    pumpkin pie latte
    Melanie M.

My friend and I came here for the first time the other day. I got a pumpkin pie latte and it was good. I got the crab cake benedict which was delicious but the potatoes weren't good. They seemed like they were frozen and just reheated. My friend got the traditional eggs benedict. Ended up paying around $30 with tax & tip. Service was good.

I had breakfast with a group of 8. The service was fast and friendly. The menu has a few unique items, so I decided to try something I have never had. I ordered the Mardi Gras Omelette with an English Muffin and grits. The Mardi Gras omelette had shrimp, crawfish, sausage and vegetables. There was a sauce on top that was good but slightly salty. Overall, I thought it was good. My friend had the traditional eggs Benedict, and she enjoyed it. She also opted for fruit instead of potatoes or grits.

Wasn't busy on a Tuesday morning and we were able to be seated no problem. Coffee was very tasty and chicken and waffles were on point. I really liked the tenders and the sauce that came with them. Biscuit was good but the gravy was a little disappointing. Overall it is a good place for breakfast with a variety of options.

We came by here the day before, the service was just ok. The food was great. Which is why we came back the next day. I had the country power bowl. The combination of cheesy grits, eggs & sausage gravy was deliciously perfect. The bacon was crisp & the biscuit was big & fluffy. The coffee was good too. We had the best service from Braden S. He greeted us with a big cheerful smile. Our order came out timely. Braden was very polite & attentive. The music was upbeat & just the right volume.

Vanilla Cold Brew with chunky milk?

Oof. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but my experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe this morning was not great. We arrived around 9:45 and had joined the virtual waitlist about 12 minutes prior. Once we arrived, we found out that we had been taken off of the waitlist for some reason. It ended up being fine and we were able to be seated immediately. Upon seating, our server came to the table to get our drink orders. Off the bat, we picked up a rude vibe from her. My partner ordered the Vanilla Cold Brew and I got a regular black coffee. The cold brew took about 15 minutes to be made and was pretty much undrinkable. See pic for reference. My coffee was fine. I asked for a water as well and did not receive it but felt weird asking our waitress as she was so inattentive and annoyed. I ordered a Benedict and my partner got the chicken and waffles. We also got a few pancakes. The food took about 45 minutes. The food was edible, but not good. My Benedict was warm but not hot. The poached egg was not actually poached - more bordering hard boiled. The hollandaise sauce was very lemony. Overall bland especially for the price. The chicken and waffles were barely seasoned and again, boring. The highlight was the pancakes, thankfully. They were very good and we did bring the leftovers home. Our refills of hot coffee were unfortunately both cold but at that point we were just ready to leave. We could've moved past the really subpar food and gone home, but the service really was what made this a lacking experience. Our server was clearly not having it as we could see her rolling her eyes from across the restaurant. It's just an off putting experience. So yeah, needless to say, we won't be back.

Very filling breakfast. We got the breakfast sandwiches and the biscuits and gravy. The bloody Mary's were good. Just know you can't order alcohol before 10 am. It was busy on Sunday morning but hop on the wait list ahead of time and it helps speed up the wait time.

This is a wonderful place for a family breakfast and for celebrations. My family enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here for the Eid holiday. Julie, our server, was so hospitable and attentive to our needs, 10/10 service!!!! Highly recommend in the Nashville area.

Half 1/2 Order of Biscuit Beignets - kind of claggy, not my fave

Pretty underwhelmed by this place. I've been to Another Broken Egg in other cities, so felt like I went in knowing the menu was going to be a bit below average but execution here just really misses the mark and it's the kind of experience where you just kind of regret having come out to eat in the first place. Easy parking dedicated to Another Broken Egg and a super clean, not crowded restaurant, which were maybe the few redeemable qualities of this place. My waitress felt overly aggressive at getting my order as soon as I sat down, and I had to ask her SEVERAL times to give me a few minutes to peruse the menu. This was particularly a bummer because I was looking to have a chill, leisurely breakfast (when the restaurant wasn't even particularly busy) and it made me feel rushed. The biscuit beignets were overly claggy and dry. I ate them, but didn't particularly enjoy the experience. I couldn't finish the side of bacon as 90% of it was burnt and just gross. The coffee was fine. But no real specialty coffee drinks unless you want to add booze to your coffee, so I feel like this place caters to the bachelorette scene just looking to entertain a group for boozy brunch rather than any foodie wanting an actual tasty breakfast. What a bummer.

