I feel they punish students in an unfair matter. The teachers are awesome, except a couple who in my opinion should be fired. Some staff are great, nice and firm when it comes to bad situations, but the way they punish the students here is unacceptable. For example, 'what's the name' will talk to the principal something happened like she punched me or some crap like that. No matter what staff it is in the entire school, they will only punish the people who were blamed. Not even asking their side of the story. Other than that, I am well and happy being in this school and will be going to a different school next year. I think you should check this place out because most teachers are awesome.

This school has exceeded mine. The school has not only taught me children academics but more importantly provides an opportunity to be taught how to be a good person with integrity in this world. She shared a story and even showed fake tears of her and a story about someone in her family with Autism. My son has been able to read and write since he was two. We was told that one of the reasons is because he speaks African American at home, which is why he is having speech problems. My son would come home in tears saying that Cindy would make him feel stupid and he would have to always say sorry for his actions. We than went out and had a individual test of my son and they was heart broken to hear how a teacher could make someone so intelligent feel shelled in and insecure at such a young age. We pulled our son because of the protesting going on in front of the school and Cindy saying she can't do anything for my son because she is a public school teacher. Cindy called one day and asked if we can bring a toy so she could use it a pacifier for my son. I told her no that he has been in programs since 2, she went against what we said and bought him a toy and told him not to tell his parents. That was the last straw and he was pulled from the school immediately.

Our kids are currently in 5th and 7th grades and have grown into confident, kind, and intelligent leaders. The school has been able to offer them an intimate learning environment with small classes and the most amazing and talented teachers. Kids are not only challenged academically but they also are able to go on unique, fun, and educational field trips. The school also has wonderful specialist classes like music, art, Spanish, PE and SEL (social emotional learning). The art shows, musical productions, and monthly showcases show how much the kids are thriving. They also have an incredible counselor and learning specialists who can help children with any additional needs. One of the best parts of Presentation is all of the public speaking opportunities kids get to really boost their confidence in front of an audience. Kids quickly become comfortable presenting in front of peers and adults which is so important for any future endeavors. After meeting with various kids (and speaking with their parents) who have graduated from Presentation, we know that kids are very well prepared for high school and feel grateful to have found this school. We have had nothing but an incredible experience there and would highly recommend this school to anyone with kids in grades TK-8.
