This is the worst place to get your brows done. First off they're unsanitary (NASTY). They do not clean the tools after every customer. I had to stop her from using a used spoolie on my face right from another customer. The woman who did my brows just abruptly stepped aside and started off a conversation with the owner in their language. The owner came over and started on my brows. I found that odd after I've been in that chair for so long. When I checked the mirror all my hairs gone. The next day my brows were filled with scabs from that over threading. I'm like WTH the owner is trying to convince me that my brows are fine and it's a clean up. I'm too embarrassed to even post the pic. She then walked away and starts working on someone else's and had no other conversation with me. Man the way I was pissed I ended up walking away before I blew. To sum it up please stay away from this place. Go to herbal beauty down the block. I only went here because herbal beauty was closed that weekend. I gave specific instructions on how I wanted my eyebrows done. The woman providing the service did exactly what I asked her not to do. I grew out my eyebrows for two months and explained to her that I just wanted them cleaned up a little, leave them full, I know one of them is messed up but DO NOT FIX IT. When she's finishes I see an ugly shape that I didn't ask for, thin eyebrows and the messed up brow is now WORSE, and they are not clean at all. I told her I didn't like it and this is not what I asked for. Her response was that I should have told her and one of my eyebrows was messed up and she tried to fix it and give them a shape. If you did not hear or understand a customer's explanation of what they wanted why not simply ask them to explain again. I will not return here for ANY service. read more

So I've been coming here on and off for a few years...usually they are very nice and I always leave satisfied, but today, was ridiculous. I go in after work, so I have a full face of makeup on, including eyebrow pencil. As I'm sitting down, I tell her that I'm wearing makeup and eyebrow pencil and I ask for a tissue to wipe it off. She gives me the tissue, but before I can wipe them off, she lays me back and starts threading! I'm like "I have on makeup" and she's just not listening. She finishes, and tells me to check, and as I'm looking in the mirror, I can tell they're messed up because she was using my PENCILED IN EYEBROWS as a guide for where to thread. So she took hair from places she shouldn't have and left hair where she should have removed it. As I wipe the pencil from my face, I'm telling her my eyebrows are ruined because she wouldn't let me take off the makeup and she tells me "oh, your eyebrows were like that, I can see where the pencil was." First, no you couldn't tell because they looked worse than they had before, and this could have all been avoided if you would have allowed me the whole 45 seconds it would have taken to wipe the makeup from my eyebrows. It baffled me because why couldn't you wait- there was literally no one in the store! So needless to say, I will not be back, as she charged me FULL PRICE for essentially messing up my face. When i arrived first my first one, the woman who did the facial marked it as redeemed but said i will not have a problem getting my second facial. Guess what? Got my eyebrows done here and I felt like I was rushed. There was someone there getting her eyebrows done and once she finished I was asked to sit in the chair. The customer then decided she wanted a Henna tattoo so the woman doing my eyebrows was rushing to finish to get back to the customer. She didn't bother to greet me or ask how I would like my eyebrows. Once it was done, she went back to discussing the henna tattoo with the customer and had me waiting to pay. I asked for a half an inch cut off, no layers, just an angle in the front, basically just clean up what I had. I've had bad hair cuts before but this was by far the worst. I saw a groupon for 2 facials for $55. Groupon had 25% off of that (so 2 facials were coming out to $41) . So I figured instead of purchasing the groupon, let me call them and pay the amount in the salon so they get the amount instead of groupon taking away half of it. I went for the first facial. It was average. I paid $41 for two facials. I made an appointment for a second facial the same day. I went in for my second facial. Average. She asked me to pay. I was like oh I already did that the first time I came, you gave me groupon pricing. She asked me for a receipt (which of course i threw out) but I had the charge on my card. The so-called manager is telling me "no one pays for two services at once" and "show me proof you paid." This woman has NO regard for customer relations. She would NOT listen to me. She told me she will report me. She was beyond rude and so illiterate talking about "if muslims cheat and lie what kind of impression do you give the world" and "you're making up stories." What does my religion have to do with my facial.....You're the one making up the fact that I didn't pay when I have proof of the charge on my credit card. If she had just shut her mouth for a minute and listened to me she would understand and realize that I had already paid in full for both services the first time I came. **The worst part is that she does not know how to talk to people respectfully. That is the worst thing you can do to a customer and that is how you lose business. If you have no record of what services are rendered, then how do you consider yourself a business? What kind of business accuses their customer of not paying for a service even after showing you proof of it? I do not have to keep track of their services, that is something they have to do as a functional business. Horrible service, and I'm a secret shopper! Stylist had no idea how to do color, my hair is now 4 diff colors. Eyebrows are ok as well facials except it's not a relaxing environnent. They are constantly Rushing you so they can get to another customer. Every time I go the prices are increased even with the same procedures I require! Used to love coming here and was a frequent visitor until they played with my money and I was not having it. I didn't have cash so I paid with my debit card for my eyebrows. It costs $5 for eyebrows and I had a literally $2 to give a tip. Later that night I'm checking my bank statement, and I saw that I was charged $10. I immediately call her and ask her why she charged my card $10. She said there is a $10 minimum. They NEVER told me there was a minimum when swiping my card, and if that's the case you shouldn't just charge what you want on a customers card. So I went here the day before my birthday as I usually do every year for my henna. The past 3 years had been fine until this year that I went and the henna literally lasted me 2days something that usually lasts 3-4 weeks on my skin! So I went two days later back into the salon to ask the lady why this had been happening when it never has before and she immediately brushed it off by just saying it would definitely darken in a few days and stain more, so I left and contrary to what she told me would happen the henna became lighter and faded as the days went by. So I went online and did some more reading and it turns out that henna only fades that soon if the ink is of very poor quality which was definitely the issue here. I was very disappointed and will certainly NEVER again go back to this place. Looks like i'll be having to find a new place to get my henna done moving forward! read more

