I have a very curly hair, I showed Laura a picture of my desired haircut, she decided to dry cut my hair then shampoo it. the haircut didn't look good. I asked if she can blow dry my hair so we can fix the cut, but she explained that she was busy and have other appointment. I was told to go home and call them back. I did the following day, I called to schedule a blow dry and fixing the cut, but they told me that they are booked for two weeks. terrible service. I would seriously given the service ( or more accurately, the lack there of) zero stars if that was an option. I called up in advance to let the salon know that I was running exactly 5 mins late for a wash and a Blo dry. They still call me 3 mins later to check. I arrive at 6:35 pm exact and let Sarah know that my hair is a week old dirty and that I would need 2 shampoos . She gives me a look and tells me that she has no time for a second shampoo and that she has a 7 pm. At this point- I let me hair out of the scrunchie and let her know that may not happen given my hair length and texture. She berates Morgan from the front desk in not letting her know about my hair and at this point she is rough and rude in her actions. Proceeds to shampoo my hair while berating me for being 5 mins late. I try to think of more pleasant things but then she proceeds to cursory shampoo without scrubbing. I tell her again that my hair is really dirty and she is rude in her response back. I get up with shampoo in my hair and ask to speak with the manager about the abysmal customer service. The manager is not there. Morgan at the front desk washes out my hair as a courtesy and I leave with the managers name and number. Sarah tries to engage with me once more "explaining" why I am wrong- I ask her to desist and walk on. Talk about customer service! You would have thought I was getting a wash and Blo dry for free or as charity the way I was treated. Not sure why they accept late appointments if the stylists are tired, bored or just not upto it. Wonder if the primary modus operandi is to collect money from hapless customers while being rude. Hmm... never known that to work anyplace before!!! Avoid this place even if it is your option if last resort especially Sarah. My first experience there about a week ago was also "borderline" rude with another stylist but I did not write about because it was borderline. But this second experience has compelled me to provide this review. People- be aware. Maybe there are others who are nicer at this salon- but this stylist was not! Oh and I tried calling the salon today to talk to the manager- but my calls went into oblivion. Maybe I will have better luck tomorrow.

Salon Pure was confident, excited about my vision, and I decided that was more important than finding the best deal. With regards to cost, my appointment actually ended up being CHEAPER than I was quoted... I don't know or understand the different hair dying techniques, but Susan, my stylist, advised me to go a different route than I originally planned because it would be easier on my hair, and CHEAPER for me! The whole appointment, Susan was super transparent about when she had to mix extra bowls of bleach and how much that would cost. There were ZERO surprises about the price at the end of the visit. On to Susan... the appointment was SIX HOURS long (I have a lot of hair), and Susan was SO incredibly patient, meticulous, and consistent the whole time. I am so grateful for her!
