I ate here for brunch on January 19th 2022 First off it seams like a normal broken egg cafe restaurant. Like most places are now days a little short handed . I ordered the benidect burger Wife ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich entree First off my burger was as big as a sausage patty I think McDonald's burgers are bigger And no egg was on burger ,didn't notice until a few bites into it , told waitress and she told kitchen to get me a eggs for it So I'm waiting for my egg for this little burger And it get cold , they should have made me another burger but whatever and the taters was just bland On to my wife's entree Her chicken tasted like it was cooked three hours ahead and stuck under a warmer Worst chicken strips I've ever tasted Way to dry like jerky dry The gravy tasted weird also Pancakes was ok Very disappointed in this restaurant This is by far the worst broken egg I've ate at Just very low quality food prob never go back to this one ever again Just a shame cause I like another broken egg cafe Save your self money and time Find somewhere else to eat or stay home and cook Unless you want worse food than you can cook yourself at home Just a very honest review But I waitress was nice and manager was nice But Gezz the food quality sucked read more

Terrible service don't bother even making a reservation. We called ahead and reserved a 12:05 table for brunch. Our party of 5 arrived a few minutes early. We were forced to wait out in the hot sun for 20 minutes while staring at an open table "in the process of being filled"... the place wasn't even that crowded. Not exactly our idea of southern hospitality. I don't know if a cultural thing down in Nashville to take an incredibly slow time to sit down for breakfast, but the service was slower than molasses. Waiting for a server took up half of our afternoon. I will say the food was worth the wait. I had the broken egg chicken biscuit and it was delectable. A perfect blend of over easy egg yoke mixed with sausage gravy complimented the biscuit and crispy fried chicken nicely. The cold brew coffee was pretty good too. read more

The staff made up for the wait and mixup for our food!! Courtney tried to make it right that the computer system had a glitch when she placed the order. But brought out some yogurts for the kids. Raleigh is a very friendly and hardworking employee who has a lot of loyal regulars. The food is good and the service is good too. Food was good, waiter was okay. Nothing was great. Don't go if you're in a group, they wouldn't let us pull one extra chair up to a table to add a seventh. Hosts are not helpful. Called a first time to be on the waitlist they said to call back later because it wouldn't be a long wait .. we call back later and they say an hour and a half wait and can't guarantee that our group will be sat together. When we entered no one was there to greet us, but we didn't have to wait long. The ambiance was nice. Now the food.....Delicious!! I had the Lemon Pound Cake lFrench Toast with fresh berries, scrambled eggs, baked bacon, and coffee. My sister had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties. We had lobster and brie omlette, Mardi grass omelette, bloody Mary and a watermelon cucumber cooler. The food was fantastic! The reason for the low rating is because I wasnt done with my food or my drink and both times a server came by and took my plate and my unfinished cooler from me. I told them no i wasnt finished, but they took it anyways. Also the wait to get our food was really long. I have been to ABE's in Atlanta and Destin and the food and service has ALWAYS been 5 star. So I took my nieces to this Nashville location because they had never been. We got on the online waitlist and headed over. We checked in at the hostess station when we got there. There were THREE male staff hanging/leaning around the station. They checked us in and we were seated outside shortly afterwards. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. And watched two different guys half clean some dirty tables. I went into the restaurant and yep, the three guys were still literally lounging on the hostess station. They sent our waiter Jagger, shortly afterwards. THEN I got a text saying "We're holding your table for the next 3 minutes. Change of plans? Text SKIP to remove your name from the waitlist." WHaaaat??? I guess it takes more than three guys to complete an online waitlist request. Jagger took our drink order and we ordered the carrot cake pancakes as an appetizer to share. We got our waters and coffees, and Jagger took our food order. New guy brought our "appetizer" a little while later. I asked him for two more plates, he said "sure!" Nope. Didn't happen. (Hey, where's Jagger btw?) yet another guy brought our food. (Jagger are you okay???) I asked for butter and honey. Meanwhile no one is taking our empty plate, refilling waters (outside, Nashville, noon - you do the math. It's HOT people) long after we finished our food but it was not a pleasant experience. No one checked on us, asked how our food was, refilled our coffee and waters, bussed the dirties. And when each of us went to the rest room most of the male waitstaff was clustered around the hostess station. Good food, but not worth the long pauses and lack of service and attention. (This was NOT an understaffing issue, they had PLENTY of staff) read more

My party of 3 and I came here for Sunday brunch, and were pretty disappointed. I've been to another broken egg location in Burbank, CA where I used to live and always had wonderful experiences there but this location was awful. The issue wasn't that we had to wait over an hour and a half of for a table (for a party of 3!) it was that there was NO sense of urgency. Tables would go 5-10 minutes before being cleared and when they finally were, the staff would take another 5-10 minutes to actually clear a table... then another 5-10 to seat someone at that table. It was so inefficient. I literally witnessed an employee sit down while clearing a table. She was picking up each cup two at a time and then walking away. I was naturally frustrated. Not only that but the food was subpar. Our food took a longggg time, and when it finally came out it was cold. My friends peach cobbler pancakes had the whipped cream melted and oozing off the edge. I generally love this place, they have a great menu and selection of brunch items and yummy brunch drinks, but I was very disappointed with our experience. We spent 4 hours and over $70 in this restaurant, and it was most certainly not worth it. If you're going to charge $15 for pancakes and $8 for a mimosa, the service needs to match. read more

