Almost every local place we tried was very bready and bland, and our only alternative was Domino's, which was somehow sadly better than all of those. Then one night we happened upon Verona, and ordered their veggie pizza. It was great. The crust was flat but not crispy, the sauce was garlicky and well-seasoned, the toppings were fresh and plentiful, the cheese was good quality. We were so pleasantly surprised after so many pizza encounters that were only ok. We ate way more of it than we normally do, or should have, and had way too few leftovers for the next day! The delivery person has my order in a canvas bag not in a warmer bag. Previous order was delivered again without the benefit of a warmer bag and food was not protected e.g. sealed. The guy handed me my breaded mushrooms; the container lid had a burn hole in it! Crazy! To answer the Manager's question as to why I order from them; my choices are limited but rest assured I will not order from them again!

We shared one large (16 inch) Pizza with Mushroom on the whole pie then getting one side sausage and the other broccoli and a side of 'pizza fries' that were ordinary unseasoned fries topped with a mess of Pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. It wasn't inedible but i can't say i'd order it again. the pizza was good woth the sausage being pretty decent and the mushrooms being very bland and that's because they're from a can, i use to make pizzas for a local pizza joint i get it so i won't flame the flavorless mushrooms. The crust was surprisingly crisp and delicious, it's very rare i finish my pizza crust i usually just give mine to my gf but the pie was alright. My biggest take on nicolosi's is the prices. pizza is expensive i get it but honestly the price for the quality is slightly off and i say this with experience from many different pizza places on both the east and west coast. would come back for a pizza in the future.
