Love Dr. Atwal and his staff. Recently had a tooth extraction done and had a great experience. Dr. Atwal is articulate, patient, and adept. At the same time, he is very kind. Any questions I had were answered. The same goes for his staff, front and back office. The girls are all friendly and very helpful. Doctor also called to check on me that evening to make sure I was ok. It was nice to hear from the doctor himself. I am truly thankful that I decided to go to Anthem Dental and Implants. This is the most incompetent dentist and staff, Dr Atwal only cares about how to charge for additional treatment and bill the insurance for something he did wrong and had to 'fix' which he couldn't.. he acted like he didn't want to be there or do any work, all irritated and annoyed that he had to work on my teeth..??!! Not to even start on the assistants, he hired all these student kids that have no idea what they're doing as he was coaching them during my procedure which was time sensitive and 8K later my veneers are still messed up and I need a new replacement.. terrible!!! read more

DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they ask you to sign a blanket waiver giving full consent stating they can do any procedure and administer any drugs they want to. A crown that was abt 10 years old fell off and they brought me in already and are taking care in replacing the crown. Everyone was amazing and kind. I was a little short in patience's because it was getting dark and I can't see well at night, but that is not their fault, and still they had a lot of patience's with my hungry attitude. (I was really hungry too) . Doc was very polite and kind. Hopefully he will do a better job with my teeth - than the dentist I had from a different practice. read more

Worst experience of my life it's been almost 2 months still in pain. Doctor acted like he didn't care Just wanted to get the work done Evan assistant didn't know what she was doing he had to keep telling her what to do. I had to go to the ER after they extracted. My tooth. Gave me a round of antibiotics. Didn't work came back said everything looked fine. Gave me more antibiotics gave me a referral, but I'm still in pain still hurting and I'm still paying for a visit. I don't understand how I can still be in pain and it feels like he don't even wanna deal with me mouse still infected so I don't know if you messed me up or what he do, but I know I was sitting in a chair for about an hour, lightheaded and dizzy after whatever they did to me, I would not recommend going on here. I'm even in the process of suing don't trust who he referred me to now have to go to a oral surgeon and pay more money i tried to give them the benefit of the doubt read more

Very rude front staff! Will not answer the phone. I physically came in to book an appointment and was discouraged and treated unfairly right off the bat. The lady I spoke with in person was D, said they were booked up for over 2 months and wasn't able to answer questions and was very rude when I asked simple questions about my exam and cleanings, etc. Everyone I dealt with here either over the phone or in person has an attitude and very judgmental and unprofessional. There are never any hidden fees and the are very familiar with insurance. The only reason I can leave any stars is for Diane and the nice receptionist. They are always very friendly. I have had quite a few fillings, and more often than not, I feel like my teeth are worse AFTER I leave. I haven't actually seen Dr. Latifi for a while and in her place was a man named Dr. Tom (?). I was not impressed. I feel like the filings were sub par and messed with my bite. My teeth became sensitive after seeing him, and they had never been sensitive before. I'm torn-- I love Diane, but I genuinely dread coming to this office whenever I have to deal with the actual dentist. Update: So Dr. Latifi is back, which is great! Back to being a happy client. My favorite dentists. Dr Newtson and Dr Timpson are superb. One thing that made me really happy is that they have all the equipment to do permanent crowns on the spot. Worst dentist EVER!!! She cannot do root canals herself. On TWO different occasions she "found" cavities and needed me to come in "immediately" to get them completed. A week or so after my filling was done that tooth (or in my more recent case both teeth, one on the right and one on the left) would start hurting! Being sensitive to the cold and hot, sweets and hard.... This last time was during Christmas time :(. She checked them out and nothing was wrong but he sent me to a root canal specialist because she can't do them herself. I had to pay this other dr to check out my teeth (another copayment) and tell me nothing is wrong. Bottom line is I paid her to do my fillings, her to check them out again, another guy to tell me I'm fine and I'm still living in pain!! And for future reference, she doesn't do root canals BUT the root canal specialist she sends everyone to doesn't completely finish the root canal himself. You go to the specialist, he does the root canal, and you have to go BACK to anthem dental to get it completed!!! How crazy is that? It's like they work together to squeeze money out of every customer!!! read more

