My order was a Baby Shower Cake using an Image Wrap (Sugar Sheet). The cake was Pound Cake with Buttercream Frosting. It was a round cake, serving 20 and cost $80.00. The cake was sooo moist and perfectly delicious! The icing had just the right amount of sweetness, complimenting the cake rather than overpowering it. I wholeheartedly recommend ordering your cake from Ann's Cake Pan. The only less than perfect comment I'll make is about the exterior of the home/bakery, but the products that emerge from this bakery still make it worth it! read more

I wanted to take a moment and say what a wonderful experience I had talking to John at Ann cake pan today. I have a daughter that has a birthday tomorrow in Pennsylvania when I am in California. On short notice less than 24 hours, John said no problem. We will take care of you. He was kind, courteous, professional, and took care of my needs with a great attitude! This is hard to find and today's business environment, so thank you John for taking such wonderful care of my family! Dean read more

We ordered a cake for our granddaughter who is leaving for college. It was perfect as all the other cakes that we have ordered over the years from Ann's Cake Pan are. The look on our granddaughter's face when she saw the cake with the school logo was priceless! Twenty-five years ago Ann's Cake Pan made her parent's wedding cake and now they are making a cake for her. That's the sweet circle of life. Their artistic creativity and delicious cake make Ann's Cake Pan No. 1 for all our family' celebrations. read more

AMAZING, TO FIND THIS BAKERY ONLINE TO BE THE MOST DELICIOUS, MOIST, FESTIVE GOLF CAKE EVER!!!! I spoke over the phone to them to order my husband's SURPRISE "Golf-themed" birthday party to finally stopping in to drop off the cake top. Again, it was the most splendid experience in all that I had to plan. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Kathleen Allegro, Fort Washington, PA P.S. Ann's Cake Pan - DELICIOUS, FESTIVE & EVERYTHING PERFECT! - Bakeries Near Me - Horsham, Pennsylvania

It's no surprise that this bakery got 4.5 stars, but why only 15 reviews? Truly a hidden gem. Nestled next to a house, Ann's Cake Pan is hard to find. I drove past it. It's not a brick and mortar bakery. From generations of recipes perfected and tastings in the owner's living room, Ann's Cake Pan has a nice warmth of a mom and pop feel (Ann made cake for her 7 kids). Although the cake tasting room is atypical at the owner's living room and not in a fantasy show room, the cakes are far from ordinary. Ann's royal icing flowers are so realistic that my fiancee actually thought they were real and couldn't tell the difference from the pictures. At $100 - $150, although the flowers are expensive, they will make your cake stand out. In addition to craftsmanship, the best part about the cakes is that they are so moist! After doing another cake tasting at a bakery in the area, I was relieved that Ann's cakes aren't dry. In the cake tasting, I tried 8 flavors and my favorite flavors were the chocolate, fudge swirl, and raspberry. The fudge swirl was my favorite. The vanilla buttercream was nice and smooth. At $4 - $4.50/slice, the cake prices are pretty affordable and comparable to the area. The service was just as good as the cake. I met with Bill, he was friendly, resourceful, and to the point. Although he was busy making cakes for the weekend, he spent over a half hour with my family explaining the different types of cakes and some tricks to add flair without breaking the bank. He even gave me ribbon to take home and a Philadelphia wedding magazine. I was impressed with this level of service with I didn't expect at first glance. It was great to see the bakery at work. They were busy making 6 or 7 cakes. They all looked great, just as good as the pictures. I had a wonderful and fun cake tasting experience. Can't wait to be WoWed by Ann's team at my wedding. read more

I ordered a cake for my daughter's 1st birthday party (with smash cake) and the experience was excellent from start to finish! I told them the theme I wanted (Mickey Mouse) and they sent me suggested designs, pictures of cakes they had made. Pick up was a breeze and the cake looked exactly as I expected. The chocolate cake was delicious!! I didn't try the smash cake (which was a pound cake) but my daughter seemed to love it! Great local business in the area for cakes. read more

I can't say enough good things about John and Bill from Ann's Cake Pan! From start to finish, they were so easy to work with. And the cake was amazing. We gave them our idea and they ran with it and it turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. And it was incredibly delicious too! read more

I ordered a cake for my daughter's baby shower and was completely overjoyed with the service I received from the first phone call to picking up up the most beautiful and delicious cake. I was asked to drop off "paint chip colors" to make sure the colors of the ombré icing were exact and when I arrived I was given a sample plate of the many flavors and fillings for my daughter to sample. When I picked up the cake it was delivered to my car. Here is a picture of the cake. The cake toppers were added at the venue ~ such a masterpiece & I will definitely order special cakes from this bakery again! read more