Surrounded by empty tables, it took about half an hour for our food to come and another 10 minutes for the eggs to come back after we sent them back for being the wrong order. The flies got all over our French toast and fruit while waiting, and the waiter barely came by our table. The silverware also had lipstick on it, and I had to ask twice before I got new silverware. All of this was hard to manage on an empty stomach for the first meal of the day. One and done. read more

I hate to say it, but I would never, ever recommend anyone else eat breakfast here. We joined the wait list in Yelp. Arrived and there were tons of open tables. Waited. Tables still dirty and open. Waited longer. Eventually observed a waitress ask the host why they weren't seating. It was unreal to me that so many people were waiting so long, hire some busers for God's sake! Finally sat. The iced coffee was dreadful, simply dreadful. Didn't even taste like coffee, kind of a watered down tea. Finally got our food and it was all luke warm at best. I had ordered mine with no cheese... came out with tons of cheese. Sent it back. The manager came by and we complained; he didn't take it well. Kind of took offense and said "guess we failed all around" like it was a joke. Dude we were just trying to let you know what we experienced as paying local customers with lots of breakfast options around town. Sorry, best of luck but we will never be back. read more

To say I had the worst dining experience in my life today would be an understatement. In the general manager's words, "there's no good excuse" for what happened today. Here's the quick and dirty version: 1. The host told us the wait for a table was 40-45 minutes. In reality it was 2 hours. There weren't a lot of patrons, but rather they were "understaffed". On a Sunday? In Nashville? At brunch time? Yikes. 2. When we finally got a table, it was because we asked to sit outside, and they acted like we could've sat outside all along and waited 2 hours for nothing. 3. We never got our food. We were there for 3 full hours before we decided to bail. The host who lied about the wait time also lied about our food being ready. 35 minutes after he told us that, we left because we'd had enough of the dishonesty. 4. The only reason we got any answers (albeit lies) is because we had to hunt down employees and ask. Not once did our waitress come out and say "sorry for the wait". I understand being understaffed, but communicate with your customers, and certainly don't lie to them. The word incompetence doesn't begin to describe the waitress, host, and general manager at Another Broken Egg on Charlotte. If you want to ruin your day by wasting 3 hours just to leave hungry and frustrated, by all means visit this establishment. read more

I was anxious to try this place as I often see a line out the door when I go to my yoga class next door. We were greeted by an awkward hostess. We ordered a cold brew coffee which tasted like soapy water. I wanted to order hot coffee, but the waitress was no where to be found for 20 minutes. We finally flagged her down ordered a hot coffee it also tasted like dirty soapy water. This also made me realize that their cold brew was DEFINITELY not cold brew, and just gross coffee poured over ice. We waited a solid hour for a our food on a Tuesday morning at 9am when they were far from busy and many open tables. The food came out cold, and was definitely not worth an hour wait. No one checked in with us to see how everything tasted or we would have definitely shared our thoughts. We will not be going back. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The menu is great, food was pretty good, but the experience was pretty terrible. When we arrived, there was a wait. Totally acceptable given its Sunday at 10am. We're t I left it's a 45 min wait. We decide to stick it out. 50 minutes go by and a spot opens up at the bar. We decide to grab it. We were told a waitress would be with us and the bartender took our drink order. One drink came within a few minutes, the other didn't come for another 10-15 minutes. It was at least 20 minutes after we sat down to get our order taken. Overall, the biggest issue seemed to be with staff. Tables sat empty for upwards of 10 minutes as they cycled. Having someone bus tables would have helped. They also would have been able to turn tables around faster if they didn't have to chase down a server because we just sat... The food was pretty good. But by the time we got it, I was over the whole experience. My advice if you want brunch here, order thru Uber eats. read more

The restaurant itself is fantastic. Attentive waitstaff, A M A Z I N G food, good coffee and great environment! I've been there twice now, and tried the mixed berry waffle and the cinnamon roll French toast. Both were very sweet, but absolutely delicious and the addition of eggs and bacon/sausage definitely help with the sweetness. My hubby got the bacon chorizo omelet this time and let me try a bite. It was excellent and my dad got the creole omelet today and had nothing but good things to say. The manager, Todd, was also around to make sure our food and overall experience was good! read more

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast. Love the lobster and brie omelet and the shrimp and grits. Love the pumpkin waffle wasn't a huge fan of the lemon pancakes but the banana foster ones are delish. There can be a bit of a line on the weekends so try to go early if possible. read more
