We sat down at 9:40 am..waiter already seemed frazzled..took about 20 min to order..but you had to make eye contact with the waiter to get any attention. Well..it's 10:30am and we didn't receive any food. Asked for the items to be rushed. The waiter just deflected the slowness of service and receiving food on the kitchen. My previous review was for the Shreveport location. I've visited Bossier we were seated a few minutes after we arrived after signing up on the waitlist from yelp. Service was prompt and our food came right out. The parking was a little tight but everything else was good. The restaurant is open so it can be a little noisy.Besides that everything else was good. read more

Never been so disappointed in Another Broken Egg. We placed our order online and email confirmation told us what time to pick it up. We arrived on time and ended up waiting over 30 minutes extra. The staff kept telling us they were bagging our order and bringing it out - the only communication from them. I finally called and that's when I learned that their internet had been down that morning. I completely understand that things happen, but even the tiniest bit of communication at ANY point would have been nice. They didn't even start making our order until we got there. To top it off they left out parts of the order, half the food was cold to the touch, all bread products were incredibly soggy, and my eggs were quite undercooked. The manager was nice when I asked for a refund on the left out items at least. All in all, not happy with my experience. read more

Whoa!! I'd heard about this restaurant, and finally able to go with my 93 y/o mother and granddaughter- 3 generations having brunch. And I cannot give enough stars for the experience. The hostess was friendly and greeted us immediately, and placed us at a table just a short distance giving consideration to my mother. The waitress- what can I say. This young lady was a friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and made us very comfortable while there. The facility was clean, atmosphere was welcoming and a genuinely enjoyable experience. The food was more than adequate, and delicious. This is definitely a return to restaurant in my book. read more

Food was ok, came out pretty cold, nothing special in my opinion for the price. They are quite expensive for breakfast food. My problem was with the manager. As my CHILDREN, 5 year old and 1 year old, are eating, this older woman began to harass us. Keep in mind we are being quiet and keeping to ourselves, my kids have not once been loud or cried out or anything of the sort. She begins to yell that we need to leave and we don't belong here and actually tries to get up and hurt us but another table comes between her and us thankfully. When the manager is informed of what's happening, he immediately goes to her, asks her what the problem is and takes care of her check. NOT ONCE does he come over to me. Ok, fine, but then the servers tell me that lady comes in quite often and is crazy. They continue to let her come in and harass other guests and get away with it. NOT ONLY THAT, but they serve her alcohol! With an extra shot!! (This woman is clearly mentally ill with violent tendencies AND probably around 80 years old. COMPLETELY irresponsible of management and extremely rude to not even come over and speak to the family who was nearly physically assaulted by a crazy elderly woman downing a double shot Bloody Mary! Ridiculous. Food isn't good enough to put up with that. Manager needs to take a class on managing... won't be back. read more

I had a really hard time deciding on a star rating here. The service has always been great, and the cocktails are fantastic. (Try the Strawberry St Germain Mimosas - just get a pitcher.) However over time the food has become really inconsistent. I order some version of eggs Benedict without fail. Yesterday one of my eggs was nearly hard boiled, and the other egg was perfectly poached. I also had an order of city grits, and the bacon on top was burnt. My husbands omelette was more like overdone scrambled eggs. I think it takes some level of skill to cook eggs to order and they are struggling to find someone who can do that consistently. That or expo in the kitchen is struggling with their timings and throwing off the egg person. The point though is, if you are gonna be a brunch place, the eggs need to be on point. And I also think consistency is super important. The eggs Benedict I order today should be the same one I order two weeks from now. At least, that's my preference. read more

Ordered online and picked up food with the bag sealed. I got home only to find my order was incomplete. I contacted the restaurant and after being placed on hold multiple times, was advised to return to get what was left off . Unacceptable. Next, the person on the phone stated a manager said I could get a refund for what was left off. Having prepaid for the food and driving home, I requested to get a full refund or the entire order remade so ALL of the food would be hot. Then a person got on the phone and agreed to replace the entire order. I returned to the restaurant (brought back to original order) to pick up my order and was met with an attitude and excuses form the waitress who pack my original order. So I want to like this place. I want to. But....I ordered the Mardi Gras omelette with grits. It's supposed to come with crawfish in the omelette. A waitress came out later and apologized to another table for forgetting them more than once...I knew we were in trouble when she bypassed us twice after saying nothing but we were in her area. Bartender comes out with our coffees. I said don't go...we want to order. Has your waitress stopped by? Nope....she took our order and that's probably why the order wasn't perfect. The waitress walks by us 3 times during the meal...no refills or even a check up...I have to go to the bartender for more coffee. Three more times space cadet walks by and no service with me trying to stop her to get the check. Finally I grab a different waitress as our ticket suddenly arrives...She tried to run but I was able to throw cash at her so we could leave. So I want to like this place, but expect the service to suck and get a mystery meal delivered to your table. read more

My last visit was not so great but I decided to try again, it was very busy, 30-45 min wait. It was worth it, I was seated and the waitress was quick to take my drink order, and the silverware was CLEAN! I say this because other eating establishments I visited, I have had to ask for clean eating utensils! The restaurant is clean, the restrooms were clean, (ok I'm not a germaphobic), but it's expected, it's just a good sign when the restaurant is full, even overflowing to outside and they manage to keep it so clean!
