a bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich

Has this deli ever let me down? Never. They've been there for my lowest lows and highest highs. A warm custom made sandwich is there to comfort me at any hour. Tough day at the hospital? Anthony is there for me. Drunk and coming home at 4am? Anthony is there for me. Woke up hungry and in a rush? Anthony is there for me. They crush their rivals Tasty Picks in sandwich making and I want everyone in the area to understand that.

This is a store by the hospital and clinics. They are very popular because you can see that they have alot of options to make a great sandwich. They stay open late and the prices are great. They have plenty of drink options along with cakes and chips. They also make great smoothies and salads. When Im in this area I prefer to choose this place to grab a bite rather then the other options and there are plenty. That speaks volumes. So you want a good sandwich this is one spot to check out. After you pick one up, walk a couple blocks down and chill out in Van Cortlant Park to enjoy, if the weather's good.

This spot has really good selections of sandwiches. Their quesadillas are excellent and a go to item. Smoothies are served here as well. They are stuffed! The owners are very nice as well. A good grab and go spot.

BEST SANDWICH!!!! This was my first time ordering from here and I wasn't disappointed! This place knows how to make a mean sandwich. GREAT portions!!!!! The meat and produce is fresh! The bread was perfect, not too hard and not too soft. I love sandwiches and I've been to quite a few places around town and have been disappointed. Now that I've found this place, I'm a forever customer! I ordered the Italian. I highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed. This place is a Diamond in the rough Bronx.

Fresh semolina hero hollowed out. The bread was so fresh and not soggy whatsoever. Then placed inside delicious, homemade meatballs, baked deli in the deli itself. I ate the sandwich in two settings. It was just as good the second time if not better. You can tell the sauce is homemade, not too wheat, but typical homemade sauce, a.k.a. gravy. The meatballs were tender, seasoned to perfection and did not fall apart. I just loved the whole presentation and the hero itself. Inside the deli, there are many Italian delicacies and hot food available for takeout. They also have so many good cold cuts in the case by the pound. I sat out in front. There is a couple of seats and a table.. Great service and experience!

I was craving meatballs and decided to try theirs. Definitely an excellent Meatball tender well seasoned and great sauce 10/10 You can only order the Meatball cone (17.00) Big disappointment for myself. I just wanted 2 Meatballs and sauce. I also asked for Eggplant Parmesan in a dish . Now the man helping me huffed and said I don't know if we have any? Ok it was the day before thanksgiving and the line was out the door and not shrinking. Don't take that out on a paying customer. I got it though and am grateful. The eggplant was 6.5/10 as it was not ripe eggplant and some spots were raw even after reheating in the oven. Deli itself was loaded with imported Italian goods. Plenty of variety. If you live in this neighborhood it saves you a trip to Arthur. The deli is very narrow so be prepared to bump elbows . There are a few seats outside.

In the Bronx, what was once a bastion of Jewish delicasies, there are few if almost none left. Save for Liebman's, who is still carrying the banner and flying it high for delicious, high quality, old school, Jewish deli food. Katz' on the lower east side may predate this little gem by almost 65 years (Katz' incredibly opened their doors in 1885) but this place more than holds its own and for MY money, has tastier cuts of meat than the latter. The waiter service was quick, friendly and prompt by a few good service industry "old timers" and that lends even more of a nostalgic feel to the joint. The fresh cut fries are amazing and remind me of those thick, potato, French fries you used to be able to get on the Coney Island boardwalk from the random food places OTHER than Nathan's soggy fries. The meat is lean and well seasoned, the pickles are crisp and cold and even the COLE SLAW (which I almost never eat) was AMAZING here. Check them out, you absolutely will keep coming back.
