We had a stubborn clogged kitchen sink. I used a short snake but it wouldn't clear. Calling around, we took advantage of Drains4Less $99 clogged drain Yelp offer. Israel was able to clear the blockage that was ~12ft down the pipe. He recommended a hydro jet service to prevent future problems. He wasn't pushy, trying to upsell or charge more. He's experienced with homes in our area so his recommendation was based on service they've provided to our neighbors. He did a great job & honored the $99 coupon. I considered giving 5 stars but since this our 1st time using their service plus it was a simple problem - so 4.5. I recently had an angle joint (in the guest bathroom, under the sink) break off in my hand with a constant dripping leak. They augered a mainline clog between the cleanout and street in no time and found a contributing culprit - an electrical fish stick! I had a shower drain that i could not snake out on my own. Called drains for less and they agreed to come out. They arrived on time and inspected the drain and agreed to attempt to clear it. The price was $195.00, double the price of what they advertise on Yelp. Prior to them arriving the shower was free of any standing water. They brought in a drain snake with a Milwaukee drill attached to it and began trying to snake the drain. This went on for around five minutes before i asked them why they were using such an invasive machine and why they wouldn't try by hand first. I have had that same drain snaked in the past and the other plumbers have simply done it by hand. At this point dirty brown water started coming up from the drain, they then went to the truck to get an even bigger machine. Prior to them doing this i asked them why this water was coming up. The owner Miguel responded, "maybe your pipe is broken". I then stated the obvious that before they got here there was no water in the shower or any water coming up from the drain, certainly not brown colored water. Miguel then became confrontational with me when I questioned him as to what was going on. He took zero responsibility for what was going on and offered no solution to the problem. He said my pipes were old and this was not his fault. To be clear, the shower was dry and free of water when they started, now there was a puddle of dirty brown water that will not drain sitting in my shower. I asked Miguel for his business card and license, then asked them to leave. He continued to lecture me about how tis could not have been his fault and that any reputable plumber would agree with him. Turns out that the brown color of the water sitting in my shower was the residue that was a direct result of them using such a high rpm drill which wore away at the inside of my steel shower drain. The chrome flange around my drain is now very scratched as well. The next day I had Nick Knack Plumbing come out. They snaked the drain by hand and had it cleared and working great in less than 5 minutes. They even cleaned up the dirty mess that was left behind. I cant speak to the overall quality of work this company does but I will say they missed the mark on this day. Personally, I will stay away. read more

After struggling with the backed up sewer line and leaky toilet all night I finally decided to call for some help in the early hours of the morning. Within a few hours Andres and Israel were at my door, they were very professional and after talking to me for a few minutes they told me what my problem was (old wax seal and clogged sewer line) and quickly got to work. They were very efficient and worked quickly and safely (they had masks on at all times, yay!!). They made sure to talk to me about what they were doing throughout the whole process. The bill was very affordable and reasonable, especially for the level of service these two guys gave us! I'm very thankful for the work they did at my father's house. I just recently used Drains 4 Less for the first time, and I have nothing but good things to say. Miguel, the owner gave us an estimate over FaceTime to relocate our water heater from the laundry room into the garage. I had three other estimates, and all but one was way over the owner, Miguel's estimate. The other plumber with a similar quote was two weeks out from being able to come over. Miguel, who was incredibly friendly and professional, said he was only a few days out, so we scheduled the work with D4Less. Drains 4 Less is the most honest service company I've personally worked with. After trying to install a toilet kit myself, I ran into an emergency where I needed a plumber ASAP. They came out at night within an hour. Unfortunately a few days later I found out one of the gaskets has been leaking and ruined my floor. They came back out quickly, repaired it, and they were 100% honest that the floor was worse, and they agreed to repair my floor on their dime without me asking. They also said in 15 years of business this has never happened. But I understand freak accidents do happen occasionally. The honesty involved in conducting a business this way is remarkable. Last time they came out they charged me $75 for one drain. So this time I called them and had 4 drains and didn't think to request an estimate before they got started. I am sorry to have to say that Miguel at Drains 4 less is the worst contractor I have ever dealt with, and I deal with them all day long as the manager of all building maintenance for a couple offices. He has made 3 appointments with us to come in and fix an issue with the plumbing in our office bathrooms, and all 3 times he has not shown up, with no call to let us know he wasn't coming, no call afterwards apologizing for completely flaking on his commitments. Our fault for giving him a second and third chance to work with us. We will not make that mistake again.
