My wife and I had one of those random days off of work where we didn't actually have anything we needed to do. We just spent the day together and have brunch. We're still very COVID-cautious so we wanted to try to eat outside. As we pulled up it started pouring rain. That was out. We decided to get it To Go and take it to nearby Airport Lakes Park. We placed our order and it gave us a very reasonable 15-20 minutes pickup time. My wife went in the pickup door after 15 minutes and proceeded to wait for almost 20 more minutes. She had a few people stop and ask her what she was waiting on, but they didn't actually help her. She said that 2 different servers asked her (meaning she didn't stop them, they were proactively trying to help) and said they'd look into it, but grabbed something and went right back out on the floor. She described it as useless helpfulness. They were kind and very interested in helping her and then didn't actually help her. I texted her to see what was happening and she said finally grabbed someone who looked in charge and they told her 10 more minutes, which was likely a stock answer and not a real answer. About 1 minute after that someone handed her a bag of food. But it wasn't all of the food, so she still had to wait a bit more for the 2nd piece. The food was pretty good, but actually getting our food dominated the visit. The packaging was pretty good, as well. On a fun note... thanks to all the time I spent in the parking lot in front of the exit, I've 100% identified their typical client base for a midweek brunch... a few random tourist families before their flight home and tons of mom groups. The sheer number of minivans in the lot was insane. You'd see 3-5 ladies come out and split up to their respective 3-5 minivans. They looked happy. Really great food, spiked cold brew- yummy! The description of my Godiva Chocolate Chip Pancakes: "Three house-recipe cakes, layered with chocolate cream cheese and chocolate chips, topped with powdered sugar and a fresh strawberry. Served with a side of Godiva® Chocolate Liqueur" I put all this to say don't expect the above if you order it. Mine had zero cream cheese, server didn't seem to care. She offered to bring the Godiva liqueur that was supposed to be served with it, but wasn't. If I hadn't had that they would have been just every day chocolate chip pancakes I make for my kids. I'm a Benedict eggs fanatic. I rarely order any other meal for breakfast. I ordered the one with tomatoes on it and no bacon. Good coffee as well. Excellent and fast service. Like the ambience of a legit breakfast house. If you want a decent breakfast after your long flight that's the place. Located nearby Orlando airport. Easy parking. My girlfriends and I came to Another Broken Egg for breakfast recently. It's located on Semoran Blvd down the road from the MCO airport so very convenient if you're flying out. It was a nice warm day and we decided to sit outdoors. Unfortunately the pandemic is still happening and we were happy to find that ABE was following Covid protocol and staff were wearing their masks. ABE had a super cute vibe! I didn't get a good look indoors but loved the set up for outdoor dining with the chairs with a pop of color (blue) and the big umbrellas, perfect for keeping you cool and in the shade. I tried the biscuits & gravy and it was fantastic! I'm very picky when it comes to sausage gravy and some places use a can to skip corners, but I could tell it was homemade, had great flavor and wasn't too salty. I also had scrambled eggs and bacon which were great. We had great service; I can't remember our servers name but he was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Two of my friends had the lobster and Brie omelette per his suggestion and they raved about it. I am definitely going to come back to try it. Going to be honest, there's been some time between eating there and this review. I do remember that the food was delicious!! I had the braised short rib and grits which was so creamy! The beef was fall-apart tender. They had a seasonal (I think) french toast that was topped with melty brie cheese and an apple compote - not to sweet, so good! My husband got something with shrimp, I don't remember the dish, but I do remember that it was delicious! So glad to have stumbled across this place while on the way to pick up our rental. read more

Three Strikes and you're out! I usually write detailed reviews, but this is not worth the 10 minutes of my life that I can't get back... Here are my disappointments 1. Ordered food from here twice my order was wrong ( once in dine- in and lastly with takeout). 2. Charged an up charge for city grits- received regular grits (see pic) . 3. Food is subpar and tastes like it came out of a package- the only thing that tastes like it was made fresh were the eggs. This was my 3rd time at this restaurant and I wont go back. Our first time there he explained everything very well. And any other questions he answered them with detail. He would also come back and check on us several times. Every waiter should be as professional as Esteban. Well we ordered our food and my friend got an order of omelet and I got crab cake benedict with a side of potatoes. Yes! Best breakfast spot around. I went over the weekend to the location in winter park and it was amazing. Decided to go back but to the semeron location. Walked in computer in hand (I was working) the hostess offered me a seat neat an outlet. I thought that was super nice. Our waitress came right away and was super friendly. I ordered the hash brown egg Benedict with city grits. Now I am not a grits girl, but boy these city grits are everything. Our first time trying this breakfast spot. We were not disappointed. Everything on the menu looked fantastic. I had the blueberry/lemon pancakes with goat cheese, this item came with eggs and a choice of meat, which I switched for potatoes. Very flavorful and delicious. Others at our table had the lobster and brie omlette, bananas foster pancakes and Piccata Benedict. The piccatta and omlette were served with either grits or potatoes and eggs. From Burbank to Orlando, we love this restaurant! Casual, country chic decor and a huge menu of southern favorites with a twist and healthy selections. Portion sizes are big and get you bang for your buck. My go to menu items are the Floridian omelette with cream cheese and crab, and the Skinny omelette with goat cheese and garlic cloves. Biscuits and beignets make an incredible side. Their seasonal menu is amazing - in fact this season they have Godiva Chocolate Pancakes. Their blueberry and lemon zest pancakes are light and fluffy and you can justify a little healthy with antioxidant-packed blueberries. At least that's the story I'm telling myself. read more

