I really enjoy ABE in Indy but also enjoy etrying the other locations in various states. The ambience was very nice with a good college vibe. My daughter and I just finished the Purdue 5K and was ready for a nice hot meal and coffee. Staff were helpful and friendly. I used the No wait/Get in line app and only waited 4 minutes and it was busy because of the 5K and half marathon finishers. I tried their St. Charles which is similar to what I get at the Indy location (Cafe Meridian) which consisted of coffee, Bailey's, godiva and kahlua. The city grits are always a must because they are full of flavor and creamed with gouda cheese, green onions , baked bacon and so much goodness. Outside seating was available but we chose inside. Parking was okay but to be expected being a college town. read more

Fantastic breakfast! Not a "been there, ate that" establishment! This place always keeps it fresh and puts a new spin on breakfast whether you order from a specialty menu like this week's Southwest menu or the regular menu...Delish! I have never been a grits girl, but after having the City Grits, I am! The breakfasts are HUGE--order from the Sides menu alone and you will be pleased with the quantity! Service is attentive and friendly! I've marked this place for the. Ext time we visit West Lafayette! read more

The best coffee I've had anywhere in West Lafayette! Excellent service, great food quality! Their Black Bean Benedict, when available, is a must try! read more

I really loved this place. The menu is delicious. I came here for brunch. They have your basic brunch items, omelets, scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, american breakfast, etc. but then they also have interesting items such as brie omelets, quinoa bowls, power bowls, just very delicious and healthy stuff, loved it! They have every kind of omelet you can think of also! The service was amazing, our server was super nice, and the food came out very quick. Will definitely be back, I just saw that there is Another Broken Egg Cafe near my home in Florida (which I had never been because I had never heard of it) but now that I know what it is and how delicious it is I will for sure go there very often! read more

This was terrible. Never come here. I would rather eat the slop that they serve at the Purdue dining courts than wait over an hour for the food they serve here. I wish there was a way for me to do less than one star, but alas, Yelp is not structured in such a way. Please understand that this review is not written out of hate, but spite. Take my advice, and stay away. read more

Decided to give this place another shot. It'll be the last. Great drinks. Cold food, again.Food was colder than the drinks. We got their specialty: eggs Benedict. Cold, over poached eggs, soggy English muffin. Told them it was cold, and they must have put it in the microwave. $15 for reheated eggs Benedict. Over rated. The two stars are for the drinks. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe is awesome! The staff and menu are outstanding. I've been here twice on recent visits to drop my son off at Perdue and both times was very pleased by how great an experience it was. I had the cinnamon roll french toast with a side of really good bacon and it was soooo good that even though I wanted to try something new the 2nd visit, I had to have it again and it did not disappoint! The wait staff could not be more attentive, the place is really cute and comfy and right on campus. I will keep coming back! read more

A little slow on the service uptake, but food was amazing when it did arrive. Recommend the grits appetizer and the coffee. Waffle was perfectly crisp and chewy at the same time. They are pet friendly! Even bring the pups a bowl of water. read more

Great food and service!! Shrimp and grits are super rich so be careful as it's sooooooooooooo good!! The peach cobbler pancakes are good too. Ask for extra peach cobbler stuff though!! Chicken and waffles were also a winner!!! The crawfish scramble was also a hit along with the chocolate chip pancake. Nice breakfast upgrade. Not five stars because it is expensive for what you get. But the portion sizes are decent. read more

I had the Broken Egg Chicken and Biscuit Sandwich--it was very good. Perfect ratio of gravy to biscuit to chicken to egg (definitely get over easy or medium!) The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is the prices--it's hard to get anything under $10, even pancakes, which shouldn't ever be more than $10 in my opinion. read more

This is our first time in West Lafayette, we like to explore new places and this place was highly recommended. We were not disappointed, the food was delicious, the coffee was good, the staff was great and they were very child friendly! Finding a place to eat with an eighteen month old is not always the easiest but they were very accommodating and seemed to genuinely enjoy having us. I would definitely recommend. read more

Loved this restaurant! Best breakfast we've had in awhile! The monster cinnamon roll was ok, not what we expected. But the omelet & potatoes were the best! I purchased the coffee mugs & absolutely love them! Every Time we visit Purdue we will be returning. Well worth the wait! read more

Great breakfast spot and proximity to Armstrong Hall makes it a popular lunch meeting favorite.

