that refused. But Atunez Upholstery repaired the seats for us right on the spot in 15 minutes! The quality of the work is exceptional, and they truly exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't have known it was repaired! We are beyond grateful for Juan restoring our cherished stroller. Thank you! Side note: their storefront is in the alley in between Washington blvd and Stater brothers. read more

Short Version: Antunez is an ultra professional who takes incredible pride in his work. He will not cut corners or do anything he doesn't think is the right right way to do it. Very respectable. A man of his word and awesome to deal with. I can't recommend him enough. Longer version: I live locally in Pasadena and needed someone I could trust to help me customize the interior of my Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. I initially stopped by Antunez Upholstery when I wanted help converting some tan "leather" knee bolsters in my car. He refused, told me why it wasn't a good idea and he doesn't half ass anything and sent me on my way. I knew then he was legit. When it came time to reupholster my seats, I went back and he discussed what I wanted and he gave me a quote. A very fair quote. Not cheap but not absurdly high either. One main thing was I didn't want to leave my seats and have them just sit there for weeks and weeks until the job was done. This is how most places work. Antunez was in the same page and he told me to come back in month and he would knock it would in a week or less. I left a deposit and he kept his word and delivered an amazing final product in time and on budget as promised. I've included some photos of the finished product but I have a much more thorough post on an Alfa Romeo forum that you can check out for more pics. https://www.alfabb.com/threads/my-new-custom-interior-for-my-91-spider-veloce-with-pics.744346/ read more

I'm stunned at how gorgeous my cushions turned out. Juan was great! He was super responsive with my Yelp quote request and asked me to bring in one of our dining chairs so he could evaluate the necessary repairs and show us sample fabrics for the chair covers. It took about a week and a half to get the job done from dropping off one chair for fabric quantity measurement, to ordering the fabric, and reupholstering all 7 chairs. Juan was very professional and takes pride in high quality work. Pricing wasn't the cheapest, but given all of the positive reviews, we decided that spending a little more to get a quality product would be better than going cheap and being unhappy with the end results. While at the shop, I saw Juan also working on sofa cushions and car seats (driver & passenger front seats). We're very happy with our reupholstered chairs! read more

Juan, did an excellent job reupholstering my Stickley Morris chair. He picked it up and delivered it. Turn around was only a few day.

I am so happy with the work from Antunez Upholstery. Juan repaired (springs beneath the seat had blown out) and recovered a vintage chair my mom gave me. It was quality workmanship and completed in the time frame he quoted. To top it off, Juan repaired and reupholstered my chair for the price another upholsterer quoted for only repair (no reupholstery). So the value was A+++. I highly recommend Juan for his professionalism, quality work, and value. And the cherry on top is that he makes it all very pleasant and accommodating. read more

Reached out to upholster an older couch and they were very accommodating. If you need a place to get your leather work done, Antunez Upholstery is the place to go to. I inquired about a leather replacement cover I purchased online and it was so difficult for me to do it alone since I had no experience doing such work. Antunez got in contact with me within minutes and told me that he would keep his gate open if I told him I would come and drop off the material that needed work. His work made this look seamless as possible and the one thing that really stood out was that he was so accommodating about when I could pick up and allowed me to pickup past opening hours. We had 2 couches with odd shaped cushions, could not buy them online or in any store. I received a bunch of estimates with yelp and Antunez was by far the best. We took 8 dining room chairs to Juan. They had great structure but the fabric was old and stained. Juan did an incredible transformation with new cushioning, upholstery and footings. My car's headliner glue dried out, so the headliner sagged. (The car is out in the southern California sun all day, every day.) Repair involves removing and reinstalling the headliner around all the tricky parts of the interior car ceiling. My car dealer's cost quote was a small fortune, but Juan did it for 75% less and it was perfectly done and on-time. The new glue fumes dissipated pretty quickly, and it looks as good as new. Juan did a very good job on reupholstering our dining chairs. He's professional, and the whole process from start to finish was flawless.

Redid the headliner for my Range Rover. Nice guy. I'll be using them for the interior in my vw golf.

First, my Ethan Allen 1970 sofa that Antunez reupholstered looks amazing. Pattern match-spot on. Second , now my Miata MX5 seats look amazing! Antunez has fabric swatches to select from that are so soft and dense ,lovely quality at a price that didn't exceed my mental number. On top of all that when I came to get my car the interior was BEAUTIFUL. I love my car, but I have never made it look so great. Zero dust, immaculate. He also put on the new soft top for me. All these services without keeping my car for a week! Anything made of fabric and foam and machinery, I think Antunez can handle it adroitly! read more

When I stumbled onto this place during my research, I thought it was too good to be true. The quote was half of the place of the other two companies I researched and it is 10 minutes away versus an hour. On top of that the owner offered to pick it up and drop it off for free of charge as opposed to $300 for delivery fee. In the end, I paid half the price and the quality was excellent. I'm glad I got my sling chair reupholstered instead of tossing it out and buy a new one which would've cost me close to $1000. I highly recommend this company which I don't do too often because I am very particular about cost, service and quality. Two thumbs up PS. His words were golden. It was delivered a day before promised which is awfully rare to find nowadays. read more

I had an incredible experience here! Juan responded within a few minutes of my initial inquiry. He has full transparency and tells you the quote early on. Then I brought my vehicle over to get samples of leather to replace my seat, left a deposit, and came back a few days later for the actual repair. The repair was completed within the same day. Juan's craftsmanship is excellent and you can't tell I changed the tearing Tesla seat covers. The price for the quality is well worth it, would recommend this place! read more

I am thoroughly pleased with Juan and Antunez Upholstery. I have a 45-year-old dining room set with 4 chairs on which the seat cushions and fabric were in bad shape and a hallway bench with an imitation leather cushion that was in equally bad shape. I reached out on Yelp and sent some pictures. Juan responded quickly. I explained what I needed, he asked some questions and then gave me a reasonable quote. He picked up the chairs and bench and delivered them back a week later with new cushions and coverings - they all look great. He completed the job on the schedule he had indicated and at a very reasonable price. I also found Juan to be professional and very pleasant to work with.
