This place is cool. People are sweet. Bilingual, as well so if you're an English speaking traveler looking for a laid back coffee house vibe. Head here. This place also has the best cup of coffee I've had in Paris. $4 per hour; $13 per day. Pay and drink however much coffee you want. They have free wifi. Comfy chairs and snacks.

Great concept. Pay €5 per hour with drinks and snacks included. I guess it's the "anti" cafe since it's the opposite of the typical Laptopistan experience with people sitting around for hours milking cheap drinks. I like that you can sit around and not feel guilty about it since you are paying "rent" to do it. There are plenty of outlets all around. Wi-Fi is extremely fast. I'm not sure how a place like this can survive in a high rent neighborhood, since coffee shops often rely on volume from takeout orders. But in any case I hope they do survive.

This is the coffee shop Paris was missing. Good coffee is nice but it wasn't the missing element, what was missing was a sense of community. The thought that you're not just one peon passing by who the coffee shop owner would prefer leaves as soon as they come in to make way for a horde of anonymous customers. This is a coffee shop designed around people, and it shows. The space is well designed and lit, you can feel the comfy as you come in -- a rare treat in Paris. Although it's no obvious, as you come in you simply ask for a white card at the register and there's no need to pay upfront. An unexpected token of trust. The cards themselves have lovely and varied designs (a detailed touch that foretells the rest of the experience). You then find a place to sit down, although I have to admit this place is so nice there may come a time when this will be difficult. Facing the outside is a self service bar where you can make tea, ask for a cup of coffee, get juice, lemonade, milk, snacks and other coffee shop staples. All of those, are free. The only thing you'll pay for as you leave is the time you spent here. A brilliant little hack. Now there are some things for sale like sandwiches, but buying them is up to you because you're allowed to bring your own food. I think they're designed to be ways for you to support the shop whenever you start craving a substantial bite but don't want to leave the surrounding comfort. For people like me who like to work from coffee shop once in a while to escape monotony, there's a table by the counter where several people work on laptops. There are plugs available and apparently even a printer if you need it. The rest of the shop is a mix of large living room chairs, sofas, and smaller tables. I didn't scope out the bathroom situation but it should follow that nice bathrooms are available considering the concept.

Super interesting cafe concept. You can pay 5 euros per hour for free, fast WiFi, unlimited snacks (rice cakes, cookies, cucumbers, bread, Nutella, chips), unlimited drinks (your typical cafe drinks including espressos and lattes, various assortments of tea, and fancy lemon cucumber water). You can also print up to 10 pages for free by sending to an email. This is a really cool concept and it's hard to believe that you can do all of this for only 5 euros! There are two floors of seating with plenty of working space. If this was near my uni, I would have probably lived here. A perfect place to unwind after a long day of walking.

this place is cool. super cool. upon walking in, I proceeded to the barista for a latte, where he informed me about the concept of the place. you pay by the hour, and all of the drinks and snacks are unlimited. wi-Fi, books charging tables, everything is ready for you, you just pay as you stay. this is totally the perfect place to study, get some work done or have a meeting, I for one just dropped in thinking I was going to get a latte but was pleasantly surprised. I stayed for about an hour and was able to taste all of the yummy treats and had three lattes (lol). all of the food and drinks were basic commercial stuff you can buy at the grocery store, but I still think that it's a cool way to serve customers and a really cool option for people who want to sit down and get some work done. i'm really glad I ran into this café and hope to see some of these pop up in LA!

This place is so chill and relaxing, a perfect spot to just relax for a bit or do some work. You pay by the hour per person with access to unlimited snacks and drinks that they can either make for you (coffee, espresso, etc) or cold drinks or snacks in the fridge. If you are just looking for a place to spend a little bit of time to just wind down and relax, this is a good place to go to.

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!

They have a clean bathroom upstairs, you'll just need to climb the staircase. We ordered the strawberry crepe and duck and asparagus galette bretonne. So there's actually a bit of a difference between a crepe and a galette. Crepes are usually sweet and made with wheat flour, while galettes are usually savory and made with buckwheat flour. Between the two, I enjoyed the strawberry crepe more, the strawberry jam made the crepe a delicious sweet treat. The flavors of the galette weren't as satisfying to my tastebuds, but I still enjoyed it. I would be interesting in trying other galette flavors next time. While my expectations weren't fully realized (I didn't LOVE it), I still enjoyed giving Breizh Cafe a try.
