This place is one of the self dubbed three kings of pizza from the brothers. Christos, Foucos & here. This was my first visit of many more to come. I will officially be a regular tomorrow afternoon as soon as lunch hits. The service here was very friendly. It's a pretty chill place inside with dozens upon dozens of pizza boxes stacked from the ground to way high up that's hard to reach. I picked up a to go order and it was ready quick quickly. They had it ready for me upon arrival. Moderately average priced. For my maiden voyage i picked up a small cheese pizza, which is always my baseline anytime I'm trying out a pizza place the first time. Also had to try out a meatball parm grinder and a foxon park birch beer soda. Oh yeah, almost forgot. I had to grab a slice of peanut butter pie. I was pretty sure it was love at first sight when I opened the pizza box, but, after I took my first bite i found out I was wrong. It wasn't love at first sight. It was infatuation after my first bite and I fell hard 4.30.25 on this very special great day. The pizza is super thin crust with ample amount of ooey gooey melted delicious cheese and just the right amount of olive oil. Super light nutty mouth gasm. This pizza place knocked it outta the park it was so good. The meatball parm was good. A regular good/average for me that wasn't noteworthy because the pizza seriously overshadowed the grinder. That's how good this pizza was and is. The birch beer sets it off perfectly. Not many places carry the birch beer. Tasty. Can't wait to try something else for lunch tomorrow. If I bump into you, let's share a slice or two together. There's street parking and I'm pretty sure a small lot on the side of the building.

I was embarrassed to call with 4hrs notice. They didn't flinch. Easy. Made me feel really good about my decision. The pasta was cooked perfectly and they did everything right. I'd give the vodka sauce 7/10 in the area. Salad was fresh. Terrific toppings (not just lettuce) and the dressings were good quality. My experience today makes me really look forward to my first dine-in experience. Really good people. Great service. I can see why folks love this place. With the Super Bowl approaching I needed to write this review to inform others as to what to expect based on my experience. Based on my experience each delivery brings disappointment in inaccurate orders, incomplete orders, or wrong or cold food. I attached pictures of the proof of my experience. I have been a long time customer of Whooster's. I even took a year off from ordering because of the problems. I have told them of my concerns. Still orders are wrong. Food is cold. There is always at least one person, often more than one person, in my family that did not get what they wanted, what I ordered, what I paid for. Whooster pizza does not sell anything exclusive. There are at least 30 places in Waterbury to buy pizza and other menu items from. After a decade of loyalty and a full year of consistent poor service I have finally stopped spending my discretionary money with Whooster. I found another pizza place that has been doing a good job. The delivery guys are nice. They try, but the orders are not filled completely or correctly. The food arrives cold or a mess. I have given them many attempts to correct themselves. They used to be top notch, a great place. My best guess is the father stopped running the place. I like to support my local businesses but I just can't keep wasting money and listening to my kids complain. I would make excuses or try to not complain at times because it felt like I was always pointing out errors. Look at the pictures. Cold pizza. Temperature is 99 degrees. The kids said it was terrible. They said it was colder than when you microwave pizza. I haven't ever posted about them but on January 3rd, I finally did and attached a picture of the mess of a pizza they delivered. They responded by offering a $10 credit on my next purchase. I never used it. I didn't want the credit. I wanted them to correct their service. I was hopeful that me sharing my experience would give them concern to take this seriously. They didn't. Nothing improved. On or about January 16, they delivered my sons steak and olive oil and garlic pasta. As pictured below, it was pasta sauce. My son hates pasta sauce. Another part of the meal thrown away. I posted a picture of most all of my purchases this year. I use different credit cards. I am spending 50, 60 and 70 plus dollars each order. I am not a valued customer. They are not concerned with getting my order correct and delivering the food hot. I have decided to spend my money supporting a business that can get it right. After a minimum of 27 tries, Whooster still can't deliver a correct hot meal. That is my experience.

There is also ice cream, onion rings in the hot food area, and baked goods wrapped for desserts. There's both Coke and Pepsi in the coolers, and chips behind the window side booths. They also have a bar area and sell on Slice! Big Daddys also does local delivery on certain days in the evening. Goodness, there's a lot going on. Plus, a good flow of pick up orders. The gentlemen at the register seemed to have a good handle on things though.
