Had breakfast and the food was great and even better service (thanks Cody and team!). Would definately go back.

I've been here twice in the past 3 months. The food was superb along with our server who was running around like a crazy lady since it was Mother's Day. I love that we can go to yelp to make reservations! Thanks again, Another Broken Egg Cafe. read more

Super delicious food! We were able to use yelp to put us on the waitlist so we didnt have to wait long and our food came out very fast even with it being busy! I had the cinnamon roll french toast (sooo good) and my boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy with grits and he was basically licking his plate clean! read more

Sunday brunch was awesome! Huge selection of omelettes and sweet stuff. When we were there, they only accepted cash but I think credit card machine was down. read more

The ability to get in line ahead of time is extremely helpful to cut down on the time you wait while at the restaurant.. It's certainly a busy place, and for good reason. They have really good coffee. My husband got chicken and waffles and approved... I got the skinny omelet which came with English muffins and fresh fruit - I highly recommend! We will be back. read more

I had the Crab Cake Cavallo, it was amazing.. nice and quiet atmosphere, we went around 11am-12pm. For starters we had the beignets - it came with a yummy honey orange sauce, it was good, personally I don't like the orange peels in the sauce, but it was a delightful sauce. You can purchase shirts, coffee mugs and some other decor with their business name on it. I got a mug, design was cute and different. I would recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Our waiter was Derrick he was friendly with everyone in our party especially our children. read more

Ordered a Belgium waffle, awesome!!! Beignets for apps, I suggest as well. Place was clean. Food was good everything was well. I will defentilly come back here next time I come back to orange beach. read more

I've been to other locations of this chain but this one is really, really bad. Our food did not taste like it was cooked fresh - perhaps all from a mix or package? The pancakes were like bricks. The shrimp in the shrimp and grits were about the size of a quarter of I'm being generous. Grits were solid like instant grits. Drip coffee was almost $4 and we were never offered refills for coffee or cokes. Because of the location and lack of other breakfast options in oba, this restaurant is always busy - but we will never be back. We are frequently in oba to visit family and this spot is on my "never again" list. read more

Great food and service. Make this a breakfast stop when you in Orange Beach area. Eggs Benedict were cooked just right. Other members of the party had pancakes and Belgian waffles which were excellent. A must try is the oven baked bacon! read more

What an amazing breakfast!!! My daughters, girlfriend and I were at Orange Beach last week. During the week my girls were doing their remote learning for school so my girlfriend and I had each day thru lunchtime together. We explored different places each day and all will probably receive remarkable reviews from me but Another Broke Egg Cafe was off the hook!!!! The service was very good. We were greeted and seated very promptly upon entering and our host and server were professionally personal. All was going great until we received our blackberry French toast. Wow!!!!! It was incredible!!!! Perfectly prepared, absolutely delicious and served hot. It also comes with a breakfast meat and a couple eggs. I ordered my eggs over easy and honestly am a strict critic of perfect eggs, whites cooked thoroughly and a runny yolk. Masterpiece. My girlfriend is very picky about her bacon. Off the charts. Outside of the food the next biggest memory is the silence while each of us deeply enjoyed our food. Well done staff. Very well done. read more

We got on the yelp waitlist, which is a must! Only waited an additional 15 minutes. The longest wait was for the food. Heard from the reviews it's always like this, but it's like 20 minute and my 2 year old fell asleep waiting so she ended up not eatting. I had the Floridian inlet which was tasty but the fish was way too salty. My husband devoured the biscuits and gravy and our oldest daughter preferred my home made tots over her chocolate chip pancakes. read more

This has become our favorite breakfast place, when we'rein town! Great food. Great service!