Definitely a cool little brunch spot with a great list of brunch libations. From the times I've visited other locations my experience wasn't the best, but I highly recommend this location. Service was great and food was amazing. The cinnamon roll French toast is merely just a cinnamon roll. I definitely didn't get "French toast" from it and I'm a French toast connoisseur.

I came in and sat at the bar. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. My server didn't mention his name but he's going to get me a complimentary order of beignets which are tasty. My server's name is Rawly? I think I got it right?? Anyway I ordered my food to go Biscuits and gravy and 2 eggs over medium with grits!! I've genuinely never had anything like them before. My husband called them "cinnabon on steroids" The pastry was light, warm, airy, and perfectly soft. I tried to swing by around ten minutes to noon, but it was a disaster. There were heaps of people waiting outside, and it didn't look promising. I went to the hostess stand and asked the guy if I could get a table for one, and he said, "Oh, you can sit at the bar; it's open seating. There's one open seat right there!" So, I walked through and was approached by another worker who asked me what I was doing. I told her the guy said I could sit at the bar, and there was an open seat, even though I never saw one. I did see open seats outside at the bar, though. The bar has two sides, one outside and one inside. It seemed alright; it wasn't too hot or humid, so I went. There were dirty dishes all over the place, and I sat down. Another worker asked me, "Are these dishes yours?" Which seemed a bit strange because the guy works the bar and wouldn't he have known the person sitting there before me left them? Anyway, I said no, and he cleared them. I then waited about 5 minutes before another worker skillfully wiped the bar of debris and then got three menus and three sets of silverware (two more guys sat down next to me) and asked me if I wanted water. I said, "Yes, please." She went off, and then shortly after, I saw the same guy come with a menu and a set of silverware and a water. Thumbs up for the water but thumb down for the slowness. I saw the menu and was torn between pancakes and biscuits. I didn't really want anything heavy, so I got the biscuits and gravy but added an egg. I also got a coffee. The wait time for the food was super quick, and the food was really good. The biscuits are small, and they're okay. The egg was good, but it's kinda hard to mess up an egg. I saw the food the people sitting next to me got, and it looked amazing! Pancakes, etc. Overall, the service was pretty bad, but the food was good. I saw no sense of urgency in the workers when they were obviously swamped. I might come when it's not so busy next time. Side note, maybe I'm showing my age, but the price of regular drip coffee was a bit steep. ($4).

We were seated in less than 10 minutes even though the place was packed. And this was around 11 AM on a Tuesday, so I can only imagine how busy weekends get. The service here was honestly the highlight of the whole experience. Our waitress was SO friendly, funny, and genuinely welcoming. One of those people who instantly makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. You can tell the staff here knows how to handle a busy restaurant while still making customers feel special. I ordered the veggie omelette with blueberry pancakes, and my boyfriend got the Three Little Pigs omelette with a banana pancake. We also ordered coffee to go with everything and wow... such a comforting, satisfying breakfast. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and filled with sweet blueberries in every bite, while the banana pancake had that perfect caramelized banana flavor that tasted homemade in the best way possible. And PLEASE do yourself a favor and try the cinnamon syrup with the pancakes. It was insanely good and honestly took the pancakes to another level. Sweet, warm, buttery, with the perfect cinnamon flavor... I could probably drink that syrup by itself. What impressed me most is that despite how full the restaurant was, our food came out in less than 20 minutes. Everything felt efficient without ever feeling rushed. This is one of those places where yes, the food is really good, but what truly makes you want to come back is the service and atmosphere.
