My new furnace is keeping me warm and toasty, and when the summer heats up, the new air conditioner will keep me cool and use less electricity. I had quotes from four other companies, and Smart Decisions had the best price by far. Edgar delivered everything as promised, and it only took 4 hours. I am totally happy with the products and service.

My disabled client's furnace wasn't working and the gas had been left on the on position for who knows how long. I didn't smell gas so I turned it all off and begin calling companies. All the top rated ones on Yelp with tons of 5 star reviews said they couldn't help. We are putting the client's house on the market this weekend and we needed this taken care of quickly before an appraiser came. JW Mechanical said they could come out asap to check it out. I put them in touch with the client and before I knew it they had gone out, taken care of her issues, replaced the filters, and had it tip top! All for a super reasonable price! Less than the assessment charge alone the other companies were charging! Highly recommend these folks for all of your HVAC needs. I'll be using them moving forward for myself and my clients all over the county.

We hired Chaney Electric to replace an old electrical box for our parents a couple of years ago…read more Chaney ensured us he could do it from the outside of the house. Instead, he had to saw into the inside wall to access what he needed. Afterwards, the area was a mess and we had to try to fix the deep cuts in the drywall ourselves. In addition, a few days later, our parents blew a fuse when plugging in an appliance. It was in the evening and dark outside, and they discovered that they didn't know how to open the door to the electrical box outside. We called Chaney and left a message, asking to please help or to explain how to open this door in order to flip the switch to have light and electricity again for the night. He never returned the call--that night or the next day. Our parents had no idea what to do, and I had to make the drive out there and do an Internet search (mind you, by now it was very dark and cold outside) in order to figure out the door mechanics and how to reset the fuse. 2 stars. Electrical box replaced, yes, but expensive, messy work, shoddy customer service and follow up to ensure safety of elderly clients. A follow up call would have been appreciated.

Most of the companies were not very helpful in telling me how much the water heater would cost. It seems like there is some kind of sales game going on. They wanted to come out and tell me in person. Something about that just didn't seem right. I called value water heaters and Robert helped me pick out a water heater and explained the function of all the different parts to me. He showed up at my house about 2 hours later with the water heater and all the parts we discussed. He installed the water heater and parts for the price we discussed over the phone. I am still wondering why other companies just couldn't tell me what a rough cost. I would definitely recommend Value Water Heaters to anyone looking for quality work.
