This Planet Fitness location meets just about all of my expectations for most Planet Fitness…read morelocations. We've been to quite a few and this one excels at most of their points. The staff are super friendly, the area is very spacious, no issues with parking, and the amenities are easy to use. None of the machines were down or out of order. All of the amenities that you would expect are on point such as their tanning booth, Hydra massages, and total body enhancement machine for black card membership holders. One downside is that the ceiling is kind of low compared to some other Planet Fitness locations. As a result, heat built up is a significant factor. Coupled with the fact that there aren't really any big ceiling fans makes for and easily overly sweaty gym session if you're expecting a well ventilated gym floor. Otherwise, it's still very convenient if you happen to be in the area.

I've never had a gym membership so this is my first experience with one. I normally workout at home in my garage but because of unforeseen circumstances, I no longer have any workout equipment which has forced me to sign up for a gym membership until I can establish my own workout gym in my garage again. Upon entering the building, I was overwhelmed by how huge the building is on the inside. I was greeted by Nicole who was working the circulation desk on this day. She was very friendly and welcoming. I appreciate how helpful she was in explaining the sign-up process, which was super easy. Nicole also gave me a thorough tour of the gym, placing special emphasis on some of the cool perks that are included with the Black Card membership, such as the use of massage chairs, hydro massage chairs, tanning, and total body enhancement. In addition to the massage chairs, you're also allowed to bring one guest per visit to accompany you. Furthermore, this establishment is fully equipped with cardio equipment, and a little less equipped with weight equipment. There's plenty of television monitors suspended from the ceilings displaying a plethora of tv programs ranging from reality shows, weather channels, daily news, tv series, and more. In addition to the 50 thousand television monitors provided for your entertainment and pleasure, there's music blaring from an overhead speaker which is really annoying to me. If you're anything like me and you're easily annoyed by unnecessariness syndrome, then it would behoove you to bring your AirPods and tune everything out with some extremely motivating workout music blasting in your ears. It really helps me a lot! Overall, this Planet Fitness is a nice gym equipped with the necessary tools needed for one to maintain their physical health and appearance. Customer service is always pleasant. The workers always greet me with an exciting, friendly, and welcoming spirit each and every visit. I think I'm starting to like it a lot. I am slowly working my way back up to lifting but for now my main focus is cardio, in which this gym has plenty of. It helps to bring a buddy along who's just as motivated and serious as you are about maintaining their health. I highly recommend this establishment.

I've been a Lifetime member on and off since 2013, and consistently at this location for the past…read moretwo years. There was a time I truly looked forward to coming here, but lately, that feeling has shifted. Earlier this year (around February or March), there was an incident where a man entered the women's locker room - far enough in that it was clearly not an accident. I reported it immediately to staff, but I never received any follow-up, which felt unsettling, especially given how tucked away the women's locker room is from the men's. Additionally, the equipment at this location feels outdated compared to other clubs. There are frequent maintenance issues, and the overall layout doesn't seem optimized for peak times. If you're hoping to train legs for example between 4-7 PM Monday through Wednesday, be prepared to wait - often long - for machines or platforms etc. Interuptions during your sets are the norm. Even gyms with a significantly lower price point, like EOS and planet fitness, have more versatile equipment (e.g., a dual abductor/adductor machine), which could be a worthwhile upgrade here. Crowding has also become a major issue. Over the past couple of months, the gym has felt consistently packed regardless of the time of day. If there's a new sign-up promotion running, it may be worth re-evaluating how it's impacting existing members. It's incredibly difficult to follow a structured workout when you have to constantly rearrange your routine just to get access to equipment (if you're lucky). Parking has also become a huge deterrent and adds another layer of stress to each visit. The class schedule is not great either, as a yogi, i rarely have the opportunity to attend a class, and wish they had AM sessions available. Pickleball courts are fresh and new, but are first come first serve, and since they have been installed, have not had a chance to use them, due to strenuous wait times. Not to mention the amount of people who walk around with tripods at peak times recording, hence why i pay the fees to not be around people recording.. While I appreciate the under-26 discount, which brings the monthly cost down to around $220, I'm beginning to question whether the value is still there. I would really encourage management to consider updating equipment and rethinking capacity management - especially at peak hours. It's difficult to understand how this location is being ran when other nearby locations offer a much better experience for a similar price point. The one thing they do right is customer experience. I always enjoy getting to speak with the front desk staff and trainers. I really hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improvements, and helps out anyone who is considering spending $3000 a year to work out here.

Corporate gyms just want bodies to pay their monthly fees. But this place is personal and has your fitness goals in mind. I've seen a wide array of people who train here; from housewives getting in shape to powerlifters, to pro-bodybuilders. I love it since it's not crowded at all and you don't have to wait on equipment. Speaking of wide array, they have that in equipment as well, and they offer free training with the membership which helps a lot for fitness goals or for newbies who need a little help learning the equipment.

Ryan was very hands on with getting us signed up and gave us a tour of the gym. Even after joining, he still checks in with us during workouts to make sure we are satisfied or if we have questions. If I need assistance with equipment or questions about lifts he stops what he's doing to discuss/demonstrate movements which is great. The gym has plenty of equipment and space and even during COVID we've never felt overcrowded or unsafe. We're extremely happy with Epicenter and look forward to being longterm member.
