Highly recommend Hotel Moresco, stayed here twice over the past 5 years and is truly one of my favorite hotels... I wish every hotel could be like them. Their customer service is second to none, calling them or texting them from the states they always answer your questions and have great advice. Rooms are beautifully decorated and try to book with a view of the canal and bridge.. just beautiful. Complimentary breakfast is served , great choices and unlimited with fantastic coffee anyway you want. Hotel is spotless and has a beautiful garden area to eat breakfast in on nice weather mornings. Some may thing it's a bit out of the way from the center of city but I love that it's a 5 min walk from piazza Roma when you take the bus from Marco Polo airport and you are a 6 min walk to the ATV ferries to travel around Venice, also the main train station is about a 7 min walk to catch bullet trains to other parts of Italy. Florence 2.5 hrs , Verona 1.5 hrs away. Hotel Moresco is a true Gem and its employees make it superb. Truly one of my favorite hotels in the world. Thank you guys , simply the best!

It's hard to add anything different than what others have said. So convenient but just a bit away from the congested areas. Vaparetto main station a short walk away and turn station too. Five stars for every staffer at this hotel. It's a true gem. The garden is a lovely respite from being a crazy tourist. They grow potted mandarins, lemons and limes outside and the woman who tends to the plants was so sweet and proud. Loved the breakfast, the happy hour. You'd think a hotel would up charge the spritzes but they were 5 euro just like everyplace else. I love them for not hosing their guests. We were there in October and we would go back in a heartbeat.

Fabulous hotel! Prior to our arrival we asked the hotel to make some restaurant reservations for us and they promptly made the bookings and notified us. We were not sure if the location was ideal but it was actually perfect! From the airport you can take the airport express and arrive at the bus station in 20 mins for only about 11 euros round trip. The hotel is less than 5 minute walk from the bus station and it is a very easy and quick walk. Walking to San Marco is about twenty minutes but there are plenty of random canals to explore along the way! Plenty of restaurants nearby too! Upon arrival you are provided with some complimentary snacks and drinks. We also were provided a free bottle of prosecco in our room. The hotel has a complimentary breakfast with eggs made to order as well as evening snacks. Free wi-fi too! Our room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Moresco. We selected this hotel because it was on the canal but set back from the busiest tourist areas. In addition, the reviews were very good. We were not disappointed! The hotel is easily assessable, beautifully apportioned, and the staff is wonderful. Definitely a 5-star experience. It's location is about a 30 min walk to Rialto and 45 min to San Marcos, but the water bus that runs the Grand Canal is only a 5 min walk which makes getting around quite easy. From the beginning, the staff took very good care of us. We called ahead to arrange a water taxi from the airport (120 Euro but door to door service), then stored our bags while we were waiting for our room to be ready. Barbara, at the front desk, was super helpful. She explained the hotel amenities, to include breakfast and happy hour, and helped us decide on local attractions and travel. She was just a joy to work with all 4 days we were there. The room was just perfect. It was plenty large enough for the two of us with a large bath. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the canal. The windows were insulated and we couldn't hear any of the canal traffic unless the window was open. There was a complementary bottle of Prosecco in the room when we arrived. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. At least 2 waiters were there to ensure we had everything we needed. There was plenty of hot and cold items to choose from plus the staff would prepare eggs to order and coffee or tea. There was no rush and the food was terrific. And mimosas were on the house! The outside patio looked like a great place to enjoy breakfast but the weather was a little too cold in the mornings for us to use that amenity. We only went to the happy hour once but the food there was also good. Hot and cold snacks and an attentive bar tender. The alcohol is not included but that didn't bother us a bit. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. It's top notch with a terrific staff that makes the stay just perfect.

The little details of moresco

Spent one night here. Checked in late around 6pm. After finishing at the front desk, the staff invited my gf and I to have complimentary snacks and wine in the "library". The snacks were amazing. The house red was good. My room was on the second floor closest and facing the river. That window view is forever engrained in my head. I would go back in a heart beat. The staff is extremely courteous.

Wonderful boutique hotel with under 30 rooms centrally located in Florence. They have the best service of any hotels we stayed at in Italy. Beautiful little courtyards, quaint reception and library area with light snacks and food for happy hour each evening. Rooms are super quiet and you will be welcomed with smiling, helpful staff and a bottle of champagne. Great choice if you'll be in Venice for a few nights.

Walking distance from everything you want in Venice. They gave us a free bottle of Bellini when we checked in. Great breakfast buffet right on the water, that was included with our room for being Marriott elite members. This has to be one of the nicest best hotels in Venice. The only somewhat downside is that because this is such a nice hotel, room service and the food options at the hotel are completely overpriced. But that's the case almost everything in Venice from what we saw. If there was some more reasonable food and beverage options at this hotel i would have given it 5 stars

Coffee and a welcome bottle of Prosecco were also waiting for us. The view is really, truly right on the canal. It's fantastic but surprisingly quiet at night, likely due to the excellent windows We took the water taxi to the San Marco Square then walked back and it was about a 30 minute walk with beautiful shops and restaurants almost the entire way. Final note, the breakfast was a very good value with a diverse selection and excellent coffee. We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

At the time I was Starwood Platinum, and I booked a King room with a view of the canal. As we checked in - after the train ride from Milan, the long water Vaporetto ride, and the cold walk from the square - the staff was quite friendly as they informed us ... I had been upgraded to a suite with a terrace on the top floor! Right across the canal from the room was the Basilica, with the Lagoon behind it and Lido off in the distance. The furnature was pure classical period style and the terrace was larger than my next room in Munich. Unfortunately it was February so the Terrace was of little use and some of the hotel facilities were not open. But it was fabulous anyway. Now, my stay may not be typical, not everyone gets upgraded to a $2,500/night hotel room. The location is great - easy walking to just about any part of Venezia. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not sure about wifi and connectivity - when we were in the room we weren't surfing the internet.
