It's a hidden gem right off of Jones Road. The gym itself has everything you need - from equipment to dumb bells, and even TRX bands. I wasn't sure how I felt about it being 24 hours but it's always been clean, locked, and safe as there are cameras. I decided to sign up for personal training and haven't looked back. There aren't classes as Frank takes a personalized approach on Fitness. Coming from F45 where it was kinda rushed and I didn't get to lift heavy, I like that and have seen better results. He's credentialed in woman's fitness & corrective exercise which has been very helpful for me. His background in the military also helps as he's gonna ensure you're held accountable and will check in. There's definitely something about community that makes a gym successful and I think that's part of what will drive results. You're not going to find intimidating vibes here. There are definitely regulars but they have all been inviting in my experience. If you're looking to get stronger without injuring yourself, this is your spot!

I thought my dreams of being in-shape and fit were over until I met Frank. He's a personal trainer, a veteran, and he specializes in rehabilitation and rebuilding your body. I've been with a lot of trainers over the years in hopes to regain a body worth being proud of after being injured. I don't believe I would have been able to get as big and as strong without Frank. Since joining his gym and having him as a trainer, I've increased my squat from 185lbs to 500lbs, my bench from 135lbs to 315lbs, and my deadlift from 225lbs to 500lbs. The progress took a lot of time, but time is all I have, so I decided to invest it in a great trainer! Thank you Frank!

CrossFit sounds really intimidating for somebody who hasn't been physically active in a long time, but I received all the information I need to succeed. I have had many personal trainers throughout the years and none can compare to the quality of care given by the Behemoth coaches. Each class is full of instruction which allows you to feel comfortable and confident in your work out. Coach Aja checks in often to see how your meal plan is going and to answer any questions you may have. Everyone is very nice and welcoming, it truly is a great vibe and feels like family. You will leave your workout feeling accomplished!

These were not just instructors; they were seasoned warriors, masters of their craft, whose commitment to excellence was palpable in every session. Even if your goal isn't to do Mixed Martial Arts if you just want to focus on one whether you want to do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with No Gi, Wrestling, Muay Thai or Boxing. There are elite level trainers in them all. Daniel Pineda who is a UFC veteran and a world ranked fighter is one of the best fighters in the world is the coach for Jiu Jitsu. Tons of talent at the gym as well there are many amateurs and pros always fighting if you are interested and have a goal of learning as much as you can about MMA this is the perfect place. I have only been training for a few months and have gained a ton of knowledge here and I feel like I am only getting started. If you go in there with the right attitude just ready to work hard and absorb the knowledge you can be a sponge it can be the best experience ever. Chico who is the Muay Thai Coach also when he was in his prime was one of the best in the world this was before UFC he was in Strikeforce. Honestly if your goal is to compete in MMA and you are looking for a gym I would say 4 oz Fight Club is the best option. I have been to other small gyms that charge you way more and are nowhere near as good an option as 4 oz fight club whether we are talking about the students or the trainers. This is the best MMA gym in Houston forsure. My experience at 4 oz fight club although is still getting started and I still have a lot of work and training to do has been as good as it can be.

His strength and speed training…read morehave made significant improvements in my son's strength/speed/stamina and overall athletic performance. David has individualized the sessions for my son who plays football and wrestles at Cy Falls HS. As a high performing athlete you strive to be in better physical condition than your competition. Whether that competition is your own teammate (fighting for the starting position) or an on field/court/mat competitor. Genesis gives him that edge. The truth is the schools can't and don't offer a program that gets you to that level. GENESIS does and has done so for my son. David and his staff have developed individualized programs that not only prepare him for Football and Wrestling seasons, but keep him in peak shape DURING the season. Austin's speed, strength, stamina, explosiveness and athletic performance have improved substantially since he started at Genesis. Without question, there are few athletes at Cy Falls in his physical condition, which is due to his hard work, his desire to get better and the training/guidance of the Genesis staff. In addition to the training, Austin has been able to network with other top performing athletes in his sports that also work out at Genesis. Working out and with District/State Champions, College Athletes and other high performing athletes allows him to see the dedication it takes to get to those levels. Athletes at those levels push each other harder and don't slack off in the weight room. It also gives him a change to talk technique, tactics and strategy and build friendships with athletes he would not normally have access to. As a former Southwest Conference athlete (yes I'm that old), I am seriously envious of the training my son gets at Genesis and as every old guy does, I think how much better I could have been with this type of training. It is equal or exceeds many D-1 training/performance programs. It really is that good. In fact, if you think your son is already in peak condition, I would challenge you to letting him try a week at Genesis. I believe you will be shocked at how much better he can get and that he was not in as good as shape as you/he thought he was. Several others have taken my challenge and lost. Their kids are now working out at Genesis with Austin and becoming better athletes in the process. SO what do I really think. If your child is willing to do the work (they work their butt's off - watch the videos or just stop by), to be in absolute top physical condition when he/she is competing. Desires the advantage that peak physical conditioning gives one athlete over the other, than Genesis without a doubt is the place to send him/her. The reality is if you desire to be "All District / District Champion" or more you have to work harder than your competition. If your willing to do the work, Genesis will give you a serious edge in obtaining your goal.
