It's getting 4 stars from me! Why? Well by Italian standards the coffee is nothing to write home about but by US standards it's pretty good. Also it's not a giant chain with a drive-thru. It's a little corner shop like you might find in Paris, but with better coffee and sandwiches than you'd get in the home of the Eiffel Tower! And awesome smoothies, which are the real reason to come here! The staff are friendly and by coincidence it's only 5 minutes walk from the place I'm staying for the week, which is another bonus. So four of us wanted smoothies and decided to go local. If you're not careful you might miss it. It's very small inside. There are a bunch of snacks, teas, and bottled beverages along the walls. Inside is a very pleasant Asian woman who was more than willing to assist us with our orders. We ordered the Anny's Favorite, #15 & #3. They Anny's favorite has to be one of the best peanut butter & banana protein smoothies ever. The 15 and the 3 were both good in their own regard but nothing like the sweet & creamy goodness of Anny's Favorite. The best part of it all is the price. A large smoothie is only $4.25! And nothing on the menu is over $8. We will definitely be coming back to try more of Anny's delicious treats! read more

Anny's is a very, I mean VERY, tiny coffee shop. I'd say there's enough room in there for 6 people to stand before it starts getting really uncomfortable. And that's part of the charm. Anny is always behind the counter (and sometimes her mom, too). She's adorable, so friendly, and remembers me every time. Once, when she already determined I'm a regular, she asked if she could take a polaroid of me for her wall/ceiling. Now if you go there, the wall/ceiling is covered with photos of regulars. It's sorta like being in Carnegie Deli with all the photos plastered everywhere. As for the treats, Anny will make you a great cup of coffee or other hot beverage, smoothie, boba, or sandwich, and it's all completely affordable. The little shop also has packaged snack foods like gum, chips, and candy. My favorite thing to get is a peanut butter cookie from the glass jar to the right of the pay counter. They're huge, they're chewy, and they're less than a buck. What!!?? There's a bar tabletop with a couple stools where you can eat, or you can sit outside at one of three little tables and read your manuscript. That's what I see happening every time I go. That, or some business deal was just struck on the noisy Robertson sidewalk outside of Anny's. It figures. There's an acting school across the street to the left of Blockbuster's, and Doris Roberts, among others, has been known to stop by Anny's. The place is only open on weekdays because, afterall, Anny deserves a weekend break, and she runs the place herself. But definitely go, and tell Anny that Marni says hi. She'll know who you mean, or you can point to the ceiling for memory recall. read more

Somehow, the two of these Koreans (yeah, I can say that because I'm Korean, too) have figured out how to make everything from smoothies, hot/cold coffees, and paninis to selling Kettle chips, Red Bull and other items they most likely bought from Costco and are reselling here (maybe). For real, though, don't come for a conversation, but do come for a smoothie, a quick coffee, or a short lunch break to pick up a nice sandwich made with Korean love. Note: There's no WiFi. It's a very tiny sandwich shop so it's better to get your food to go rather than sitting down (but there are still places to sit if you decide to do so). I've been here a good amount of times and I've only seen one woman taking the order and making the food so sometimes you have to wait a bit. If you're in a super hurry I wouldn't suggest coming here. Sometimes you could wait up to 15 minutes to get your food, which still isn't bad. I'm a big supporter of small mom and pop owned businesses so the wait isn't a deal breaker for me at all. read more

This spot is a hidden gem. I work within a 1 min walk from here and my coworker told me how good it is so I decided to check it out, I don't eat mayo or dairy so you can imagine how boring my sandwiches must taste or look, however everytime I've ate here the sandwiches taste so freaking good despite it lacking the cheese and mayo. It tastes very homemade and motherly :) It's also affordable too I got my hot sandwich with free chips and a drink all for only $11, my only complaint is it's not very filling but then again I was absolutely starving when I ate my sandwich but it was able to keep me satisfied for a few hours until I got home. All that being said I would gladly come back here whenever I need some lunch and I will most likely end up being a regular due to how close it is from my job as well as the quality of the food and how fast the food comes out. Very small shop with maybe 2 barstools to sit on. They do keep the interior very cool though so thumbs up for that. I got the Wild Berry Protein Smoothie (#5) as this was recommended by the employee as their most popular smoothie. Consistency was thick, tasty and sweet. The protein used is whey and ranges from 35-40g of protein. Not bad! The iced coffee is mediocre however so I'd skip on that. read more

Don't judge this place by its size. Anny's is the small cafe with delicious sandwiches and great smoothies. They are family run shop and that is why they can compete with many of the other places in Beverly Hills. I have been here couple of times but this is the first time I am writing the review. They truly do a good job in customer service department to make sure keep all customers happy with good service and tasty food. I am not really big fan of ham or croissants sandwiches but I saw the picture of it on yelp and willing to give it try. The egg was fresh and the beard wasn't saggy. The combination was very filling and made me change my mind about egg and ham sandwiches in overall. The only think I don't like for many of restaurants in Beverly Hills is the parking situation. They have street parking which you might have to go around the block couple of times to find spot to park. They also have outdoor sitting which is occupied most of the time. I have my sandwich to go and the do the best to prepare your meal as fast as possible. Anyway, compare to many other places, the prices were reasonable and service was great. The sandwich is huge I ordered mine with whole wheat toasted, they put tons of green leaf lettuce, tomato, alfalfa sprouts and slight mayo. Downside they don't add cheese, but you can add some for 50cents I think. You can also add avocado for extra. I also ordered the regular size 16oz Strawberry protein smoothie which has Soy Milk, Strawberries, Banana, Chia and Vanilla Protein powder, blended w/ ice of course! Just the perfect sweetness to it! All of that freshly blended and served for just $3.50! Trust me you will be full w/ just the regular smoothie and 1/2 sandwich! Oh and did I mention the sandwich is LOADED w/ Tuna not like sheisty Subway which only adds 2 semi filled mini scoops of tuna "spread" to your sub! Worth every single Dollah! read more