Ann's Cake Pan is the absolute BEST! I am so picky when it comes to a good cake and their pound cake is to die for. Absolutely delicious!!! We are using Ann's cake pan for our wedding and they have been very accommodating for us as a vendor even though we had to postpone due to the pandemic. We ordered a smaller cake for our smaller wedding ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! We showed them pictures and they were able to replicate it perfectly. They have so many delicious flavors and the butter cream frosting is the best I've ever had (and I am a big cake lover)! read more

I had a cake made for my mother's 92nd birthday. I did bring to them one of my paper cake plates. Let me tell you, the cake was absolutely beautiful. All my company raved how beautiful the cake was, but above all, the taste of this cake, was something I had never had before. I had received so many compliments on this. I ordered a pound cake, and now I know where I will order any future cakes! Take my word, you will not be disappointed! read more

Just picked up the cake I had ordered last week for my daughter's birthday tomorrow and was instantly brought to tears. Not the good kind either... tears of dissatisfaction. I had emailed a picture of the cake I wanted, and in return for my business, they provided me with disappointment. We have ordered cakes from here in the past, the last being for a sweet 16 and I can tell you they are capable of doing a much better job... this is why I ordered from them again. Maybe this is why I'm so unsatisfied this time around. read more

Ann's cake pan is amazing! We planned our wedding in less than two months and Ann's cake pan was more than accommodating! The cake they send you home with to test is AMAZING. Makes it very hard to decide which flavor. We did the pumpkin on top, and pound and chocolate on the bottom. I did a semi- naked cake with a small amount of flower. Seriously beautiful and delicious !! I would highly recommend to anyone. I will definitely go back for all of my cake needs. Thanks so much read more

I chose Ann's Cake Pan over a variety of other bakeries to do my wedding cake and grooms cake because the quality of their work is seldom seen. The cake itself is moist and flavorful and their buttercream frosting is simply divine. I had only an idea and a couple of pictures for both my wedding and grooms cake and Ann's Cake Pan met and surpassed my expectations! They work one on one with their customers to make sure there are no issues or problems. 10/10 will use for future functions and will recommend to anyone and everyone! read more

Ann's Cake Pan - My beautiful and delicious wedding cake courtesy of Ann's Cake Pan - Bakeries Near Me - Horsham, Pennsylvania

We have used this place for cakes for a number of occasions. We have always been very satisfied. But, one event takes the star, The wedding cake. We used them for the first time in 1998 for our wedding. They delivered as promised. And probably the only memorable thing from our meal that afternoon was the cake. All this time, years later, people still comment on how good that cake tasted. It was moist and tasted better than any other wedding cake they had before. Can I say it again, people still comment on how good the cake TASTED. Wedding cakes usually are bland and not memorable for how it tastes. It is usually the decoration or cake cutting, etc. that people remember about it. And their decoration skills were superior to a lot of other cakes I've seen. We ordered something simple, but it was still crafted skillfully. And like I said, we have used them several more times over the years for other cakes for birthdays or other events. read more

We got our wedding cake from Ann's cake pan 10 years ago. It was delicious and gorgeous and we were hooked. We have been going back ever since for birthday cakes making the drive from south NJ 1-2 time a year for their hazelnut cake. It's absolute incredible, both the regular hazelnut pound cake and the chocolate hazelnut cake, and the hazelnut frosting is unreal. Anyone who tries it agrees it is the best cake they have ever had. read more

Tasted this cake at a bridal expo with a friend a decade ago and have been hooked ever since! When it was my turn to get married, this was the easiest decision of the entire planning effort. The tasting, like the business itself, was quaint and personal. If you're looking for slick and corporate, this is not the place for you. But if you want to support a family business, and eat your cake samples in a living room in a private setting (just you and your partner, no other couples), this is your place. Note you cannot pay with a credit card, cash or check only. You're not getting a slick brochure, or slick customer service. You're getting delicious beautiful cake made by a family of bakers. They're not a family of ad execs. But this down-to-earth business style is in no way a deterrent. They listened to our design input and made it easy to order. When we ordered our wedding cake I literally ordered 100 extra servings and gave it away as a wedding favor. Everyone said it was the best favor - and best wedding cake - they'd ever gotten. When we came home from our honeymoon *three weeks later* we ate wedding cake from our fridge and it was still wonderful. Since then I have ordered father's day cake, birthday cakes and an occasional "surprise, it's cake!" cakes. The people at Ann's always took my order happily, even if there wasn't a lot of turnaround time, and were happy to work with my design ideas. I'm a happy repeat customer and highly recommend them. read more

We've been buying occasion cakes from Ann's Cake Pan since 2002, when we stumbled upon them at a bridal expo at the Willow Grove Mall. We haven't used them for a wedding cake, but have bought multiple graduation and birthday cakes. Their cakes are the best around - always tasty and fresh, and the frosting isn't too sweet. They also hold together well in the warm weather. I can't say enough positive things about them - they're the best! read more

