We visited both of their stores in the greater Scottsdale area looking for an authentic Native American area rug. The salespeople at both stores were friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, without applying any pressure. It was a wonderful experience. We saw several rugs that we liked in both stores, but it is difficult to envision them in your home with your furniture and the interior colors of your room. No problem: they offered to bring all four rugs to our home the next day (Sunday) to see how they looked in our living room. The owner, Ed, and his two helpers, showed up on time and laid all four rugs out in the allotted space so that we could compare them, side by side. Who does that? They do! Needless to say, we loved one of the rugs and purchased it. They even took our old rug away. We would highly recommend their service which is based on knowledge and years of experience. From chocolates to peanuts to unique soft drinks and teas, the straight back middle of the store is the place to shop. Some international brands and flavors make it easy to find something for that person who has everything. Off to the right in the front corner of the store is where you'll find a funny book, canvas bag, or Post-It Notes. To the left front of the store, past the registers, is where you'll see cool kitchen gadgets. That's where we get our little plasticware sets to bring to fairs and festivals and road trips. Back left of the store has loads of alcohol - which we don't drink. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Tempe area and our favorite store of this chain.

She promptly checked me in so I could get my pick up order started and even helped me get a return done. Kat also refreshed me on how to properly utilize my pro rewards account so that I can reap the rewards down the road as my points stack up. There's cracking issues and locking mechanism issues that I've now seen other reviews about that, I had no idea about until now. After filing a warranty claim about this particular product that's at floor and decor "NuCore Performance BUTTER TOAST WATERPROOF RIGID CORE LUXURY VINYL PLANK" which markets their product with a "lifetime" warranty for residential is actually not a lifetime warranty and they're denying my claim and offering me a measly gift card for one of the planks that was determined to be defective but once they found out several other planks are starting to have issues. They're not willing to cover any of the others related to any of the other planks that are experiencing locking mechanism issues. If you ever have any warranty issues with floor and decor, please make sure that you hire a third-party and have any extra material or planks you have sent to an independent lab for testing because they actually limit what their "third-party" tester can test for and refuse to do independent plank testing.

Marcos 'lead installer'; refused to park in designated spot to accommodate his large trailer then tells us there's nowhere big enough on property to cut carpet & install! After calling salesperson about having no idea large space was needed to cut carpet then finally connecting to GM Paula about inexplicable lack of communication on BB part (she agreed), Marcos assures me he can & will cut carpet at Bb warehouse then return within an hour or so & install master bedroom carpet. Installers leave & never return. I spent hours proactively following up on where Marcos was only to be told by Chris (Marcos supervisor) he allowed Marcos to go home b/c Marcos wasn't satisfied with designated parking spot! Said he felt it was "a hostile work environment." every vendor has parked there; no vendor ever complained nor refused to park there. Marcos lied to me about completing job, Chris complicit in this lie. I prepaid thousands of dollars to have a subcontractor take it upon himself to walk off the job b/c he 'didn't want to get another ticket from the police' (parking spot 100% legit/legal numerous people from management team trying to accommodate him). Paula & Chris then assure me that carpet CAN be pre cut at warehouse. After a very long & exhausting move, Paula at BB did a 180 by denying they ever told me this saying "no one at Baker Brothers from salesperson to scheduler to Paula to installer was aware nor educated on the type of carpeting I ordered...sorry." Paula repeatedly dismissed that Marcos lied to me/blew us off. Ended with passive aggressive 'we apologize that you're feeling frustrated.' No accountability on BB part. Refuse to reimburse me...keep saying I have to find a space on property for them to cut carpet!! Paula & Chris refuse to tour property themselves despite 2 invites to do so. Local media (ABC/FOX) doing investigative piece on Baker Brothers unethical behavior, poor customer service and questionable legal subcontract hiring practices.
