The price was fair so I moved forward with treatment. He got to my place in the designated time and quickly got to work. He was very nice and answered all my questions. He sprayed the unit and put a gel bait in the cracks. He even moved my fridge and oven to get behind them and spray and leave bait in those borders as well. I'm praying the spraying and bait work to get rid of the pests. I just moved in to my apartment 4 days ago from California and haven't even unpacked hoping to get this situation resolved. I wish I…read morecould give a good review after using these guys for a year but nothing can make up for poor customer service. They come once a quarter and will spray the perimeter of your house for 5 minutes and call it a day. After I complained that there are wasps and roaches still crawling around the exterior and eventually getting into the house, they sent the technician out again to do the same thing. They also said they can not really control pests outside the house (then what is the point of just spraying out there each time and charging me for it?). I understand if this is a one time service but if I'm paying for your services every few months then I expect not to have a pest problem on my exterior walls. Sorry I don't have pictures of the roaches because they come out at night. Finally, I went away for a little over 3 months for work and got an email telling me I needed to pay for the last visit that had occurred while I was away or it would be turned over to collections. I had already told them that I do not need this service if they can not take care of the wasps because obviously I will not have this problem over the winter months. All my previous visits were paid for except the last one because I was not home to receive the bill. $80 is not a big deal for me and I have already paid it, but to send an email like that during a pandemic where many people will struggle to make ends meet shows you the character of this company. I emailed directly to the owner himself, Brian, and told him regardless of whether service was rendered or not, I am not a satisfied customer and I have made that very clear. If he wants to charge a customer for services that they are not happy with then that is his decision. After a few back and forth responses, he declined to take any ownership of the issue and so I paid. Needless to say I will not be using them again.

This company was referred to me by my property management for pest control services. The first…read moremajor issue was that I never received any call, text, or email confirming an appointment. Out of concern, I reached out directly to the vendor to clarify scheduling. From the very beginning of the call, the representative who answered was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She told me, in a blunt tone, that an appointment had already been scheduled "whether I confirmed or not," and that they would be coming regardless of my consent. Hearing this was alarming and completely inappropriate. As a tenant, it is my legal right to be given notice and to provide consent before anyone enters my home. I live alone with my young children, so boundaries and safety are very important to me. When I tried to explain this, the representative doubled down on her attitude, insisting they were coming regardless. At that point I did lose my cool, and I acknowledge that -- but only because the conversation began with them insisting on entering without my permission. No tenant should be spoken to that way, especially regarding access to their private residence. Instead of de-escalating, the representative abruptly hung up on me. I then spoke with another staff member, hoping for a more reasonable interaction. Unfortunately, the situation only escalated further. This person accused me of making "threats" and said that because of this, the company would not provide service and would instead charge me a "trip fee." This was outrageous because no appointment had ever been confirmed, meaning there was no trip to cancel and no legitimate basis for any fee. For the record, I never made threats. What I said was that if anyone attempted to enter my home without my consent, I would protect myself and my children. That is not a threat -- it is a clear boundary and a legal right every tenant has. Their attempt to twist my words into something more serious felt like an effort to avoid responsibility for their own unprofessional conduct. What troubled me the most was the follow-up. I was told outright that I could not write a review about this experience and that doing so would be considered "slander." That statement was not only false but also deeply inappropriate. Consumers have the right to share factual accounts of their experiences. Honest reviews are not slander, and attempting to silence me only reinforced my concerns about this company's lack of professionalism and accountability. To summarize, this company: Failed to obtain my consent before scheduling service. Claimed they could enter my home whether I agreed or not. Spoke to me rudely and hung up on me. Mischaracterized my words as "threats" when I was only standing up for my rights. Tried to charge a trip fee for an appointment that never existed. Attempted to intimidate me by saying I could not leave a review. This entire situation turned what should have been a simple scheduling matter into one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had with a service provider. Instead of respect and clear communication, I was met with hostility, misrepresentation, and intimidation. As a single parent with children in the home, I take matters of consent and entry very seriously. I expect vendors working with property management companies to uphold professionalism, follow proper legal procedures, and respect tenant rights. None of that happened here. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. THERE ARE SEVERAL REVIEWS WITH SIMILAR EXPERIENCES WITH THIS COMPANY! RUN RUN RUN! THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT PEST COMPANIES THAT DO NOT CONDUCT THEMSELVES THIS WAY!

Recently discovered a yellow jacket nest in our backyard so called Forsyth Exterminating…read more Office staff was great - very polite and professional and advised me of cost after I had sent pictures showing where the nest was located and the large boulder that it was apparently under. I called late on a Monday (near closing time) but the were still able to schedule me the very next morning between 8am and 10am. David arrived around 9am and was done by just before 11am. I was very impressed with how quickly he was able to both treat the nest and dig it out of the ground despite the aforementioned boulder being in the way.

After having a horrible experience with my previous home inspection I decided to try Family Shield…read moreby recommendation from a friend. I went in with low expectations due to my previous experience with a home inspector, especially since Family Shield had a lower price than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised. Chris spent an insane amount of time meticulously checking everything in the house I am purchasing. And I mean literally everything. From exterior to interior he found it all. And the great thing is he sort of explains things in laymen's terms to you so as not to overwhelm you with "OMG all of this must be fixed now!". He sort of lets you know "Hey this is a serious issue" and "This is not that unusual and is common for a house this age" etc. Very informative and all around just a nice guy. Actually enjoyed just chatting with him and learning from him. Ultimately he saved me a huge headache. The house was immaculate. Even he was impressed with how well it was maintained. But he found a moisture problem inside the ductwork that was resulting in mold literally being blown into your face over your bed at night as you slept. That's a SERIOUS health concern and would have gone right by my radar. And the seller didn't disclose it (though we found obvious clues that they knew about it). Get a home inspection people! I am now getting a house with a complete new HVAC system from top to bottom, inside to out, even ductwork.... all without a price increase, and all thanks to Chris finding the issue he found. He quite literally could have saved my child's life, or at least health. My last inspector missed things that anyone could have seen (stated there was a gas furnace when it was electric, rear deck literally seperating from the house, etc.). Family Shield found it all!