I started getting my eyebrows threaded about 4 years ago and the first place I came to was ANS. 4 years later I've never been anywhere else! ANS really makes your eyebrows look great cause I'm always getting compliments on my eyebrows and the price is only $8 for men. Also every 5 visits you get a free one. All the workers at ANS are evenly good. They are professional and the salon is open late until 8pm during the week. They work fast and are very polite. For eyebrow threading and eyelash extensions this place is great! These are the only two services i have had here so far but I will definitely be trying some of their other services in the future. I come here routinely for my eyebrow threading and every staff memeber does and excellent job, the prices are very reasonable and they have a punch card which allows you to recieve a free threading after a certain number of visits. I recieved eyelash extensions for a few special events and they were placed perfectly and looked awesome. After a little bit of partying and losing some extensions one night i stopped in to have them fixed and the staff was very willing to fix for no additonal charge. She was talking on the phone while doing my eyebrows (which I didn't mind) but I had asked her to remove my eyebrow makeup so that she wouldn't take too much hair off. I have been coming here to get threading done twice a month for the last couple of months. This place is conveniently located for me as it is close to my home and job. I was going somewhere a little further that was much cheaper, had great customer service, and did a much better job. But since this place is so near and I'm sometimes pressed for time, I find myself always coming back. They do an okay job and it hurts a lot more than any other place I've been to but yesterday was the last straw. I'm never coming back. This place is always empty and now I understand why. Yesterday I came here to get my threading done like I always do. The women who were there I've never seen before. The threading was fine but once I came to the register to pay was when I was taken back. I always pay with my debit card. My threading was $10 and I always give them a tip as well. I take out my card and she tells me that there is a $20 minimum. Since when? I told her I've been coming here religiously for the past couple of months and I always use my card. Even if I did have cash the fact is I always use my card every time I go there. She continues to tell me it's a $20 minimum. And then she goes on to ask me well how much are you going to tip? I said $5 (I always give a tip but I really wanted to tip her nothing for being so rude!!!) then she goes on and charged $15 to my card when I usually write the tip in on the receipt that you sign. I will never come back here or tell anyone to come here. The customer experience is horrible. She clearly lied and said there was a $20 minimum when I've been coming here for months. Idk if she was trying to pocket more money or make me get something else done but I was not letting her charge my card $20 when my service was $10. The last time I was there was the beginning of this month. I've never had a problem paying with my card. They clearly don't care about loyal customers. The women I saw at this place were very rude. I came with a Groupon in May and just am getting to writing a review. I came in to get my eyebrows threaded & I had a Groupon for full arms & legs wax. When I went in, there was no one waiting so the lady there threaded my eyebrows and said she would do my wax after. After she threaded my eyebrows, a customer (walk-in) came in for her eyebrows. The lady said that I would now have to wait until the waxing lady was done with the other client in the back, so I asked her how long that would take and she said 10 minutes. I said no and that she would have to wax me as she said she would do since they have 2 rooms in the back. She rudely said that she didn't want to but I said that I had a booked appointment while the other lady was a walk-in, so she should rightfully honor my request first. She then got the walk-in customer involved and told her to explain it to me why I can't wait which is VERY unprofessional. I wouldn't budge so then she did have to wax me. When I left the place there were more than 4 total areas on my legs that were not waxed off & a huge patch on the back of one of my arms. Don't go here if you want a professional service done or want to be exposed to rude customer service. There are better places in this area with the same price that can do better service. read more

Owner is shady I used to go here to do my eyebrows all the time. One day I went in and my eyebrow lady was not there, the owner said she was on vacation so I let her do my eye brows. It was ok. I went back a couple times more in hopes to see my eye brow lady, nope nothing .... I started to notice bald spots in my eyebrows so I stopped going to this place. Only one problem... I got my hair done by the beautician and I liked it. She did the kertain. Thankfully I only need it once a year so I went back when a year was up and there was the owner. She said Hi you dont come to do your eyes brows anymore and I said yeah I do them myself. The beautician did my hair, she put a different Kertain in my hair. A couple days later after washing my hair, it was hard. I called up the salon and spoke to the beautician and explained to her the problem and she put the owner on the phone who said I would have to pay again. I was livid !!! I hung up! I've been coming here for a few years usually for eyebrow threading, on occasion I've had a facial. The staff has always been welcoming and warm- and are able to keep up with trends (they don't make my eyebrows super thin and artificial looking like some places!)