If you enjoy a good cup of coffee, delicious breakfast/brunch items and great service, this is your spot in OBA. The biscuit beignets, eggs black stone & chocolate waffle were big hits with our family. Most importantly, our server Cody was fantastic. We will definitely be back next summer! read more

Food was awesome. The wait time was incorrect on yelp but the ads to waitlist feature worked perfectly and we walked right in and got a table while others waited 45 min. Highly suggest!! read more

This is probably the worst wait time to get in and took an hour to get our food and I have no idea why the shrimp and grits were not good they have white gravy over it and it wasn't good the sauce was bland, I'm use to a red sauce on shrimp and grits, or a sauce with some flavor. Shrimp and grits were two of the meals we ordered. We also ordered one other meal with crawfish in it and if the sauce had been on the shrimp and grits it would had been good. I asked for some sauce from that meal and the waitress said for $6 extra for sauce! Wow! The wild berry mimosa was good but they brought it an hour before the meal and it was too strong to drink on an empty stomach.. I wouldn't waste my time going back unless you like to waste your time and money. $80 for 3 people to eat.... I'm sure there are other places that would have been better, we will keep looking. read more

EXCELLENT!! The food was very tasty and you can tell that the cooks know what their doing. Anyone can do breakfast, but you need flavor and outstanding ingredients to make an above average breakfast. Their coffee, mimosas and bloody mary's are way above average. Good job!!! read more

Really good food with a nice variety of quality ingredients. It's not cheap but it's good and you won't leave hungry. I'll definitely go back there several other things I want to try. read more

Been to several of these cafes in multiple cities and never have been let down. Excellent food and service every time. Crab cake Benedict is recommended- never disappoints. read more

We are locals and after a very disappointing visit it is clear the tourists keep the doors open to this restaurant. The sausage tasted like ground beef seasoned as sausage, I managed to get one bite down and that was more than enough. Neither of our eggs were properly cooked, for a breakfast restaurant, that's pretty much unacceptable. The whites of my over medium eggs were still runny but at least weren't clear and congealed like my husband's over easy ones were. The potatoes were fine and the biscuit was really good, nice and fluffy, just like I like them. The server was okay, not overly friendly and looked like he rolled out of bed 10 minutes before we got there. He did his job and I think once he was fully awake he would probably be a genuinely nice guy and more talkative. Sadly, it was $40.00 for breakfast with the drinks being 4.29 for a coffee and same for an orange juice, we left feeling like we would have been happier to have just rolled through McDonald's and called it good. So much for a Sunday morning treat. read more

Loved this spot for breakfast. They gave us free beignets since it was our first time and brought our kids yogurt cups as well. The biscuits and gravy was delicious and my wife loved the loaded city grits. read more

Service was very friendly and good. Relaxed but clean atmosphere. City grits and shrimp and grits were great, (no fake cheese in these grits) as was the chicken and waffles, bacon and pancakes. Only sorry we found this place on the way out of town! read more

SO GOOD!! everything I have had from here has been incredible! Whether it's the omelettes or the pancakes or the eggs and bacon or even the coffee! Great service too read more

I am on the fence about this place. I will start with the awesome. The beignets with marmalade were delicious. The City Grits were absolutely perfect. I could go and just order the City Grits and be happy. Service was mostly good. I was disappointed with my main entree. I ordered crab cake benedict and had to send it back. The crab was so strong that it could be smelled across the table. My friend across the table asked if it was supposed to smell like that before I even mentioned it. I nervously took a first bite and couldn't eat it. I will mention that I have ordered a lot of crab cakes over the years and never had one smell like this. I sent it back for the lox style benedict. It was made quickly and was good. I got the bill and was a little surprised to see a full charge price after the inconvenience of the crab issue. I will probably try some other place in the future. read more

This was a great breakfast surprise. Food was delicious and the menu offers traditional and southern breakfast favorites. They even offer mimosas with your breakfast! Wasn't sure if location because in a strip mall but the interior is really really cute and I applaud their cleanliness. Service was great as well our waitress checked on us several times. This place is a MUST to try. read more

