The washers are brand new, environmentally friendly, fairly quick, and seemed to make my white clothing and towels even whiter, if that's possible. I put my lighter items in one small washer, the dark items in another, then used a medium-sized dryer to dry them all. I like how you can buy as much drying time as you need with the medium-sized dryers instead of wasting quarters. There is a change machine on the premises that will change up to $20 bills into quarters and an adequate amount of seating and folding tables. Perfect location as it's right near the Market Basket down the street so I can hit the supermarket after cleaning my clothes. Will definitely be back!

I find that Happy's does just as good a job as Anton's. They've gotten out some pretty tough stains from my clothes. Moreover, they are significantly cheaper. For example, I just had fourteen shirts laundered and it cost me just over $30. This would have been several dollars more at Anton's. The one trade-off is that this place takes longer than many of the larger chains. If I bring shirts in on a Monday, I typically can pick them up on Friday. This isn't a big deal for me, but requires a little planning. Finally, I like this place because unlike some of the larger places, this is a Mom and Pop kind of shop. I've been going here for the past three years, and I've only seen two people working here, the owners, who I presume to be husband and wife.

Winn Street Laundry does their laundry on premise but they send their dry cleaning out. I'm not use to their prices, they have a minimum weight and Jezzzzus, their prices was astronomical! I asked how much and gasps behind me for asking and the lady at the counter "This is Boston" look and their awards let me know YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES DONE RIGHT, SCREW THE PRICES. $7 freakin dollars for a single shirt? It was either my ego that agreed, determined to look Winn Street Laundry starched down and pressed or didn't wanna look cheap and couldn't afford their services. I said out loud "Good grief, I pay $2.79 in Houston for a man buttoned down laundry, heavy starched shirt". I felt the evil eyes trying to climb my Psalm 91 hedges of protection because one of the two tunnels here was closed due to construction and the traffic put commuter's at least 30 minutes behind and in traffic. These Bostonians need to fire up a joint which is legal here and CHILL OUT:)))) Anywho, my dry cleaning was superb and the heavy starch I requested cut my neck and was ready before time. My shirt collars was white so I had not a one complaint for my HARD earned mula. I received a text when my clothes were ready along with a reminder of the price, I like that. I do wash&fold, and not only do they manage to get the toughest stains out after one wash (light beige cotton shorts after a day of hiking in the rain anyone?), they also do an incredible job of folding everything exactly the way clothes should be folded. So now for a little over $15 I get 3 bags of perfectly folded, fresh smelling laundry, all separated by gender (no more searching for my pink socks among my boyfriend's boxers). I hope these wonderful people stay in business forever, and I'm certainly never taking my laundry any place else.

(The reason for -1 star) The reason for 4 stars is because they told me this price when I dropped it off, and because I was pressed for time and this is the only one in the area with good reviews, I went with them. Also, they got all 3 pieces done in the time they said they would. And they made my suit that was covered with weird stains look like new. You debate if it's worth the price. This is one of the few decently reviewed places in the area surrounding Lowell, so I went to it instead of others actually in the city. I'm probably gonna go somewhere else for half the price, I just have to find one that has good reviews first.

here's an update on becoming a regular with michelle's cleaners: fantastic! i picked up my two…read morecashmere sweaters today and they're wonderful. when i originally dropped them off i asked for a cleaning and to remove the storage smells it may have lingering. once i got home and removed the plastic they were both so soft along with no odor. i did have a few moth holes in the green sweater that i plan on repairing by sewing and i made sure to mentioned it. i appreciate that they weren't ripped further nor any additional holes once inspected. i make sure to tip when i'm able to because the work is shown whenever i pick up my drop offs. it's great to have oscar and the owner interact kindly, it makes me feel welcomed and keeps me coming back. michelle's will continue to have my business and i'm happy to always support local small businesses. i prefer quality and will pay the price to meet that expectation, i highly recommend them!
