Cool little cappuccino bar for Breakfast.

Which is the Hotel because it was close to the airport without reviewing on yelp. No the review side has some good reviews of this place. You have a free shuttle service to take along with the reservation. Since we took the water taxi from the City on Venezia to the airport, the shuttle picked us up there and took us right to the hotel. Checkin was quick, room is clean spacious and ready for business, with a desk second telephone an extra lamps, in its own separate area separated from the sleeping area. Nice place right? They even come to the shuttle and take you to the recommended restaurants. Took us to the local family place which I also reviewed and it was an exceptional dinner. The only problem was that they turn off the heat on April 15 and after that they do not have heat in the rooms. We were cold and wet from getting caught in the rain in the city of Venice this was a major drawback. It's a nice area but they have construction right in front of the hotel. Otherwise they do have a computer for use to print our boarding passes and a small cappuccino bar which doubles as the breakfast area. If not for the loss of the heat we would recommend this hotel. We will not return.

Terrific hotel for flying in and out of Venice. Often, flights to the area arrive and depart at odd hours of the the day (or night!), and so finding a hotel close by with a late check in was an absolute necessity. A free shuttle is available 24 hours to and from the airport and is operated by the hotel itself. Simply place a call to the front desk and request transport. It picks up out by the car park/parking lot (by the water tower). The hotel itself is modern, sleek, and beautiful. We booked a room with a loft for our first night on our honeymoon. Key entry uses a chip card and is very secure. Tons of amenities in the room: hair dryer, toiletries, free wifi, mini bar (extra cost), heated towel rack, bidet, and beautiful spa-like shower. Beds are firm, yet extremely comfortable, with a choice of hypoallergenic polyester, natural down, or hypoallergenic latex pillow (upon request). I slept so well! Breakfast is a flat 10€, and is quite a lush spread. I didn't see that table service is available; it's a serve yourself buffet of pastries, cured meats, cheeses, American-style breakfast foods (cereal, eggs and bacon), plus a juice machine and an espresso/cappuccino/latte machine. Everything was absolutely delicious! Hotel staff constantly checked that the buffet was stocked, plates cleared, etc. 24 hour room service and bar available (per their pamphlet). In addition, the grounds are beautiful and well-kept, quite picturesque on the side opposite the highway. Overall, Annia Hotel is a stunner-- very close to the airport, modern, with tons of amenities and freebies, a stylish aesthetic, and top-notch service.

They have excellent front desk people. Alvise was great in answering questions, always smiling and very good in guiding us places to eat, catch water bus, gondola service etc. We reached an hour early and lucky to get a room. Checked in without any issues and went to get some good and sightseeing. Rooms are maintained well. We had a queen bed , with 2 additional twin beds. The wifi is great in the hotel rooms. The shower had nice flow and very spacious bathrooms. Everything is maintained really well. We had a situation with Ac and the staff at night time cane and assisted us out. It's official! My favorite city so far in Italy was Venice! Despite all the horror stories about…read morethe flooding, I was happy to still have the chance to visit this city while I was in Italy. During my recent stay in Venice, I reserved the Hotel Abbazia as it was one of the best locations near the Santa Lucia Railway Station. Literally, the hotel was 700 ft from the station, down an alleyway as I passed several restaurants; you can't beat the convenience and the price! For a budget hotel, this was a simple and decent stay--the room offers a small flat-screen TV, iron board and hairdryer, mini-refrigerator and air conditioner, and a hard ol' mattress queen bed, not the most comfortable bed but it was doable for the time that I spent there. The only thing it didn't offer was a damn elevator; BOO! Good thing for friends because my homegirl and her boyfriend were able to take my heavy ass suitcase up to the second floor or else a sista' would have been struggling! The hallways to the bedrooms were this sexy red lighting that automatically came on when it sensed any movement. I liked it but I sensed that my friends thought it was pretty creepy. The hotel offers a beautiful elegant dining/bar area with a gorgeous chandelier. This is also where free breakfast is served in the morning. I hear breakfast offered an array of different pastries and fruit. If you have time to eat breakfast, I would give it a shot. Make sure you also check out the back-garden seating area. It's perfect for enjoying your breakfast in the morning or coming out to get some fresh air. The staff during the evening was nice, however, I felt that the gentleman became irritated with me as the bedroom door had slammed shut on me as I was walking my friends out of my bedroom, and it just so happened that I had left my keys in the room. Also, just like similar hotels in Italy, the air conditioners turn off after a certain time, making these rooms stuffy. The only option I had was to open the window; UGH. The rooms are quiet, I couldn't hear my neighbors at all. The bathroom was super small, and the showers were not the best. The water temperature only provided cold water; BOO! You can tell the facility is a little outdated and needs some TLC. Within the area alone, there are varies different restaurants. Once you walk out of the hotel, you are right in front of all the activities. You can take a Water Boat to any side of Venice, or you can do what I did and just walk the whole City as its pretty doable to do in 8 hours. There are also bars all throughout the area, making for a great night. If you are looking for more of a convenient hotel near the station and close to many of the landmarks in Venice, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying for less than 2 nights. P.S-If you are planning to leave your luggage at this hotel as you roam the Venice area, please note that this hotel doesn't lock the door to the luggage room. Make sure you take your valuables with you.

