Buyers beware. I…read morepurchased a vehicle from Mark Motors via eBay. The vehicle appeared clean and in good condition superficially. After winning the auction, I drove to their lot to finalize payment and pickup the vehicle. During my inspection, I noticed that the driver seat did not recline and was permanently stuck inclined towards the steering wheel. I pointed this out to the sales agent named Chris who seemed kind and trustworthy up until that point. He told me, "Take it to a dealership and send me the bill to fix it." Given that it seemed like such a simple and affordable repair, I took his word and drove the truck off the lot. I did take the truck to the dealership who warned me that the tires were dry-rotted and that the axle was badly damaged. Of course, one of the tires deflated soon after and was unable to be repaired. I emailed Chris the estimate for the seat adjuster repair, as well as plead for some compensation for these major problems revealed. No reply. I tried for weeks to reach him via phone and email. He never responded to email and only once took my call to tell me he'd 'get on it'. Nothing ever came; I'm frustrated by his deception and have resigned to pay out-of-pocket to restore the truck to a sufficient level of safety. My conclusion is that this company is unscrupulous. When my son got there, the issues started immediately. First, the listing photos were clearly taken at angles that hid major cosmetic damage. There were extreme scratches down one side of the car, a dent on the roof, and another scrape on the back that were not clearly shown in the pictures at all. Then my son got into the car and a warning light came on saying the power steering system had failed. The seller himself couldn't even reverse the car out of the parking spot. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he had my sons follow him on the highway to another garage just to diagnose the issue, only to then say it would take two hours or more to fix the problem. After they drove all that way and took time off work, he still wouldn't budge on the price or make any effort to accommodate them. No accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for other people's time. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from this guy.

So I took the truck in for inspection. I needed to get it done within 10 days of registering the…read morevehicle in PA. I assumed that it would go well because Kevin assured me his mechanics looked of the truck and everything checked out ok. Much to my surprise, I get a phone call from my mechanic telling me it needs $1000 in work and thats just to pass inspection. On top of that, it needs belts and a third brake light. Son of a B! Called Arctic Motors and calmly asked them to verify that they did inspect the truck before they sold it to me and that it was in fact free of any major problems(the truck is ten years old, I was expecting it to probably need some minor maintenance stuff like fluids, air filter, wipers etc)which they responded and "Yeah everything looked good" After I told them about the extensive list of issues, they immediately dismissed it. "Well its not making noise so it doesn't need to be fixed". Oh, they're those types of mechanics. They did offer to replace the parts for about half the price but, seeing as I am 90 miles away from them, not to mention that I no longer trust them, I just ended the call with "I'll get back to you" Stupid me put my trust in the fact that they had over 500 positive feedback on ebay. I just thought that since they are a licensed dealership they'd make sure to sell quality cars and fix ones that need work before selling them to ensure customer satisfaction. So long story short, I got ripped off. The truck is still very nice and I am happy with it, but if they listed it as in perfect running and working condition, it should have been that way. I'd recommend shopping for your next vehicle else where or bringing your own mechanic to look over the car before you buy it.

Took it to get inspected two days later at dealership. $1400 to fix in order to pass inspection. Front rear bearings he excessive play, back top brake like out and the icing on the cake....AIRBAG LIGHT BULB WAS REMOVED AND AIRBAG WAS TAMPERED WITH. mechanic said someone pulled out the bulb so the airbag indicator light would not show up. Luckily for us Ford trucks have a back up signal...five chimes in four sessions every hour or so. Just to clarify I asked Kevin if he would cover any repairs that would be needed to pass inspection and he said we would work something out. When I informed him of the repairs he says no way car passed jersey inspection and I bought as is so I should expect repairs would be needed. We wrote a bad e at review and he said he would pay to get it removed so he didn't care. We wrote the review he retaliated with a non-payment dispute on eBay. We have documentation of payment and all email and text correspondences proving he is making a false claim. Working with lawyer now and will be pursuing criminal charges as well for airbag tampering. Please do not buy from this dealership, I hope thus prevents at least some people from getting screwed.
