Worth area) in 2020. Watching her transform mentally & physically I was curious on what she was doing. Over several weeks of grilling her I decided to be brave & signed up for a class that is offered by my house & I am hooked. I am so glad I started training with Brandon as I was getting worried about my bone strength & having these horrible visions of having impaired mobility as I get older. At the camp, you go at your own pace & it is really exciting when you see/feel the milestones & improvements in your journey. After 3 months I am stronger, more flexible, faster & mentally I feel so freakin' good. Brandon will give modifications per exercise & is very hands on as he walks around to correct your form or to give you a shout out. His enthusiasm for what he does shows, he is truly vested in your journey. Did I mention he is the best trainer I've had? Ever? As mentioned above, every "camp" is different. And as I have the best trainer at CG that loves to mix things up. Don't be surprised to see cornhole, a basketball hoop or huge jenga in the parking lot. Each class is well thought out & the hour goes by very quickly. You work the whole body (cardio & strength) including your mind as Brandon leads you through a routine that makes you THINK about what you are doing or how you are going to do it. Camp Gladiator is a four week outdoor group fitness program. The workouts cycle per week & builds on the previous week's training. I like that there is a different focus per week: Week 1 - Endurance - "Full body workouts that keep your heart rate at a steady pace" Week 2 - Strength & Agility - "Agile movements to work on coordination & muscular efficiency" Week 3 - Interval - "High intensity workouts with short rest periods in between" Week 4 - Peak - "Challenging workouts that push you to your highest exertion level" This location is in the West parking lot of the Memorial Drive United Methodist Church (MDUMC!). I love this location because, duh, Brandon, it is a safe location & the people. Community is a focal point with CG & being in a class with people of different ages & fitness levels is motivating & fun. CG offers members access to unlimited workouts whether you hit an outdoor class or a virtual workout (there are so many virtual classes to choose from across 7 states). So come out & join me one fine morning at Camp Gladiator - MDUMC. One class with Brandon & you will see why I am so enthusiastic about my fitness journey. AND Brandon offers coffee after camp. Get your sweat on, grab a cup of exceptional java, hang out with other campers & don't forget to say Hi to Finley, the cutest side-kick dog! See ya there!!!!!!!

Before hiring him, I told him I needed someone who could come to our place to workout with my son since my son doesn't have transportation, I told him that was a must. He agreed to come to our place for the workouts, so I paid him to secure a spot for my son. Days later, he tells me he doesn't have transportation and asks if I can take my son to his place for the workouts. I thought I made myself very clear about the transportation part of this agreement, but apparently, I wasn't clear enough. On the day the first workout was scheduled, he cancelled, we rescheduled for the next day, he cancelled again, this ended up becoming a pattern. Three weeks later, he texts me to tell me he can no longer train my son and asks me to request a refund for the three remaining sessions he owes me, however, he owes me for six sessions. When I went to respond to him that he owes me for six sessions, he had already blocked my number. Very disappointed to be taken advantage of by this person!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Ryan is not just a personal trainer for me but also a great teacher. I have learned from him more about nutrition, fitness, and everyday health maintenance than I ever did in my life before (I'm now age 44). I am greatly appreciative of Ryan's help and plan to continue using his vast knowledge and experience in making me a better person each and every day, both mentally and physically. I highly recommend him as an excellent personal trainer and health advisor.

He wasn't very apologetic for these errors, in one case blaming me for his misunderstanding - a sign of things to come. I was livid, but I chose to carry on because he will not refund unused sessions. The ensuing attempts to resume my workout routine were rife with communication errors, and despite my request--and his agreement--to send appointment confirmations in advance, he would not send them until the morning of the workout itself - often only a couple hours before it was to take place. When I finally reached my wits end with his lackadaisical attitude, I contacted him to see if we would refund a portion of my unused workouts as a sort of compromise. What ensued was the most unbelievable conversation I've ever had. He proceeded to blame me and my inconsistent schedule as the reason he didn't bother to send out confirmations in advance anymore. For every issue I had with his communication, he blamed my schedule. He was argumentative and rude, and did not even attempt to listen to any sort of compromise. Instead, he continued to profess that the problem was my schedule and that he would've sent confirmations out if I had solidified more than just one week of my schedule at a time. He never accepted any responsibility for his mistakes, brushing his missed appointments off as "simple human error" despite leaving me waiting during those times. My workouts with Tony were alright, but he's just not flexible. My job is demanding and I don't always have the luxury of knowing weeks of scheduling in advance. In the end, the lack of professionalism he displayed was simply too much to bear. I walked away from several hundred dollars worth of sessions because he just can't be reliable.