Our suite was very spacious and had a separate parlor. They arranged our airport transfers, gave us recommendations for lunch and dinner, gave us ideas to go sightseeing (been to Venice before). Might have been easier to get to from train station but, live and learn. The lady who met us at the desk and appeared to be here every minute of the day, Francesca was amazing. This is one thing I noticed in Europe. Most are not very friendly, if you are used to the American way. You kinda feel they're cold and it's kinda awkward at first. But when you really need help and ask for it, they finally come through. There are a few exceptions though like on our way to Rome from Germany. The two Germans who assisted us with the plane transfer were warm and enthusiastic. They're the best of the Europeans, together with the Italian shuttle driver when we were leaving from Venice, we ever dealt with. So online, I reserved for 4 people in the room with Expedia. I did not get any email at all telling me that 4 isn't allowed in any of the rooms. So the attendant just told me that there is a problem with my reservation because it's only for 3 persons. To make the story short, I just agreed to getting an extra single room for £100/night. I reserved for 2 nights but only my husband was staying the first night as my girls and I are headed to Rome that same morning. But I guess due to some European rule, I wasn't allowed to get the extra room only for the second night. It had to be for both nights. It's simply unfathomable to me why so..... in America, that is not going to happen. But as they say, when in Rome....... They offer free breakfast. You could eat in their restaurant for dinner but only if the cook is available. The first room on the first floor with 3 beds is kinda decent. There was enough space to move my wheelchair. Nice wooden ceiling but everything else is typical. Comforters look a little bit old and dated though. The single room on the second floor is kinda creepy according to my daughter who slept there. It's dark without much light. There is a nice yard at least where you could walk around and get some fresh air. That is a plus. They have a crowded swimming pool which we never used. They charge £22 for an airport drop off from the hotel. Most, if not all hotels in Italy, offer shuttle service as there is a huge demand for travel. The driver is very helpful and professional. For a £10 tip, he accompanied us, pushing one of our luggage carts, all the way to the check in. The discharge attendant was much nicer than the check in attendant though. Some guy who came from southern USA with a more upbeat personality- warmer and friendlier.

When you check in you are instructed to go to one of their other hotels and then they will have an employee escort you to the Venice Resorts property about 5-7 min walk away. The location was fantastic because it was in the middle (or at least easy access) to most of the key sites and areas you wanted to see in Venice. They did offer free breakfast vouchers that were to be redeemed at a coffeeshop less than 3 minutes away, but I never used them. I did make one attempt but after seeing the line of customers I decided to get something elsewhere. The rooms are clean, the chamber maids were on top of things almost to the point of having to "shoo" them away, comfortable beds, good A/C (although you had to turn it off as well as lights b/c fuse issues did/would occur), near decent restaurants and very close to Pz Roma. The shower was a bit on the small side, which could pose a problem for those needing more space to move around. There was also a spot where quite a few gondoliers would hang out at (due to the bar across the sidewalk) so I did see a few people catching rides from that point. So, if that is your thing... consider it a close taxi stand (lol). I'd definitely recommend this hotel as well as stay at it again the next time I am in Venice.
