I often get a gel manicure that involves two colors- with a half moon design from the cuticle up in one of the colors, and the rest of the nail in the second one, and always come out very pleased with the results. The design comes out very evenly on each nail, and the attention to detail and perfection is quite impressive. They looked a little meh but only something we would notice. Exactly TWO DAYS!!! later one nail popped off and 3 others were peeling up. We went back and she fixed 5 nails total for free, one nail looking wonky af but at this point, I just wanted to be done with it. Once we walked in the door of our house ANOTHER nail popped off. Went back and it was fixed. One week later ANOTHER nail popped off and another is peeling up. Clearly they did not clean off the oil or something. Claimed it was because she had thin nails... She's had acrylic before with no problem. I think it was because after we sat down they got really busy and blew through her nails. I am also a little angry I left a $15 tip. Honestly, when we went back to show her the damage the first time, I wanted a refund but she pulled my daughter to the chair and immediately began working. First of all, it is incredibly clean here and all the workers are not just respectable, but also very friendly. They have a large variety of regular and gel nail polishes available of both classic and trendy colors. I feel incredibly relaxed everytime I come here. If you have the time, I really recommend the "Spa Pedicures". They involve various steps that include deep cleaning, exfoliating, hydrating, and massaging of your feet and lower legs. I find that they're really worth the extra dollars and they add to the overall "spa" experience of coming to this salon. I also wonder if some of the workers here have taken massage classes. The foot massages I have had with the "Spa Pedicures" have really been excellent, incredibly rejuvinating and healing on the pressure points of my feet. Likewise, I've had some really great mini upper back massages here while waiting for my nails to dry! I think my experiences here are ultimately due to how "above and beyond" the owner and workers go in order to make this salon feel like a haven in which one can hide away and pamper during a stressful day.
