They promised we would ONLY pay the balance when Delivery and installation were done. The night before our installation appointment, Jenny sent us a payment request text at 7:43pm. There was no Invoice issued earlier. Payment request was not mentioned either when I scheduled the appointment a couple days prior to that. She also called us for payment at 9:20pm. We told Jenny we will proceed per the contract and pay the balance $3000 after the installation as they advertised. Jenny was not happy. She cancelled our installation immediately. Quality wise, their products are over priced. We paid a made-in-USA price as they advertised but got something just a way-fair quality. Go to pottery barn, you will get better curtains at 40% of their price and twice better quality. Now, Jenny is holding our $3000 and won't proceed the order. It is nothing but her power show. She is also taking advantage of our urgency. I guess we should not have told her we needed the products urgently.

Two of the companies did not bother to come out opting instead to do the quote over zoom which was generally terrible. I asked them about shutters and they immediately shut me down saying they were too expensive. When I contacted HWB, Bryan responded right away and came out. I was having a lot of work done at the house when he came but he was patient and took his time showing me options and making recommendations. When I asked about shutters he explained the pros and cons and had actual samples ao I could see how they would look on my windows. He took measurements of all the windows and advised me what would and would not work. Bryan was personable and knowledgeable. He was patient as we weighed our options and answered our emailed questions quickly. The prices were reasonable and he gave me hope when we found out many of our windows were now super shallow. The installer came on time, was efficient and super nice. They explained how to care for the shutters and that they had a life time warranty.