The food was delicious! They serve breakfast and dinner. The chicken wings are fantastic. Veggie omelette and potatoes were so god. The burgers are also great. The staff are friendly. Great place to eat breakfast or dinner. read more

Upscale southern-style brunch restaurant across from Mackey arena. I've had some amazing meals here, including French toast, mimosas, crab cakes (they do it right!), and shrimp and grits!! We used the No Wait app and were seated right away. Love the atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Parking is in the back of the building. read more

Great food! Had the lobster and Brie omelet. Service was great as they have very tasty coffee. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is the best brunch money can buy in the West Lafayette. The staff is friendly and they always check in on your table. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the tables are usually clean. The food is delicious. I always order the biscuit beignets and the chicken and waffles. My only problem with the place is that it's too popular! The wait can be long and my family and I usually can't eat there. But when we do eat there, it's always a great experience. read more

Terrible would not recommend poor check in management. Was told an hour went way beyond. Will not return ever

Easily the best breakfast I've had in Lafayette area! Service was prompt, courteous, and super patient with my picky 4 year old. Never before have i been to place where the food was prepared so fast just minutes after placing our order and beyond delicious too! Definitely look forward to returning soon! read more

Not worth the crazy lines and a little over priced. They are understaffed and the meal took longer then I had wanted too. I had the steak with eggs Benedict, crab meat and a English muffin. The hollandaise was too sweet to my liking and left a nasty mayonnaise after taste in my mouth. There were bits of crab shell in the crab meat. But overall I understood the concept they were trying to establish. Music was a little too loud. But it was a clean and nice place. Staff was nice and friendly. read more

Do their servers go through some sort of friendliness training? The service is awesome and if you use the yelp check in app you don't have to wait long--even on Sunday morning. I've had both the shrimp and grits and the french toast; both sweet and savory were delicious. Coffee is wonderful, and they'll send you with a cup to go. Great food, great service, great choice for brunch in West Lafayette. read more

Like Don Pablos, the menu fools the customer into thinking food might actually taste excellent here. However, after eating the breakfast here several times, I've concluded that the food is only so-so for my tastes. Potatoes are super salty and when I asked for them not to be salted, the wait staff who attended to our table seemed insisted that I should have them salted. Advice: maybe have your staff try the food so they actually know what they're serving? I think this place could have so much potential. Please don't make it just another mediocre breakfast establishment in this town. There's far too many of those already and we don't need any more. read more

Fantastic place. A great surprise after I went back to visit West Lafayette. It is a new place, wonderful, great healthy choices and the price was reasonable. Service is awesome. I plan to return when I get the chance to visit. read more

We had to wait but it was so worth it! Our waitress was very friendly and gave us wonderful service. Coffee was delish as well as the popeye scramble. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time! read more

The food was unimpressive(sometimes bad) and was much more expensive the comparable places. The only possible advantage this place has is its proximity to the campus and the cleanliness. Pumpkin pancakes were way too sweet and the omelette was unimpressive. read more

I was not impressed at all. The food was overpriced, and honestly looked very pretentious. I think this place would be so much better by keeping the menu simple. I ordered the omelet with crabs and stuff, thinking it would be different from the norm. But the crab stuffed in the omelet tasted like it was from a can, and to make things worse the cream cheese was completely out of place. I've learnt my lesson: when it comes to breakfast stick with the basics. However, if you work at Purdue, it is a convenient place to get to during lunch breaks. But be prepared to pay at least $15 per visit. read more

Probably the best breakfast place close to Purdue campus. I have been coming here ever since I came to Purdue. They have many healthy choices for people who are on a low calorie diet. I love this place but it can get crowded on the weekends. read more

I cant recall ever dealing with a ruder employee in food service than the host working today (9/2/19). I came in and asked to be seated and he insisted that I sit at the bar despite my repeated requests not to. Finally I just left because he wasnt changing his mind. read more