We have been going to Dr. Kathy Latifi since January 2007 and are pleased with services rendered. We find her thorough and attentive and the Crown and Bridge work are done right the very first time as is other work performed. Additionally the Hygienist Diane and support staff are very good and easy to work with. Her pricing is fair, verified by our daughter who is a Hygienist. Anthem Dental - 10960 S Eastern Ave # 112, Henderson, NV 89052 - WORST DENTIST EVER My company changed insurance providers, and with that came new dental insurance. I had to find a new dentist who took my insurance. Anthem Dental was the closest provider to my home. I called to make an appointment and verify insurance info and asked if I could have a cleaning and exam on the first visit so I would not miss a lot of work. I was told that would be fine and they took my appointment. When I got there I had to fill out tons of paperwork about payment plans. I had extensive X-rays done, then my exam (without a cleaning first, which to me seemed very odd). Then I was told I needed to come back for the cleaning on another day because I did not make an appointment? I was then informed that I had 3 cavities and I needed to return for that. I asked for the dentist to show me the cavities in the x-rays and she came back and said she was wrong the cavities are right next to a filling so I could not see them... I agreed to come back. As I left, I was asked how I wanted to pay the additional cost for the x-rays. I explained my insurance covers, x-rays, fillings, cleanings and there is no additional cost. She said she would take care of it. When I came back for my second appointment I was asked that since I was replacing 3 fillings would I like to upgrade from silver to white for $25 per filling that the insurance will not cover? I agreed. After 5 injections the dentist finally got me numb enough to drill and she replaced 3 fillings that I will never forget. As I was leaving I was ready to pay the $75 for the 3 fillings and the receptionist said the amount was $225 for the 9 fillings and $75 for Novocain and $150 for x-rays that are not covered for a total of $450... I tried to explain that I only had 3 fillings and that I should only owe $75 she said that was fine so I paid the $75 I got a receipt and happily left in a lot of pain without the cleaning. A week later I got a bill for the full amount outlining cleaning and 9 fillings. A complete rip off... Anthem Dental was paid by the insurance company in full and then partially by me. I consider this dentist to be a lying cheat and a crook with the dental skill of a prison barber. After our insurance company paid the payment in full and threatening to send me to collections I told them I only had 3 fillings in my whole mouth and they were charging me for 9 so I was going to report them as insurance fraud, they then marked the account as paid in full. This dentist is absolutely the worst, socially un-functional person I've ever met, with even worse dental skills. This has no doubt been the worst experience I have ever had at any dentist. Do not use Anthem Dental of Henderson Nevada. read more

Do not go to this dentist she did more harm then good I have to go get her work redone and a tooth pulled that she went to close to the nerve I have been in pain ever since ! I don't know where she went to school but she doesn't need to be touching anyone teeth! I had work done not to long ago and crazy enough I am experiencing the same issues. What is up with these dentist out here,dang! You would think they are in the profession to help your teeth not further damage them. I had filings done and now I can't chew food at all on the side that was done. I too was referred to that root canal specialist! I just had a small cavity and I believe they just drilled too far into the tooth. So instead of them saying oh we messed up, they quickly say "ooooohhh you need root canal"??? Most people don't like going to the dentist in the first place because of reasons like these! Gosh I am just in complete limbo now. I thought I finally found a good dentist but to see the same issue in these reviews dating back a few years and they sound like similar experiences I had is just awful! I really nd my teeth fix now bad because I can't even chew basic foods,not to mention my bite is completely off and at times I bite my bottom lip. Now how sad is that? They want the money up front but you can't get satisfactory service up front!? Not only that they owe me money for the over payment I made and I have yet to see that!