Let me first say this was our first trip to this restaurant and it was a complete awesome dining experience. Our server was Gia and she was very attentive and offered us Mimosas which my wife had. The city Grits are simply amazing! Don't even think twice about then just order it! I had a Cajun omelet which I can't remember the name of but it had shrimp and crab meat and was very great with an awesome sauce with it. The potatoes are cooked to perfection. Greatest breakfast that we had in Orange Beach and we will return read more

Came in with a group of guys for breakfast on a Friday morning. We were greeted by a very nice young lady as we walked in. We were seated and immediately greeted by our waiter. He was very upbeat and helpful. I think he said he went by the name Moose? Maybe it was Goose? We ordered the grits and beignets to start. They were both outstanding. I could have settled for that for breakfast. I ordered the bacquezo omelette. We all got our food in a timely manner considering how busy they were and that is was a table of ten. My food was excellent and everyone's order came out right. We all left with no complaints. It's good to see a franchise that does breakfast have proper hospitality and good food. I will definitely be back. read more

We were in Orange Beach for a month, this was our best breakfast. Food awesome, staff great.

Our favorite breakfast spot when we are down south! Mostly I insist on going to grab another coffee cup to add to my collection but the food is always so good. I ordered the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes this time and they were a hit with me and my toddler! read more

Usually have good food & service here. Called for 30 mins today to place a to go order, but the phone kept ringing and then hanging up. Tried to place a to go order online but my only option was for delivery, not pick up. drove to the store & walked in to order food to go. The first girl told me that she didn't answer the phone because she couldn't find it and that she would have to check with the kitchen if they would do to go orders. A second girl showed up and told me that to go orders ended at noon, this was at 12:05 and I had been attempting to order for at least 45 minutes at this point. The second girl then informed me that their kitchen had been struggling all morning and it would take over an hour to get a to go order ready. She never even asked me what I was trying to order to begin with. If I didn't have a food allergy that limits me to eat at certain restaurants, I wouldn't have even tried this hard. Told the girls as I walked out that maybe they should look for the phone since they can't find it. Do better. read more

This was our second visit and the first was outstanding, unfortunately this visit....not so much. The service and ambiance were fine but my breakfast - biscuits and gravy with sausage - was so salty I couldn't finish it. My husband had a scrambler that he said was quite good but similarly, he said his potatoes tasted like the lid came off the salt shaker. I has a wonderful strawberry st. Germain mimosa. If we come back i think I will try the pancakes or French toast to avoid the salt. Overall...3 stars ****UPDATE WOW!!! Management really pays attention to the reviews. I was personally contacted after my earlier review and as a result of the genuine concern expressed by management to deliver top notch food and service, we gave Another Broken Egg another try today and I was extremely impressed. The menu has been updated to offer healthier dishes. I love that the nutritional information is now listed. I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and it was phenomenal. Best I have had in years! The fresh fruit side was fantastic as well. My husband had the supreme omelet and he loved it. I "tested" his potatoes and they were perfect! Crispy outside but not dried out like can happen when too many are prepared in advance. The drink menu looked interesting although on this visit we stuck with coffee. Server was friendly and attentive too. Definitely a 5 star experience and we will be back soon and often. read more

I enjoy the broken egg. The only thing this time is my food was cold but still delicious.

Hair in omlet. Beignets burnt. Crab meat tasted like fish. Not good. Showed waitress hair. Nothing was done, not even an apology. Super gross. Won't be back. Used to be good food, really gone downhill. Ruby Slipper is our new spot. read more

After convincing my crew to not wait for the Brick and Spoon, I advised them to try this restaurant. The wait was pretty bad, but I can honestly say it was worth it. The service was good(really busy) but the food was great! I'm from Southeast Louisiana, and it was probably the 2nd best breakfast I've ever had. Given the type of food in my region, that really speaks in volumes! I suggest trying this place out. Try to avoid Sunday mornings in the Summer (June-July) due to extremely heavy tourist departures. read more
