We were warmly greeted by Carla (who served us very well) and asked if we had ever been here before (no), and then were given the time to review their menu, ask questions, and finally make our selections. The food came out made-to-order and it was hot and fresh. My wife loved their empanadas, and my order was a massive serving of chicken corn meal, and a small side salad of sorts. The mofongo comes with an incredibly delicious garlic sauce that just makes the whole meal work even more than it was already working. We shared two desserts - the Tres Leches along with a guava cake roll I can't recall what it was called. The Tres Leches was just the right size (as this is a traditionally sweet treat) and the cake roll was sizeable - so it made sense to share that. Truly walked away feeling good about this place - from the welcoming decor, the staff, and of course the food - I hope the local (including me) give this place the love it deserves...
