The cheese ravioli were delicious. Cooked up well and none broke apart. I will definitely return for more

I do not cook often, so…read morethe fact that I cam stop in, grab fresh sauces, and fresh pasta or ravioli, and "cook" them in minutes to have what tastes like a homemade fresh meal is just the best thing ever! Is it cheap? No! Is it worth it? Absolutely! You will never want boxed pasta from your local grocery store ever again. They also now have desserts and I loved the personal size fruit tart, and oh the to go with your coffee in the morning is a must try! The fillings of the ravioli change with the seasons, and the lemon in the summer and the truffle are amazing when it's truffle season! I literally did not even think I liked truffle until I tried this ravioli, and then I realized it was the fake truffle oil that restaurants put on truffle fries that I hated the smell of, which is nothing at all like the actual taste and scent of a real truffle that is not overpowering or stinky. Lol The owners are the sweetest and are always present, and I am so proud to see how many places are now using their pasta for their dishes. The space is clean, and I am so excited that they are actually opening a second location in Glastonbury! I can't say enough good things so if you haven't given them a try yet, add it to your must do list!

Plus, we got some tasty bites at the beginning, had a delicious mushroom pasta, and some biscotti to end the meal. The pasta we ate there was not the pasta we made, we got to take home our hard work in a to go box to be cooked at home. It's also BYOB which I think is a fun addition! (There's also a package store across the parking lot if you forget your bottle of wine)

The sandwich was very good, crispy and flavorful. The bacon pizza was just crispy enough with flavorful sauce. The garlic knots were made fresh with a very nice aromatic herbal garlic infusion. The cannolis were chocolate dipped and share size **we did have to go back because the pizza was made without bacon and we were over charged for the garlic knots. Brought it to the owners attention but they corrected it right away. He also added the cannolis for the inconvenience. There is no parking lot, but street parking in this area isn't too bad. It is a take out place so the inside is set up like a deli. Everything in the case from brownies and cannolis to pasta salad and squid salad is homemade. They offer a large variety of sandwiches, pizza, and more, but I knew I had to get. Teflon Don because of how delicious it looked in the pictures on Yelp. The Teflon Don did NOT disappoint. I got a 12" grinder, and it was massive. It was stuffed with meat and satiated my sandwich craving. I also tried apricot nectar for the first time, and I'm hooked. The workers were also super sweet and even let my friend go into their kitchen and see the fresh sauce they had on the stove for his chicken parm! Great people.

Decent ravioli, not the best dine in experience…read more Came here as a lunch option for the area. The inside is well decorated and there was a lot of coolers with pasta and raviolis. We went to the front and ordered the butternut squash ravioli in butter sauce and their lobster roll special. Food came out in a reasonable timeframe, we perused the oils and vinegars while we waited. The lobster roll was a flop. Dry lobster on top of lettuce barely warmed on a non toasted hot dog bun. It's a ravioli shop, so I didn't have high expectations, but figured they have worked with lobster before so I had higher hopes The ravioli we got were also a pretty big flop. Raw uncooked pasta in broken butter sauce and no seasoning. The butternut squash filling was puréed to heck and reminded me of frozen butternut squash sides you buy from the grocery store. Not bad, but lacking. The fries and onion rings were good. Bagged but good quality, the highlight of our meal. The staff were friendly, and the space was small but cozy. I highly suspect the faults of the kitchen are mainly due to them not having dine in orders frequently. I would stick with the prepared pastas and make whatever you buy at home.

My favorite purchases were the fresh cut egg linguine and the Ritz-based stuffed cod. The fresh linguine cooks in a minute and the texture just hits different in the best possible way. The cod was nice and firm and the Ritz stuffing was crazy delicious. I also liked the Chicken Francaise. You can't really compare it to restaurant quality Francaise because it's specifically made to be re-heated and eaten later. With this in mind, I though that the small chicken pieces and lemon sauce were very solid. My other purchases included clam chowder and Tuna Mac Salad with peas. The Tuna Mac was pretty good. It wouldn't be in regular rotation for me, but I'd get it once in a while. The clam chowder was my least favorite, but I respect that New England Pasta seemed to go for something different. The texture was good and it had plenty of clams and potato. But it tasted like it had a little blue cheese flavor. I can't say for sure that they used blue cheese, but the chowder definitely had something different that gave it this vibe. For me, this flavor was a bit too assertive. I don't live near New England Pasta, but if I did, I would visit once in a while. Four Stars