Amazing bakery! They've done my wedding cake, 1st anniversary cake, and child's birthday cake, and they consistently deliver a great tasting, beautiful cake! They are so attentive to detail, and really listen to their customers and deliver. Can't recommend enough! Their cake is so good that my dad ate the top tier of cake when I was on my honeymoon! Ann's Cake Pan hands down has the best cake I have ever had! I got married last week and we had them do our wedding cake. When we had our sampling we were so blown away, and the finished product was just as amazing. When we had the sampling it was funny because we were told that other places give you cupcakes to sample that are not very good and it was so true! We went to another place and the samples were awful hard cupcakes. You will not find a better place to get a cake! The buttercream frosting is seriously a dream. We will definitely be getting other cakes here in the future! read more

We order all of our occasion cakes from Ann's Cake Pan! Birthdays, accomplishments, and sometimes just because we want cake. Cakes are so delicious (family fav is the Raspberry swirl) and gorgeous. Do not hesitate to order from here read more

We received a cake with our wedding package and it was delicious. Ann's makes a FANTASTIC product! However, the customer service is something to be desired. We worked with Bill for most of the time leading up to our big day. Nothing was properly explained to us from day one and when we asked for something in writing, he scribbled the information on a plain sheet of paper in handwriting that was very difficult to decipher. We dealt with John one day and immediately thought that he should handle customer communications. Overall the cake was beautiful and tasted amazing- our guests are still talking about it a week later. They just need to change their communications practices and they would get 5 stars from us. read more

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this bakery is! I work in Horsham and needed a last minute birthday cake. Most area bakeries are closed on Mondays but not Ann's Cake Pan. I stopped in and found a commercial kitchen, not the retail bakery I was expecting. Bill was gracious and offered to bake a cake for me that afternoon and have it ready at the end of the day. He baked me a fudge chip cake with buttercream frosting. It was beautifully decorated and he even included the candles! They did my wedding cake and it got more compliments than my dress. They offer the same great service for a small cake as did for the amazing wedding cake. read more

I've been getting my family's birthday cakes and holiday cakes from Ann's since 2010. They are not only the most beautiful cakes I've ever seen but they are also the most delicious I've tasted. The pound cake is always melt-in-your-mouth moist and the vanilla buttercream icing is rich yet not too sweet. PLUS, the owners are some of the nicest people you'll meet! Thank you Ann's!! You've made this family very happy over the years! read more

We used Ann's Cake Pan for our wedding. Pros: The cake turned out beautiful in appearance! The flowers they created were gorgeous and looked real and they were able to create a dye for the icing to match our wedding colors perfectly. The owners (brothers) were very nice and happy to work with you to create the cake to meet your needs. They offer many types of cake ( like raspberry lemonade and pumpkin) as well as various options for the style/ design. Cons: We were able to taste their cakes a few times prior to our wedding and knew they were very good. However, on our wedding day, the cake was a little more dry and definitely not as moist or light as when we tried them in the past. We wish it had been the same quality as before... The appearance of the offices (both in Horsham and at their home)- not very updated or extremely organized. read more

I got married on June 1st and had Ann's Cake Pan do my wedding cake. The experience was great! We met with them at their house where the business started many years ago, reviewed all of the options, and went through what we wanted in detail. We then had a few check ins over phone before the wedding and then voila, it was beautiful! Their cakes are so delicious, well worth the cost. I would definitely use them again. read more

I sampled this cake years ago at an event for The Breathing Room, at the time I couldn't believe how good the cake was. As my daughter planned her wedding, I came across their name again and suggested we check them out. We were not disappointed. We went for a cake tasting where we were offered 8 different flavors of pound cake. My daughter chose three varieties, orange chocolate chip, raspberry lemonade, and pumpkin. There was much joking about the pumpkin being out of season since the wedding was in May, however the groom was a big fan of pumpkin. They stayed with a simple design to match their theme, although they were torn because of the gorgeous flowers that they could have added! The only dessert they offered at the reception was the wedding cake, and it was delicious. The pumpkin, was gone in a heartbeat, the poor groom only got one piece! Every flavor we had, had big fans. I highly recommend Ann's Cake Pan!! read more

I chose Ann's Cake Pan after attending a bridal show and absolutely falling in love with the flavor of their pound cake with butter cream icing. They did a fantastic job on our wedding cake, and have a talent for making butter cream look as clean as fondant (but it tastes SOOOOO much better than fondant). I would definitely recommend Ann's not only for the fantastic taste, but their beautiful creations. Will definitely be using their services in the future!!! read more
