I've been here twice and thought both the tomato and garlic slice and the margarita slice were great. The crust was thin the way it should be and both slices had plenty of flavor and cheese. The second time I got the house salad, which is large and very reasonably priced but consists mostly of lettuce and onions, not even a few olives, pretty boring, but fresh. Both times, the people behind the counter didn't seem to be particularly friendly but I've had bad food from really nice and friendly people. If I have to choose I'll take good food over friendly any day. read more

Im a long time regular here and I don't understand the bad reviews. I have tried every pizzeria in the area and their pizza is the best by far and taste like authentic italian!!! We had my son and his girlfriend and my grandson over for dinner last night and my husband ordered large pie pie with vegetables another pie with eggplant , mozzarella sticks and zucchini sticks and it was amazing ,everything was perfect. And let me say, it's tough to do in this neighborhood, either can go to some places that the pizza is good but the rest of the menu is subpar or vice versa. This place nailed everything! This review is based on pizza only- I have not tried any pasta dishes...yet. Great regular pizza- crisp bottom crust, perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio and decent sized slices. I prefer their regular pie to the Sicilian. I've also tried a meatball parm wedge here, which was good but it needed a little more sauce. The best deal here, in my opinion, is the 12" personal pie. I think it was called Deluxe Personal? Whatever it was called, you get up to 5 toppings for $8.50. I chose meatball, broccoli, spinach, onion and black olive- it was delicious! There is nothing like a good pizza made to your specifications. Pleasant servers, clean, low-key place without all the shouting and noise of other pizzerias in the area. read more

Anthony's is a solid pizzeria it's not my favorite but when in the area and hungry I come here. One thing I noticed is there slices seem to sit out for a while so they tend to leave them in the oven too long and they get kind of dried out. I can't speak for the dinners here but you could do worse for pizza. read more

It's bad enough to get an attitude from the guy taking my phone order, but to arrive 20 minutes later to pick up my simple order of a pepperoni pie and he forgot to make my order is just the final screw up this place has made for me. Last time i ordered a house salad to go and when i got home, there was chicken on it. I don't eat chicken. He told me to bring it back for a new one..yeah no, not getting back in my car. This has been my favorite pizzeria for years but the people that work there are very rude. I went in the other day and asked for three slices and they only gave me two and I didn't realize until I got home. So I had to go back down there to get another slice and while I was waiting the person who took my order the first time was talking shit about me in Spanish to the other workers. They clearly must not have know that I speak Spanish and understood what they were saying. It's not dirty, it's not overpriced but it's The most sub average pizza there is. The pizza is not spectacular, the place is run by a couple of kids who are constantly texting on their iPhones, and there were very few slices to choose from that were ready to serve by the slice. I have a hard time giving ANY place that sells pizza (my favorite food) less than 4 stars but this place just doesn't tickle me. This is my fourth time eating here and definitely my last. The last time I had done this it was a bad experience and I said I would never again, but figured hey might as well give them another shot, maybe I caught them on an off day. I was working in Peekskill last week and had delivery from this place. My order was so small that I didn't think they would even deliver it but they did! Once the food arrived ... YUM! I couldn't imagine messing up at my job this consistently, and still being allowed to work there. I order pizza when I'm in a rush, and to call wondering where my food is after two hours just to hear sorry we are putting it in now, is just not unacceptable, it is probably hard for you to even believe. It consisted of very dried over cooked pieces of what was supposed to be sausage on a wedge that wasn't even toasted! I called it sausage turds!
