This is the only location that offers those within Pomona Valley Medical Center. Which essentially means the radiologist looks at it immediately and provides you with the results right there. It's about as good of experience as you can get when it comes to that exam lol. The security staff, reception, and all the staff are all pleasant and helpful. They offer nice changing rooms and lockers to prep for the exam, and the entire process is usually pretty quick. Personally, I appreciate getting the official results quickly. It is also always followed up with official results from my doctor as well as a letter in the mail.

My mom and I both had several questions and concerns, but I did not feel that they were addressed with much compassion or explanation. I was especially concerned about the bone marrow procedure because of my mom's age and how fragile her bones are, but the procedure and what we could expect were not really explained to us in a way that helped ease my concerns. My mom also mentioned that she had recently started experiencing pain throughout her body. Instead of asking more questions about this new symptom, Dr. Latif initially said that she was already on pain medication and that it wouldn't make a difference. I had to explain that this was a new issue and that my mom wanted to know what she could safely take for the pain. He initially suggested Motrin. However, when my mom was hospitalized, another physician had advised me not to let her take Motrin for an extended period because of concerns about bleeding and her low hemoglobin. After I brought this up, Dr. Latif then advised her to try Tylenol first and Motrin if that did not help. What bothered me most was that I did not feel there was enough follow-up when my mom described what she was experiencing. I wanted her concerns to be listened to, questions to be asked, and guidance to be given--especially considering her age and medical situation. Instead, I left feeling as though our concerns had not really been heard. I was also disappointed that the office did not have all of my mom's lab results available before our appointment and asked us whether she had completed the labs. We travel a significant distance for these appointments. I feel the office should verify that the necessary results have been received before the patient arrives, particularly when those results are important to the visit. Had we not been able to provide the information, we could have made the long trip unnecessarily. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience with both the office and physician. We came to the appointment looking for medical guidance, explanations, and reassurance. Unfortunately, I left feeling that my mom's concerns were not fully listened to or addressed.

They were very helpful and down to earth and no matter how many times I called and bugged Carol about something on my mind, she was always very helpful and nice. She also went out of her way to get things to me and work around my schedule. If you ever have to have thyroid cancer, see Dr. Rao and Carol. They'll treat you right!

I've called 20+ times this week to have the login to their "online portal" sent to me, as they can't send results privately on email or on a call like many other facilities can. I was told multiple times that an email was sent with login info (it never was); and then that their IT department wasn't responding. I asked for a call back on Tuesday, and had to call them repeatedly to no avail. I'm on the phone with their IT team now, and my email address was entered so incorrectly that a butcher would be offended. Plus, I've just found out that today (Friday) is the FIRST TIME they've received a call in regards to my results. I've asked to speak to my doctor several times, and have been offered call-backs without ever receiving them. And on my most recent call, I was told they didn't take enough blood and I now need to come back in to get my FULL results. Unacceptable. If you are thinking of switching doctors, I would recommend looking anywhere else that you possibly could. This place should be shut down. If I could post "0" stars, then I'd still try to post "-1" stars. Bottom line... RUN

I am use to such great…read morecare with other doctors and worried **based on the reviews I saw** that it would be terrible. The establishment was warm, clean and friendly. The staff was polite and I sensed one of the women working there express a bit of frustration as someone that was calling her seemed to be demanding private information over the phone which is against policy. I was a new patient and was slipped in between patients!! I was happy to wait and could hear murmurs in the hall of the doctor talking to a patient about how thrilled she was that her cancer treatment was a success!! This being said, she had bigger fish to fry than my little meet and greet to get regular prescriptions filled...I was happy to see her Physicians assistant who was just absolutely polite, down to earth and unbelievably understanding!! I know that this review may seem over the top but if you see how little time i spend on reviewing restaurants or ANYTHING for that matter...you will see how important good healthcare is. I feel lucky to have her and hope that those that complain about her staff or having to wait for long periods of time take the time to manage their own time better and perhaps plan for the wait: because she is worth it.

She not only did not honor the request (after me clearing with insurance that the provider was in network which is why they assigned me to Agarwal) she assigns me to a provider in Huntington Beach from her very local office in Pomona after explaining both the request for continuity of care, and the need for a local provider. She bumbled my medication. Her office subsequently ignored several calls and a follow up visit was not available for me for three months. All with knowledge that I was a high risk diabetic with ongoing bilateral ulcers. At that follow up appointment she tells me she is retiring as a doctor and she would not fulfill any referrals for podiatry, or any other request. She is a calculated liar, as I called their office and asked when her last day as a doctor was to send her a card, the receptionist stated "she only retired from medi-cal patients" She is callus and unethical in her approach to a profession with care and compassion as core principles. Terrible doctor, would never recommend a cancer patient go see this doctor who could care less for another human being. In my experience and opinion that is.