I have had two different experiences at another broken egg cafe at Purdue that I want to review. The first time i came to another broken egg i was not impressed. The food tasted really good (i got a cinnamon roll french toast) but the service wasn't great. My drink was empty and I could see my server talking to other servers at the bar instead of doing her job. She never smiled and seemed very uninterested in doing a good job at all. The guy who brought out our food was very friendly and offered to get me a refill. 2/5 Today I came back and I was very pleased with my visit. The food was delicious, my server (Ryan) was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The person who delivered my food made sure everything was perfect before leaving and the manager (Cole) was very nice. He asked if I wanted a copy of the news paper when he took me to my table and he even stopped by to make sure the meal was good before I left. I will be requesting Ryan's table when I return. 5/5 read more

Another Broken Egg is way more delicious than a chain restaurant has any right to be. My mother and I had lunch here one day and were so delighted with the food that we came back the next day for breakfast. Everything I've had has been creative and delicious - Another Broken Egg has quickly become a regular dining destination! read more

I've been here a few times since they opened and it is safe to say that this is my favorite new restaurant in the Greater Lafayette area. When they first opened, they were a little slow on the uptake, food and service were sometimes slow, but I wanted to give them some time to adapt because it was a new restaurant and great tasting food. I'm glad I did because the service has been great every time I've come lately. My husband and I come on the weekends, and they're almost always a wait during brunch, but they do encourage you to use an app called No Wait almost like a call-ahead seating. We seem to always forget to do this, but their hosts are very sweet and have always accommodated us quickly. As a mentioned, the service has gotten increasingly better since they opened, and one of my favorite servers is an older woman with short black hair (I'll have to ask her name next time!) - very friendly, and she always has something new to suggest to try. I'm not lying when I say everything we've tried has been great, but our favorites are the Eggs Blackstone (eggs benedict with bacon added!) and the Baqezo Omlette. read more

Just skip this place. Service was slow and food was not special. Wife's food came out cold and hard . Took forever to get a servers attention to assist with it. 2nd poor experience. Will not go back. Better places to get breakfast in the area. read more

Came here for brunch twice since my fiance was craving some beignets after NOLA trip. And in lafayette this is the only place I cld find with some. The place was a pleasant surprise. We had a 20 min wait both times but since they text you when the table is ready. The beignets were decent not like Nola but definitely good! We liked their benedict as well as the biscuit and gravy! The special sauce they hve jst adds a kick to everything! Service was good too! read more

I love a good brunch - a salmon Benedict will get me through any tough situation. The food is certainly outstanding here, but for the price, it's a place you might want to visit only on special occasions. read more

Every time I've been here, the food and service have been pretty good! The breakfast items are cooked well and don't taste anything like IHOP or Denny's. The space is a bit small, but intimate. They give you generous portion sizes, so if you love to eat, you'll definitely be satisfied. The prices seemed high when I ordered a combo, but when I saw how much was on my plate, I was a happy camper! I'd suggest this place for a lunch date for you a few of your friends or a quick bite in between classes. read more

I got a coupon for a free appetizer so I decided to try the place. The free appetizer that we got were the biscuit beignets and they were BOMB. Only down side was that it was that was SO sweet...basically they were donut holes covered in powder sugar so I would have much rather had them for dessert. That was the highlight though, our entrees (traditional breakfast and Lucy omelette) were pretty average breakfast food - my boyfriend even went as far to say that his omelette was flavorless. If I came back it would probably be just for the beignets. read more

We ate here before the football game this weekend and it was very busy. The food was good, but came out late. Would eat here again but I would hope the food time is normally not so long. read more

If you're looking for a tasty breakfast with tremendous service, this is your place! I have no personal connections to this place other than I love coming for breakfast. The coffee is also terrific. read more

The first time we were here it was fantastic! We couldn't wait to come back. The second time was just ok. We gave it a third try and very disappointed. Our waitress stood behind the bar for most of the time. The two of us had both ordered coffee. She never offered to refill our cups. Maybe it is just the training here but when you are not busy you should be walking around with a coffee pot in your hand asking can you top off anyone's cup. We gave it a fourth try and stood at the front door for quite a while. The employee behind the bar coming and going never acknowledged us. He could have a least said someone will be with you. Poor training. We won't be back. read more

The turkey with brie sandwich was excellent, and the others at my table were also pleased with their choices. Service was fine. Location is great if looking for a place across from Purdue. Next time I want to try their omelettes. read more
