The best alpaca experience I've ever been to!…read more This is my third time visiting alpacas, but my all time favourite. Your experience starts with history and an understanding of alpacas. (I never knew they were a manmade animal!) You get tons of quality time with the alpacas - from walking them, to feeding them, to posing to picture and seeing the babies! There is more hands on time than any place I've ever been! The alpacas and llamas also have TONS of land to enjoy! The staff's passion and love for the alpacas is SO evident! Our guide was just phenomenal; you could tell that she loved her job! A person I was traveling with saw this experience on TikTok; I'm so glad she did! This is my #1 thing to do in the Bozeman area. Highly recommend!! 2026: 46/100

I was really excited to purchase a merino wool pullover from East Slope Outfitters in Big Sky Town…read moreCenter. It was performing well, so I went back the next day and purchased a second one. Unfortunately, the first pullover started developing pulls almost immediately. One particularly long pull in the front snagged on something as minor as my cuticle--something that shouldn't even be possible. I also noticed additional pulls on the back, even though I had been careful with it. When I went into the store to discuss the issue, an employee was empathetic and directed me to the manager. However, the manager--a brunette helping a customer with ski goggles--was completely dismissive. When I explained the situation, she responded with, "Oh, it must have pulled on something." I acknowledged that it caught on my nail, but I was shocked that such an expensive pullover would be so fragile. Rather than offering any assistance or even engaging in a conversation about product quality, she quickly shut it down, saying they couldn't do anything since I had already had it for a few days. For a store selling high-end outdoor gear, I expected better durability and customer support. Spending around $130, I at least hoped for a discussion about quality assurance or a possible exchange. Instead, I was met with indifference. It felt like they cater more to tourists passing through than to customers who actually care about their purchases. If you're looking for durable gear from a store that stands behind its products, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

**November 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit**…read more I'm looking for some second hand gems, and was interested to see what "The Basement" was all about. The shop is located on a strip mall with ample parking, but there's not a large sign to really identify it. I drove past it, but it's located right next to a military recruitment center. When you step inside the shop is ver narrow and has a very casual streetwear aesthetic. I think all items were for boys or individuals who would appreciate the uni-sex apparel. There are some shoes in the back of the room. I didn't get anything here, but I think the shop does have some good merchandise. I would say the items range in $$-$$$ price range.
