But the one I choose was one she asked me to try.,I Wasn't to sure about it. I am glad I listened to her. It was something I never would have looked at but it was amazing. She really knows her clients and puts them in the right look. Her selection of dress is huge, so many beautiful dresses. I will go back when i have another special occasion and need a wow dress. Thank you Vera.

My mother had a beautiful wedding dress that we took there to alter, plus my dress, and a few other dresses that we brought in so we paid a large amount for them. They did a terrible alteration job on the wedding dress causing the train to have to be removed but the people at Vera's said the dress looked "fine" but it did not. They were very rude as well. They do not care about their customers at all. Once they get their money they treat you like trash and don't put time and effort into the customers service. Thankfully David's bridal came through and we bought a very beautiful cathedral with the help of their generous and polite workers there. I recommend davids bridal 100% for they take time in their customers!! DO NOT go to Vera's

However, I had to get a manager involved to return a t-shirt because I had worn it before finding it defective. It was sewn wrong and the collar just curled up. But how does one find this out without wearing it? They finally gave me a refund, but it shouldn't have even been a question.

I had an amazing experience with Wanda and Eric, which started with a woman on the floor above whose name I didn't think to grab, but she was on her last day of seasonal employment and was trying to make sure she communicated as much knowledge as possible, so that I could get a good deal. I wanted two overcoats on sale in different colors in 48L, but they weren't in the store. I found out from the nameless saint mentioned above that as long as it's not in a specific clearance section, you can do that. Eric was really helpful but limited by being relatively new, so Wanda took over and contacted the site and a number of stores, trying to get someone to send the sizes I needed. Ultimately, it was a timing situation where none of the locations that stated having that size actually had it, so I walked out with a 48R in one color, which will work alright for me, and direction to the site, where I was able to get the other color in 46L, which will be a little tighter around the shoulders but more generous to my arms, and for 75% of the price of the other coat (the site only had like 40R in the first color, which would be impossible to Tetris myself into). Yes, people are paid to help, but times are tough, and sometimes it's hard to have the energy to help when you're underpaid and customers are jerks. Three very kind and helpful people had my back yesterday, which made for an awesome experience.

It's is a good mall. I visited on the last Saturday of March 2026 and during the first weekend in May 2026 for business. PARKING -- There are alot of free parking options outside at the parking lot. SHOPPING -- Plenty of shops to choose from such as J.Crew, Victoria's Secrets, Yankee Candle, Kopper Popper (popcorn store), Apple (foe cell phones, headphones, and laptops), Auntie Anne's (pretzels), etc. FOOD -- There is a food court here that has about 5 different type of restaurants. I noticed Sbarro (pizza), Charley's Philly Steaks (Philly cheesesteak sandwiches), and Asian Chao (Chinese food). I've tried food from Asian Chao which was good - I got rice, some vegetables, and I believe chicken in a to-go plastic container. If you live in the area then visit Summit Mall. There are activities for children (a playground inside) which is probably what is keeping the mall alive considering that online shopping is on the rise. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 78/250 total reviews in 2026 - 919 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 13 May 2026

The shop is medium sized, nowhere near some of the big stores, but what you will find is really high quality items at a great price. The Discovery Shop has a nice if not huge selection of clothes, they have just recently expanded the men's area in the back to allow for more variety. Most of the items are high end and usually very current. Where the Discovery Shop really shines is the selection of art, decor and interesting items. It seems that they get more upscale donations then most thrift stores, plus they are raising money for a great cause. Other items include books, media, all kinds of kitchenware, plates, glasses and jewelry. Prices are reasonable, what makes it even better is that they have a 50% discount color every week and the last weekend of each month the entire store is 50% off. Over the years I have found some really nice sports coats and a number of carved wood items at the Discovery Shop. Well worth a stop to check out if you are looking for some great items at good prices, plus it is great to support the American Cancer Society. I also want to shout out the volunteers at the Discovery Shop, they are always friendly and helpful and the store is well set up, organized and attractive.
