Sitting on the very comfy couch in the back of the dining room.

Love this coffee... Been two years since I had a chance to come back to Paris, and definitely made this a must-stop. In my humble opinion, this is the best coffee in Paris; and now that I've found their flagship retail store, it is my favorite coffee shop. They roast up some of the finest coffees from around the world - even Blue Mountain from Jamaica. Try one in thw house and take a can or two home. You won't regret it.

Well, it's stylish, but barista did not speak English. Brew coffee can be ordered here. I ordered V60 and enjoyed it. Cold brew is not classic one, very peculiar

I enjoyed coming here during my time in Paris, I found it to be the best coffee shop in the area. During the weekdays you can come here to work on your laptop with access to free Wi-Fi, but on the weekends, they turn the Wi-Fi off to encourage human interaction. The coffee was delicious and far superior to Starbucks. However, some baristas pull a better espresso than others, but that seems to consistent amongst all coffee shops. There is a good amount of seating available, though they don't seem to wipe down the tables every often. I found that the pastries were a bit stale. The baristas were friendly, and most knew English, even though I tried to order in French best I could. I'd recommend checking this place out if you're in the area and want a good cup of coffee.

Reopened in September 2012 after 6 months or renovations, Malongo is setting itself as the one true coffeehouse of the neighborhood. Finally, an alternative to SBX (and cheaper to boot). If only it would open earlier so that i could get a cup before going to work! Atmosphere is nice although there's a lack of seating space, unfortunately. Food choices are limited. Of note, this cafe also carries every possible item that could be necessary to make excellent coffe at home - including the coffee itself, of course.

Really can't say enough about the exquisite coffee this place has! The expertise of the staff was very impressive and helpful when making selections. In short, this cafe is truly the caffeinated masterpiece hub of a coffee enthusiast's dreams. With my five star rating, it goes without saying that this was the best coffee I had while in Paris (I ordered two drinks in the store and one to go)! If you are an espresso drinker you will really appreciate the fresh, rich (not too bitter) flavor. My favorite part about this cafe; however, was the retail space. So many cool and creative solutions for making great coffee, most of which is only ever heard about (or never heard of at all before ). The staff spoke English and were more than happy to answer all of my questions. All in all I was really impressed!

Great coffee! Additional perk is the fact that they have a a great selection of coffee beans that they roast on site!

Amazing coffee and lattes here. Our barista really took pride in making the coffee. So far the best coffee in Paris I've had.

Best espresso I've had outside of Italy and Portugal. Strong, but full in flavor, very "round".

I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! The mousse and apple bits were cold & delicious and the chocolate shell was good, but not sure if it was worth the price at €7.5. + Pain Au Chocolat Cookie - Verrrry good chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant mashup. Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. We came here for some coffee on a rainy afternoon, but were pleasantly surprised to see escargot on the menu too and figured we'd give it a shot. Coffee wise we got the vienna coffee which had chocolate inside. It was good, with a nice espresso flavor and a huge dollop of whipped cream on top. A nice pick me up for the day. The escargot on the other hand, was so fantastic. They were served all cute in their little shells on a tray, and bubbling when we first got them. The green sauce that they came with was fantastic, and the butter was also a great addition! This made for such a flavorful little bite - escargots taste like little chewy clams to me, nothing strange at all. It also came with a few pieces of baguette to soak up the yummy sauce. Service was friendly and the inside of the restaurant has such a nice vibe. I would definitely recommend this spot!

They have a clean bathroom upstairs, you'll just need to climb the staircase. We ordered the strawberry crepe and duck and asparagus galette bretonne. So there's actually a bit of a difference between a crepe and a galette. Crepes are usually sweet and made with wheat flour, while galettes are usually savory and made with buckwheat flour. Between the two, I enjoyed the strawberry crepe more, the strawberry jam made the crepe a delicious sweet treat. The flavors of the galette weren't as satisfying to my tastebuds, but I still enjoyed it. I would be interesting in trying other galette flavors next time. While my expectations weren't fully realized (I didn't LOVE it), I still enjoyed giving Breizh Cafe a try. We didn't visit enough crêperies on this trip, so it's something I look forward to doing the next time I'm back in Paris!

I had a dessert crepe with bananas and ice cream (think bananas foster, Parisian style) and it was very reasonably priced and delicious.
