We used Ecoblu to build a pool and spa in our backyard a few years ago. Every year around this time…read moreI'm starting to use the pool again and I'm reminded of what a bad choice that was. 1. The round spa is built next to the pool and would have been lovely except only half of the outside of the spa was tiled. Unfortunately the tiled side was the side facing the house behind us and the solid cement side was facing the house. It looked really ugly. When I asked the owner why he made that choice he said to save money. Of course, why did he choose to tile the side facing AWAY from the house? Initially I thought that wasn't too smart but then I realized maybe it was very smart because of course we had to pay them to tile the ugly cement side facing the house. Of course he didn't communicate any of this to us. 2. The steps into the pool and spa are very narrow and steep. I'm only in my 60s but it's already very difficult for me to get in and out of the spa and pool. At some point I am going to have to drain the pool and redo the steps. Will be very expensive. The owner is super nice though.

We're close to just doing it ourselves for the price they charge for the mediocre service. Update: I did communicate that we were disappointed with the amount of time spent on our pool cleaning, which literally is 5 minutes, I took a video timing it actually. The owner defended his employee stating he has several pools to clean in one day. I don't expect perfection, but I expect more than a guy stopping over to drop chlorine tablets in fir the price paid. Our tech was a nice young man, very kind to our dogs and us. Too bad he has so many clients and wasn't able to provide more than 5 minutes of time on our pool. After posting this review, the owner emailed me terminating our service immediately. Hmmm...seems if he really cared, he would have called me to discuss. I wish our tech the best.

She was always available gave regular updates, so we always knew what was happening next. As life goes, sometimes things don't work out perfect, but Anna was responsive to all my questions and asks, and made sure we were satisfied with everything in the end. We opted to go with total tile/pebble tech removal and replacement. My pool was about 15 years old and was really starting to show its age. Anna came to the house and showed me different selection of pebble Tec which I could choose. We decided to go with one kind of pebble Tec however I changed my mind a week before the pebble Tec was put in and decided to go with a lighter color. Anna was gracious about this change and at no point acted as if it was an inconvenience to her. They started the job the exact day that they said they would start the job. We did get delayed by a couple of weeks due to supplies. I would say 80 to 90% of pool tile is out of stock! I think that this is par for the course since 2019 in almost every industry. If you are having your pool remodeled or installed initially get ready to be patient because concrete is back ordered for sometime. The entire process took 4 to 5 weeks and was cheaper than the competitors. We are enjoying the pool and we're happy that we used
