I will be going to this place as much as possible. Small place with only a cashier and few chairs. This is fully take out place and it makes the most of size to give you the perfect pizza. The place is a nice hole in the wall with a very nice guy working the counter but the wings and the cheese bread was ok. The pizza wasn't even sliced all the way through or even at all leaving those awkward little slices all along the pizza. Great Pizza, and I won't go anywhere else unless I'm desperate. They actually put toppings on their pizzas, and it's still very affordable. Only thing I have to say is that the last time I went there I saw two pizza trays on the floor and quite a few on the shelf near the floor, but at least those were not on the floor. Grossest place ever!!!! The pizza slices were oddly shaped the dough was undercooked and the sauce was cold and watery it tasted like cold ketchup. Let's talk about quality!!! We recently moved to the neighborhood and we were looking for something very specific as our new pizza spot, as we have places back home that set very high standards. I was ify about trying Antonio's after reading the reviews on service and even more so after my first initial call. I almost didn't go pick up my order after placing it over the phone ... but today was my 3rd time ordering from here and I must say, I don't think it is a service probably as much as a cultural thing. You just have to really understand that different cultures have different ways of speaking and I don't think the staff is trying to be rude, they are just very busy which is understandable (after you try the food). So if you can look past the kind of short, pushy type of ordering experience I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Antonio's. Starting with their pizza the food is just incredible! From the first taste it is very obvious that this is a high quality establishment. Pizza is thick and doughy, cheese is top notch and it is always cooked just right. Now, usually I stick to pizza from these little family owned places , but the pizza was so good and the smell when you walk in that I had to try ... the Chicken Alfredo ! If you love chicken Alfredo like I do you know that Olive Gardens sauce is hard to beat. Usually the Alfredo sauce I try other places does not really taste like Alfredo sauce but more like some other type of white creamy mixture. To my surprise, Antonio's has the most amazing chicken Alfredo I have ever tasted!!! This was a tough review to write. In order to be fair, I need to break this down in to two categories: 1. Food - Surprisingly, this is pretty good pizza. If you don't want to have anything to do with the chains and cardboard crusts, Antonio pizza is a great departure. I do enjoy this pizza and the reasonable prices that go with it for good tasting pizza. 2. Service/Timeliness - We have gone here several times and more than a handful of times have I been told a time on the phone that my pizza would be ready, I show up at that time or just after and it's still not ready. This is extremely frustrating - why tell me a time and not meet it? Again, this has happened multiple times. I should also add that I end up waiting an additional 15-20 minutes once I'm there, after the time I already waiting at home. This really isn't acceptable service. My most recent and sadly I must say my last visit here. I waited the designated time, showed up and the pizza was not only not ready, one of them was made incorrectly. I had to wait about 25 minutes and there was no type of service recovery to comp anything, plus no official apology. The owner here is really a very nice guy, but needs to do a better job of setting expectations for his customers for wait times. When service does fail, he needs to face it heads on and provide some type of recovery. It's unfortunate, due to this recent experience, plus the many other failures, they've lost a repeat customer. I hope they really hear this feedback and adjust the service. Good pizza, less than desirable service. read more
