They use social security numbers as ID. You can pay off the credit card at store but store can not give you your balance. I did not receive a bill recently by mail. $15 late charge. Just try to contact Kohl's to adjust charge. No customer service help. Capital one rep on phone respondence was "are you paying your bill?". I cut up card, wrote a letter about my experience, & requested to cancel Kohls and their credit card. I had to download charges from website minus the $15 fee & paired only what I owed since I did not get statement in mail. NO WONDER THEY ARE CLOSING STORES.