Being a sucker for new breakfast/brunch spots, I was excited to try Another Broken Egg Cafe. Having tried this place out on three different occasions, however, I can say that it really doesn't live up to the hype. My husband and I tried a couple of items via DoorDash (pancakes and a benedict) both were simply not good and resembled "elevated" Denny's breakfast. They also completely missed all the order notes we put in, which I know happens but it was slightly annoying. We tried the delivery route one more time and had a similar experience. I could barely eat the eggs Benedict as the hollandaise tasted just like pure butter and the English muffin was indistinguishable from something you could buy from Publix. We thought, hey maybe it's just that this place doesn't translate well to delivery and decided to dine inside the restaurant. While the food was marginally better, it still wasn't great and is definitely way overpriced for what you get. I ordered two eggs, bacon, and an English muffin, It was $14! We also ordered plain black cold brew that was incredibly watered down and cost over $4. Needless to say, we were really disappointed and will not be back. read more

Visited this place today Sunday 01/31/2021 for a family breakfast. There were 12 of us and we were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was super nice and managed to get all 12 orders together without any mistakes. She was super professional. The place opened a few weeks back; there is plenty of space and The food was delicious!!! Unfortunately, they don't take reservations but they managed to get all of us seated at once. We stopped in for their Friends & Family event and the service was incredible! We were warmly welcomed by two lovely people and were seated immediately. The staff truly worked as a team to make sure all the guests were taken care of. Our server Abigail helped me decide on a blueberry lemon mimosa, it was so good! We ordered the Mardi Gras Omelette and Shrimp & Grits. There's a generous portion of shrimp and sausage in this dish. Sadly, I didn't get a picture before we dug in. Next time for sure! This first visit might have been victim of the hype around this place. But nothing I had was really all that great. The BACQUEZO® omelet should be called the Chorquezo omelet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if the name bacon is the name of the food it should kinda taste like bacon?! Well it doesn't, it just tasted like creamy chorizo which is disappointing when you really want bacon. There are several other options with chorizo, so if I wanted that I would have got one of those selections. The potatoes tasted old and the muffin was kind of bland. The best part of the meal for me was the Beignet biscuits, which were crunch and light. They were served with a really tasty orange marmalade kinda dip. Which I enjoyed thoroughly This place reminds me of a better version of IHOP food, more fresh tasting and creative. But not as good as first watch or Peach Valley. read more

Wanting to get away from the touristy area we live at, we decided on trying a new place for breakfast. I know it is near the airport area but at least the restaurant isn't located in a congested part of Orlando. We used the Yelp waitlist to get in line. By the time we arrived and checked in with the host we only had a 5 minute wait. The place is very loud, so quiet conversations are not an option. The food and the service was good. Definitely recommend dining here. I think they have other locations so there might be one near you. read more

Food was meh. Seems like they're trying to imitate a First Watch atmosphere except they are too understaffed. We've been to what I always thought was the original location in Destin decades ago and this was nothing like that one. English muffin was cold and we had to ask for butter. People around us had to keep asking different servers for check. Servers are working hard so it's not their fault they aren't staffed well. I don't recommend this location at all. I have heard so many great things about this restaurant but never had the opportunity to stop by. They finally opened one relatively near my area so I came here with my best friend to celebrate and enjoy brunch. Everything was delicious, and our waitress Sydney was so sweet and accommodating. I ordered the shrimp and grits along with a side of the blueberry lemon goat cheese pancakes. I was really surprised that I enjoyed the pancakes as much as I did, all those flavors did not sound like they would go together but somehow they certainly worked! Both pancakes came with a homemade whipped cream that was flavored to match your dish. I probably could have eaten a gallon of that whipped cream because it was amazzzzing. The shrimp and grits were flavorful and the portion was enormous, I definitely could have shared that with another person. We ordered a drink each (Abe Cyclone) along with a pitcher of the Strawberry St. Germain Mimosa, all of our drinks were so good!
